Our dedicated Loss Prevention professionals work behind the scenes every day to help reduce risk across our properties. Their responsibilities include fraud prevention, investigations, security technology management, risk analysis, and partnerships with local, regional, and national law enforcement agencies.
Lighting & Visibility
Well-lit storage facilities make it easier for customers to access their storage units while improving visibility throughout the property, especially during early morning or evening visits. Good lighting also helps staff and video surveillance systems monitor common areas more effectively and can discourage unwanted activity in darker spaces.
Perimeter Fencing
Perimeter fencing helps define the property boundary and direct access through designated entry points. When combined with features such as electronic gate access, video surveillance, and on-site management, perimeter fencing adds another layer to a facility's overall security program.
Video Surveillance
Video surveillance systems help monitor activity throughout a storage facility, including common areas such as entrances, exits, drive aisles, and other shared spaces. Cameras can support incident investigations, help deter unauthorized activity, and provide an additional layer of visibility across the property.

Electronic Gate Access
Many of our locations use electronic gate access to help manage who enters and exits the property during designated access hours. Customers are typically assigned a unique access code, allowing only authorized individuals to enter the property. Controlled entry helps limit unauthorized access while providing a record of gate activity. Availability varies by location.
