Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 7435 W Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, NV

Would give 0 stars if I could. Starter here 3 months ago. Within the first month they put signs up changing the access time till only 6pm most days (cube smart is 10pm For context). They only have two main doors to enter and they are constantly broken or crowded. Today was the breaking point for me. I spent the entire morning loading up a trailer filled with stuff for my storage unit (most of it large furniture). When I arrived the large gate was not busy for once. I was thrilled and backed my trailer in. Only to find a new posted message that says the sliding glass door to my unit is out of order…. I go to the front desk and they say I can access from inside (small door with an awkward angle that won’t fit any of my large furniture). Not to mention having to carry it by hand through the entire unit. The man and woman were extremely confrontational. I asked if they would be giving extra time or money back for always being broken and she explained they would not do any compensating despite receiving payment for services not provided. Avoid at all cost!!!!

Not even worthy of a single star! The doors to get in are consistently broken & inoperable. We were charged $75 to throw away the facilities trash!! They left trash on a cart that is for CUSTOMER USE. We took the trash bag off the cart & left it exactly where they left the cart...& they charged us for leaving trash. This place is EXTREMELY DISCOURTEOUS to paying customers. Today...they managed to "lose the keys" to the large doors and leave us to move our items through a standard door...for the 7th time...out of 8 visits. Poorly managed, poorly operated, poor customer service. Do yourselves a favor & store elsewhere. We will.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! This place is a disaster. This is NOT a 24-hour facility. Hours have been adjusted and even when you try to enter during those hours, the doors will not unlock for you. The only access point is through a pedestrian door that was destroyed by vandals. Units have been broken into, items have been stolen, and there are people living in the units. I would not walk in there without a weapon. Access points have been damaged for weeks and left in disrepair. I will NEVER rent a unit from Public Storage, and neither should you!

Beware on renting from this location. Everyone from the area manager Jenny down to the property manager should be ashamed to offer a place like this. I've rented a 10x15 at this location for over 6 months and had to deal with a lot. There's people that live in these units that leave the place trashed, vandalized, feces/urine all over the place. The feces and urine has been sitting in the same places for months! Please see pictures. The area manager should be evaluated; and accountable for having such a title for managing this property and for public safety to continue. So people live here, break-ins happen, there's trash left everywhere and not to mention the feces /urine left everywhere while she turns a blind eye? Please looks into this cooperate. I've had these pictures and was going to report this to the health district. The final straw for me is the limited access to everyones unit because you decide to wait until the last loading dock door is broken causing an inconvenience to your customers. I refuse to tolerate the chaos any longer when there are plenty of secure, organized storage options nearby. By the way folks this is a current issue to date. 8/10/24

Storage is climate controlled. A variety of sizes. Easy access.

Poor service. No one can ever be found, no one ever picks up the phone. Ghost facility, feels like a Scooby Doo set walking around with how dirty and desolate it is.

I came in earlier and met Kera and Mick, I had a bunch of questions that they had no problem answering and had an answer to every single question they were very knowledgeable!

STAY AWAY from this storage place, please take your business elsewhere. last night I came by to get some things the whole hallway smelled like weed, and something else burning. People are living in the storage units, I understand times are hard for people right now but it isn't right when units are being broken into. Management needs to fix these issues asap.

Beware!! No security! Unit got broken into and zero assistance from their management and they didn’t even want to file a police report or share footage! Definitely inside job! Not even an apology call or a “we promise to find them”..

My friend and I came here to look at a storage unit for him. I have a service dog, and before we could get within 10 feet, the representative opened the door and refused to allow us to enter stating service dogs are not allowed on property per company policy. I politely told her that this was in violation of federal law, to which she said "You aren't the first person to be upset by it". I let her know I would do a Google review and have also contacted corporate to address. We will not do business with a company that discriminates against disabled people and disregards federal law. This seems to be rampant in Vegas.

Rachel was above and beyond with her customer service. Customer service was top tier. It’s quality over quantity. She is amazing!!! Thank you Rachel!!!

Don’t trust this place! Poorly managed, design flaw in storage units allowed thieves to steal all your belongings. Considering you need credentials to gain access and there’s video surveillance, no action taken by management to identify the thieves or report them to authorities. Meaning it’s an inside job or the management is protecting the identity of the thief. Either way, stay away from this place!

BEWARE! Poor security, and no cooperation from management! They take zero responsibility when your storage unit gets broken into in the middle of the night and thieves steal all your belongings inside!

ROBBERY! I GOT BROKEN IN!! THEFT! MAY 23 i was notified someone broke into my indoor unit and stole my personal stuff!!! Terrible lock and security system! And of course they refused to share with me video footage or even file a police report on their behalf (I filed on my behalf but LV police didnt care too much). THIS WAS AN INSIDE JOB!!! 100%!!! Only 1 guy that owns a storage unit inside knew what i had in my storage unit and the staff. It took me 10 hours to get hold of someone there to meet my cousins (I live abroad) and all they did was move whatever left into another unit!! BEWARE!!! Zero followup calls or customer support or show of any assistance! I wouldnt be surprised if whatever left there will be stolen too with this terrible security system and zero help!

This is the worst storage facility I've ever been to. The office isn't open during business hours sunless you have an appointment so if you have to go to the bathroom your outof luck. I tried to use it there was someone sitting at the desk and they wouldn't unlock the door because I didn't have an appointment they talked to me through the glass doors. Also there elevators take about 45 seconds to close. If more than one person gets on the elevators going to different floors if your not the one that puts in the code first you'll be on it for a while because for you to get off on your floor you have to go all the way down to the first get out and put in your code then you can go to your floor. Getting a cart GOOD LUCK. The front office isn't very helpful at all when you open up your unit they give you very little info if any about the facility all they care about is getting your money. You have to punch in your code to open the main door then again to open the sliding door and again to get on the elevator just to get to your unit unless your on the first floor. And just to let everybody know as much as they tell you there is nobody living at this facility they lie there are 2 units that I know for sure on the 2nd floor I tried to tell management and they said they would look into it and never did because they were still there when I moved my stuff out. Units get broke into all the time here there was one unit that got broken into looked like a truck ran through the door the whole door was off the track and the lock was still on the unit. Would not recommend anyone to rent from this facility. Very poor business and no hospitality. STAY AWAY MONEY HUNGRY establishment.

Yana was an Excellent worker and very knowledgeable I recommend anyone to come get a storage with them.

My mom and I went to get a storage and Yana was AMAZING! She gave us the 5star customer service, she was very friendly, knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend get a storage with them as they are proficient! 🤞🏾🥰

So if I could give zero stars as a review, this public storage would definitely get it. I purchased a unwanted unit through online auction. When I showed up to pay for this unit 20% of the items in the unit were already taken. The employee/manager named Dale told me that “maybe” they gave a courtesy to the tenant that was delinquent and let them take what they want out of the unit even though they were delinquent. so definitely think twice before bringing your items or personal belongings to this public storage because they could possibly be stolen. Upper management definitely needs to handle this situation.

Rachel at this facility is fantastic. She is very accomodating and very easy and pleasant to deal with. She runs a very good operation.

I've noticed a dramatic difference the past month or so. It's cleaner, and the last couple of times I went there have been 3 carts in the large bay unloading/ loading area. Rachel was there when I was there a couple of days ago. She was cleaning, and I suggested that a new customer who didn't know how to get her code to get to the unit she had just rented online ask if Rachel could help. Rachel stopped what she was doing and kindly helped this new customer find their code and showed them how to get to their unit. I started renting back in May when Servpro put my belongings there after my house flooded. Jim was helpful and it was an easy process to rent a second unit myself to use while my house was being repaired. When servpro turned the keys over to me, Brian was rude to everyone who walked in because nobody made an appointment. If you walk in off the street, and there is someone in the office, you assume they're open. For a few months, there were never any carts available. Once, when I was there, there was another customer calling to ask about the carts, and she was told that they put the carts in the office after business hours. There are no business hours, it's by appointment only. Another time, I saw Brian taking a cart away just as I was arriving to get a few things, and I asked him if he was taking it somewhere. I told him that I never see any carts, and he said he had to put them away because people leave them outside. Then in the same conversation, he denied hiding them and called me a Karen. I should have been a Karen and complained, but I didn't get around to it or mad enough because I didn't go back for a while. I'm so glad Brian isn't there anymore, and even happier that Rachel is there.

I love this facility on W Sahara. It's always clean. There are always carts available to use when I go there. You can actually park your vehicle inside of the facility for convenience. Ms Rachelle always goes out of her way to help me when needed. She's a very straight up person but extremely helpful and I appreciate her. I'm happy with the whole setup from management to facility.

Their building had an alarm going off outside in the early hours on a Saturday. The noise traveled for many blocks. I contacted their customer service and spoke to a woman about the problem. I told her this had already been going on for a few hours. It was now 6:30 a.m. I asked that she get someone out there to turn off the alarm, which was so loud that it was disturbing a good portion of the residential neighborhood. Her reply was not that she would do her best to get the problem handled. No. Her reply was to give me an excuse for why it would not likely be fixed soon. She said that they were not open, so she didn't know when they could get someone out to the location. She did not care at all. And to demonstrate how this company functions, the alarm continued for hours, disturbing what could have been a peaceful Saturday morning. Absolutely unacceptable.

Brian was very helpful and customer service was excellent.

Update: Several months into our agreement there was a temporary billing issue that had me a little worried, but today I was able to reach Rachel at this location and she got everything sorted out. Very helpful! Initial review: Left a voicemail and Jim called right back at this location and made our transfer/upgrade to a larger unit as seamless as possible and matched the best rate possible for a 7.5’ x 10’ with no transfer fee or loss on the transfer (we reserved the original unit less than 24 hours earlier).

This property in particular is doing everything it can to avoid all human interaction and contact. It’s ok until you’ve already paid your move in online and when you’re directed to stop in the office no one’s there to get you set up. No worries on management end they pushed my move in through without me ever coming in office to finalize with my id and my access code information. I’m being charged for a space I’ve never used or seen
