Irvine Climate Controlled Storage Just Off the 55 Freeway
Storage units in Irvine are located between Alton and Barranca parkways not far from the 55 freeway. All-indoor climate controlled storage units in a wide range of sizes from small lockers to extra-large 10x30 storage units are on-site, providing plentiful self storage to Irvine, Santa Ana, Tustin, Costa Mesa and beyond to serve South Orange County communities.
Access to this modern facility, one of Public Storage's largest, is available from most of Orange County's major arteries. In addition to the 55, we are near the 5 and the 405 freeways as well as the 261 and 73 toll roads. Very clean and organized storage, was pretty quiet when I went.
Grate customer service. I have used PS for years. Never had any problems until today. I showed up at my unit and someone had cut of the lock I purchased from PS a long time ago. There was a new built in lock that I did not have keys for. PS got the the door open &. inside was chaotic Someone had broken in. A couple items were damaged. A smalll filing cabinet with taxes was missing. The employees had no empathy. The simply stated, “you store here at your own risk.” I had no idea that language was part of the contract.
Taylor was great! He took the stress out of the strenuous part of moving! He stepped me through opening a new storage unit and was attentive to my needs! Looking forward to a positive experience with public storage Irvine, CA!
Margaret was extremely helpful. I explained to her when I first walked in that I have movers on the way, emptying into a large unit. Very precise directions on facility usage, dos and don'ts, etc. Left knowing exactly what to do and where to go. I later came in asking for a dolly since it would speed up things up for the movers (we had 3 men plus me) - they were all gone since it was month's end. She later tracked down a dolly for me and brought it to us!! Lifesaver. It's rare to see this level of service.
Nice facility and very helpful staff, but they don't have enough carts so expect to have to carry most of your stuff to your unit.
Margaret made the entire experience pleasantly easy and stress free. She recommended the perfect size storage unit, couldn’t be happier. I had a lot of questions and Margaret was not only patient, she answered all of them, leaving me at ease knowing I picked the right location to store my things. The storage facility is on the newer side, the inside is well lit, and they always have plenty of carts available.

Chris L. helped me move into a bigger unit today. He gave me the rates and used an iPad to show me how my storage can fit in the room. He then walked me to all the sizes and opened each room to see my options. I finally chose the one I wanted and it was so easy to upgrade. I also saw him cleaning so I felt safe while moving units.
Margaret had been a doll since the first day I started. She was so friendly and even took me in the go cart to see more units.
Yvette was also kind and informant when I purchased tape, a tape gun, and a lock while I moved between units.

My storage was broken in to & a different lock was placed on to my storage. Management wanted me to pay some locksmith $110 to get the other lock off but I just picked the crooks lock myself. They don't have cameras in the hallways, only in the entrances. So, anyone can break into your storage and just transfer your things into their own storage without getting caught on camera.
Staff was completely unhelpful and made me feel like I did something wrong.
This facility is super clean, easy access and has an elite crew! Always there to help and they go above and beyond. Pricing is fair for the area.

I rented my storage unit end of Jan/23. By May they increased the monthly fee by 33%. Go somewhere else.
I have had pleasant experiences with all of the staff and the facilities are nice. Gaby did an awesome job helping me out when their online app was having an issue processing my auto pay from a specific account. She put in a fee waiver online due to the unfortunate circumstances of the late charge, and within minutes was able to have it reversed. Thanks again!

Interesting fact: they have something like the tv show storage wars here that’s called storage treasures. If anyone is interested in that I believe Taylor said you can find out about it online.
It’s best to book your rental online before arriving to secure a deal they usually have $1 to start or half off first month. They charge a one time $29 set up fee which is expected.
Management is rude but other staff is polite
Best customer service ever! I loved how Gabby & Yvette were so warm and welcoming to us. They offered us good deals on renting the space. Also the facility was so neat, clean and organized. Highly recommend this location for space rental, the process was very easy!

I rented a space paid the amount of 233. I then decided to down size to a smaller unit. Then I changed my mind after being told I would be charged for both units. Then I went to the storage space on Jamboree only to be told I have an outstanding account at the Red Hill location. So they took my money paid for a unit I didn’t purchase and when they refunded me my money they only sent me a check in the amount of 221.25.
The space on Jamboree told me the unit I signed up for didn’t have climate control, Which was the furthest thing from the truth. I purchased a unit same building that had climate control and the AC was working perfectly. However they charge me an additional fee for a climate control unit that I already paid for.

Pest everywhere on the right side of the building. Ive had to bring my own pest control spray due to roaches making a home inside my boxes. Prior to moving boxes I have roaches running out of them.

This Redhill location has the best access hours in Irvine from 8am to 8pm, others open from 9:30am to 6pm(or shorter) that won’t work for my job schedules. Taylor was very polite, he took time, helped me understand the difference between a locker versus a walk-in. He went over and beyond to give excellent customer service and showed me 3 different units in different sizes. He was very patient, knowledgeable and professional! He deserves a promotion for his problem solving skills!
I’ve never been to a storage operation that’s been easy. I’ve never been to a storage unit that comes with an easy task.
The storage business and its ownership always understand that is a larger task and management duty than the public perceive.
I knew right away, that during a massive transition in my life and my belongings, it had to be Margaret and her staff.
This is a large public storage facility in Irvine. You wouldn’t know it. It’s almost like they make you feel at home…. At storage.
They simply do the best job of maintaining a sense of confidence for the customers, safety all, and the cleanliness for the community.
Margaret is one of the best and most amazing people I’ve ever experienced in customer service. She’s tough and she gets to the point.
Clearly that is necessary in the world we live in an especially in the job she has to do here to maintain this beautiful facility.

I rent here for half a year. After 6 months, the rent was increased by 30%. This is unthinkable. I paid $ 98, and now the price is $ 137. It's time to say goodbye
There was an unfortunate leak in our unit that led me to take out my things, but Taylor at the front desk was incredibly helpful about the whole process. He explained what to do about the insurance claim, and was also helpful when it came to moving out of my unit. Thanks again Taylor!
I cannot say enough about the honorable character, competence, and service-mindedness of Gabby at this Public Storage facility!!! Another Public Storage facility nearby tripled my 10'x20' storage unit rent over a three year period—despite my having been a Public Storage customer for even longer than that. Gabby was amazing! She checked on the price increase, made sure I'd submitted a request for a price review, and promised to check back in a few days to ensure I remained a highly satisfied Public Storage customer. I really respected her professionalism, her respect for me as a customer, and her respect for the manager of the Public Storage facility I am in right now. She struck me as an especially gracious, honorable, and service-minded individual who is as committed to customers, the Public Storage brand, and her Public Storage colleagues as she is to the business performance of her own facility. (This is the kind of individual I like to hire for my own business!) What a refreshing Public Storage experience at a time when I was extremely frustrated with my current storage facility's price hikes. At the very least, she has radically improved a longtime Public Storage customer's perceptions of the Public Storage brand.

Some time ago, I lost my key. Long story short, it was a stressful event.
Margaret and Courtney made the whole process much easier, less stressful, and they also made me me laugh!
There have been numerous other times, where I was stressed out, and they (as well as two of the other men who work there), helped me out, and they made a bad and stressful day, become a positive one.
In addition, when ever I walk in, they greet me like I am a friend, which I really appreciate, especially given they have so many customers. I always feel welcome.
This is one of the reasons why I keep coming back to this location.

Meh rented a second unit find out when I get here that it’s above another unit and need to use a rolling ladder. That left me annoyed because no where online did it say it was above another unit. From there my access code for the other unit was disabled and I wasn’t able to get in so had to visit the office a second time since no once answered the call box when I pushed the button.

We have been using Public Storage on Redhill ever since my husband got discharged from the military. Our rent had increased over the years and we were thinking about looking elsewhere for our storage needs but Margaret was super helpful and found us a lower rate, by switching to a different unit. Don’t be fooled into the first month is free,
#1. You have to purchase a lock through public storage which costs $20, (2
you can’t bring your own)
#2. There is a administrative fee (one charge) of $29.
If any taxes are applicable which they are.
Therefore it’s not free.
#3. Each year (maybe twice a year they increase your rent) which is expensive for the size that I have & a rip off) my space isn’t getting bigger, I’ve found other storages cheaper and more flexibility with the times.
Also, there’s rarely carts available.
When moving out make sure you give your notice or else public storage will charge you the next months rate.
Other then that if all of this sounds good move in here and get your money taken
Me and my roommate went to this location and were helped by Margaret, she was amazing every step of the way and made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. She recommended a bundle of moving supplies we did not know existed which made our transition even smoother. Please give this woman a raise, will definitely be recommending all my friends to come here and asking for her :)

Taylor helped me out with the key code outages they were having a little while back. Before he helped me though he helped a pretty impossible guest over the phone. While Taylor was helping me, I could hear Margaret cracking up the customers down the counter which got me cracking up too. Fast and easy in and out for moving
Super clean facility and nice multitasking staff. I'm surprised there isn't more than one bathroom and it's not marked well. If you need it, it's located in the middle loading zone, unmarked. There's signs around the building that point to its direction, but nothing that actually says you've found it. Also, with only 2 other people loading stuff and using both carts, there were no other carts available. Seems like a small cost to have plenty around. So if you need one and don't see one, you may need to look harder. Otherwise, (I'll say it again) the facility tis really clean.!!
This was my first time renting at Public Storage and Jazz and Rafael were absolutely incredible. Rafael went above and beyond with the rental process for me and made it very easy for me to understand. I was so grateful for his help. Jazz gave me incredible customer service and even walked me to my unit. She was very enthusiastic and had a great attitude. If I could give more stars, I would give 10 stars! I was just going into the location to secure my storage unit. Little did I know that Public Storage had hired the absolute best customer representative in history: Rafael. Rafael is the perfect employee; he is professional, courteous, and all around a great person. You can tell he really cares about Public Storage's clients. Solely based on my interaction with Rafael, I have recommended Public Storage to 5 of my friends just because of how exceptional it is. They say moving is one of the most stressful things you can do in life but everyone of this facility has been really kind and helpful. stress-reducers. I want to shine a special light on Miriam who goes above and beyond customer service.
Cheyenne is great! She was professional and made sure all our needs were met. We originally got a unit but it was smaller than we needed so we decided to upgrade the next day. She helped us thru the process and made sure we were still able to get the online special that was being offered at the time by making sure we followed the necessary online steps. She really helped and went above and beyond. A++

was 67./ 115 2022 that's a double my money in 3 years my problem is my stuff was auctioned off and they didn't put my pictures and important paperwork in the office for 30 days like they're supposed to and still billed me 278 when they sold it for whatever they wanted it could have been in people that buy from storage places it's wrong it's not a good job to do other people's hardships basically taking all their belongings
I do not like here. The small units are too high up. Very unsafe if you have anything heavy. They also charge you for unnecessary things, like a reservation fee (and they don’t tell you you’re going to be charged) and no refund if you move out in the middle of the month. My storage unit I moved from was not like this & the one I’m moving to is not like this. The customer service is not that great either.

This is just ridiculous! Our storage price in 6 months went up by $150! No warning nothing! I am out of this storage as soon as I find something in the area

Its been 6 months Since I rented a storage building and i paid for 3 months in advanceI but only used my storage building for one month and it's been six months I still can't get my money back. I have never witnessed such incompetence ever!!!

If I could I'd give this place Zero stars ... Seriously. What is up with this place. Literal Nightmare. I moved out to extra space, so much better. Literally night & day difference. I can't believe I spent over 7 months here. Bc I work 6 days a week it was so difficult to move out any sooner. I have not been able to get in touch with any supervisors or Regional managers, no Coorporate. No assistance at all & they truly act like they don't care! All other facilities & their former employees agree on how inconsistent their customer service is, how low their values are & their how highly their duties are lacking.
It's a standard self storage place, climate controlled but still kinda stuffy to be moving a lot of stuff in and out of. Plenty of parking.
Security at 100% I recommend the place.

Lost a bag here. I’m not sure whether it was stolen but it just disappeared when I checked my storage space and moved out my stuffs. I don’t think this place is secure enough and won’t choose it again.
