I came all the way from Van Nuys to pay for auction unit at this location and Cindy was kind enough to take time out of her lunch to help us out. We arrived as soon as she was going on lunch but she insisted on helping up. 10/10 costumer service.

I was advertised a 10x10 storage space starting at 75$ a month and if I'm not mistaken the advertisement indicated that the price of unit would not go up and remain at the price as part of a holiday sale. In the time that I have had the unit the price has gone up to $190.00 monthly. More than doubled.
Not only was I not notified of the price increase when I asked the front desk if there would be any benefit to downsize I was told that there wasn't.
I would have never purchased the unit if I would have known I was going to be paying more than double the amount advertised. I knew storage units were a rip off but this is absurd.
I cancelled autopay and unfortunately will have to pay another 190$ on 03/01. I should have cancelled months ago when I inquired.

Typical Public Storage first of all the number of large vehicles that block other vehicles from being able to pull out of their spot is absolutely ridiculous
I haven’t been able to pull out in three months
Mind you it’s a tiny little parking spot and they’re now charging me $277 for a spot. I can’t even use. I have large jobs that I’ve had to cancel recently. They keep putting these very large vehicles that stick way out into the street where other vehicles are then blocked in and this keeps happening
I don’t know about their actual storage, but if you want a parking spot, good luck it’s absolute

I paid a visit to this specific location after it being recommended by a family member. I had a terrible experience at the location in Orange. I decided to come and give Public Storage a second chance. I was greeted by gabby and explained my experience she was so carring and thoughtful she did everything to make things right the second time around. Very disappointed I don’t cause problems I just wanted to move my stuff out But I work a job like most people 9:30 am to 6:00 pm and they lock there gates at 6:00pm so I asked the girl Gabby about an extra hour code she got smart with me! I am extremely grateful for the storage expertise and support I received from Gabby at the Public Storage facility at 17792 Cowan, Irvine, CA, 92614, USA. I was moving from Jackson Hole, Wyoming, back to Orange County, California, on extremely short notice in peak relocation season. I wasn't expecting to move back to SoCal so soon, and I had leased out my home near John Wayne Airport. Gabby understood my unfortunate situation and my personal and professional worries. She helped me reserve two extremely rare and oversized units so I could put everything in storage and make it reasonably accessible while searching for a temporary place to live. Gabby's empathy and professionalism left me feeling wonderful about Public Storage as a company. I can't say enough about how helpful she was.

I have used this location for a couple of months, and all the staff here are so kind. I often see them checking and cleaning the storage units. Especially Gabby and Sergo, who helped me a lot when I was moving in. The units are clean and easy to access. I highly recommend this place if anyone needs a storage unit in this area.

Our storage space was broken into. 3 pieces of luggage were stolen. 1 piece of luggage was ripped open & all clothes were lying scattered. Boxes were broken into & damaged.
Got to know that There is no sensor to track when door was opened as was requested by Irvine PD. The lock was not broken, which again left us amazed.
Also 1 of the associates named Cristina was extremely rude, unprofessional & seems like she hates Indians. She was not willing to listen & was very unfair in her dealing.
All other associates were very professional & helpful.
We sincerely hope the culprit is brought to justice as its all very stressful & particularly some of the items were priceless memories.
The insurance claim is again a long process (even though we have been paying for it the last 3 yrs)

They close way to early 5/6 pm. Very unconvenient makes it hard to grab items out of storage. I was having issues with the app where it wasn't letting my payments go through. Called and found out you can not do a payment over the phone, but instead, you have to go personally and make the payment. Very confusing process all throughout. They don't even have a cart of some sort to help move some items around. 🙄

David offered great costumer service, however there is only one Cart for usage & that’s a major inconvenience. Also wish the unit sizing was accurate, we measured the unit and it’s measurements are not accurate in comparison to other Public Storage facilities.

Horrible company to rent with!
There is no one at the property to help me when I visit, and when I call to try to talk to somebody at the property, I get sent to voice mail and get no call backs. I even try to call customer service to help me with my rental increase and all I get is rejection after rejection with no sympathy of what is going on in my life and how I can barely pay what I'm paying now.
It's bad enough that I already OVER PAY for the unit that I'm renting now by $200 ($300 with the rent increase) when I can just move into the same unit, for the same size, right next to me.
Why would you increase my rental when nothing has changed to improve the facility? There's no one in the office for me to speak to on the property, no security or safety measures in place to secure everyone's belongings, and now I have to pay more for less? This is ridiculous.

This storage facility is super clean and in a very safe area. I forgot my keys (or so I thought I did) when I went to move out. Bryanna did everything she could to help me fix the issue. She was incredibly kind and helpful and I appreciate all she did. She went above and beyond! Thank you Bryanna!!!

The Public storage on Cowan is the utmost worst. Our bill went from approx $180 a month to $400 a month. I need to transfer the unit ownership over to another and have been given the complete run around. I was told by one employee that it was impossible to do. Then I was told by another that whoever told me no, was being lazy. I show up with the other person to do the transfer and of course the office person decided to leave without leaving any type of notice on the door as when they can be expected back. What a waste of my time. I left a message and received a call back 40 minutes later. I show up yet again to transfer the account only to be told that the new owner would be billed twice if we transfer today. I am beyond irate. I have been there multiple times since December with no resolution.

We get an email stating "As a benefit to our customers, we routinely do the rounds to make sure each space is properly locked. During our recent inspection, we found that Space XXXX was unlocked or improperly locked. Unfortunately, we can’t lock your space for you. Please come to the property as soon as possible to secure your lock — and everything you’ve stored in your space."
We arrive 30 mins later to see they have in fact locked us out of our unit... cancelling immediately.
I got a perfect storage space for my needs thanks to Brianna’s professional and friendly service! Lease terms are also competitive.

Just 2 months they change the rent from $355 to 442 USD. not good for long term corporations. I have to find a bigger warehouse and never rent public storage as my warehouse

She was very polite, helpful, and knowledgeable. She showed me the perfect size unit that I needed and the paperwork was quick and easy. Its a nice place and the staff is friendly.....the only thing I do not like is the hours which is 930am to 6 I wish I would have payed more attention to the hours before I moved my things in its hard to make it there after work when I get off at 5pm But other than that its great.

Got a storage unit over the weekend from Susana Oliver (floating manager). First of all, when she called to set up a time to meet, she was so nice and knowledgeable. I told her I’d come in later that evening and called to confirm that I’ll be there. She was pleasant, professional and even brought over the moving cart they have so that I can load everything in one shot. She had to get it from the other side of the storage buildings and did with a huge smile. The next day I had to come back to bring more stuff. I told her I’d be there in the evening as well. She went out of her way to call me and make sure I make it in because they closed at 5pm on Sunday. I was going to show up at 5! That was so nice of her. If she hadn’t done that, I would’ve had to wait until the following weekend to bring the rest of our stuff. When I came in on Sunday, I asked to swap my unit for another since the lock latch was kind of messed up on the first one I had reserved. She did it, no problem. She also brought the cart AGAIN for us. She was kind, professional, knowledgeable and I really enjoyed the whole experience. Especially because, when you are coming to a storage unit, you’re usually spring cleaning or organizing, and really tired. It’s usually the last step you take right before your project is done. She made everything so easy. Thank you so much Susana.
