Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 55 Harker Ave, Berlin, NJ

It's a clean and safe place to store things. The personnel is very helpful. The gate app doesn't always work. It's a huge hassle to move everything into a new unit every time the rent increases, which is every 6 months. I wish I didn't need a unit, but here I am.

Speaking specifically about 55 Harker Ave, since this is the 1st time in life I've ever rented a storage unit...this place set the bar high. Friendly and helpful staff, clean facility, easy process to rent unit, and let's not forget about the online rate specials. None of the other Public Storage in my area could think about matching or beating the deal I got, not even mentioning other storage brands who's rates are through the roof. It's not the closest location to my home, but close enough where I don't mind the 15 minute drive. 10 out of 10 recommend 55 Harker Ave Berlin NJ location!!

I was a Public Storage in Berlin again today. I am new to this unit. I was very very satisfied, Theodosia is unbelievably off the charts as usual. We need more people like them in this world.

Public storage is by far the best storage unit around here because all the other ones are crap. 55 Harker in Berlin, NJ is very clean inside the office and clean units outside as well. I was in there today to rent a big unit and was greatly assisted by Theodosia! Very knowledgeable & helpful, was also very kind to us and a great help! I was able to rent a 10 X 20 unit located outside on the side of the building. Gate codes and locks are great and easy to use. This place cares about their customers and their experience for sure! I'm more at ease knowing that there is cameras everywhere and that my belongings are secure. I highly recommend you try Public Storage!! I would give it 10 out of 10 if I could!!

The indoor garage was fine, however, I am disappointed that my rent increased dramatically after I moved in. 4 increases over 4 years brought my total monthly cost from $172.00/mo. to $325.00/mo. It forced me to end this rental. I also wish they would install adequate lighting in the units. There is one light bulb in the front of the unit to illuminate a 32 1/2 x 10' garage. It needs overhead fluorescent lighting in the front and back of the garage. The employees are very nice and help when they can.

I worked with Leah today and she was amazing. So friendly, polite and knowledgeable. She made the whole experience of renting a space so easy and enjoyable. Make sure to work with Leah!

Kaya was friendly and helpful and made sure we were able to use the lock and were satisfied with the unit we reserved online. The office and unit areas were/are clean. The climate controlled units indoors were a good temp and I feel confident leaving my belongings there.

Very efficient, plus they have loading carts and an elevator. Only thing is, it's a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. I recommend them.

I recently visited several storage centers for my upcoming move. I have been greeted with professionalism by all the staff I had the opportunity to interact with. Each location was spotless and I even pulled up to see 2 employees cleaning and I'm confident my belongings will be safe.

I hated this place dont move your stuff there when i moved my things they tried to say i still owed them and i move out on the 28-29 of the month

Rates consistently rise. Bathrooms locked even though staff is present. Staff is friendly however . Company and their constant rate hikes ruin it for me.. Go elsewhere!

Clean building and great customer service

The only thing I didn't like was the price changed in five months after I rented the space. I was paying 150.00 when I signed up for a space and then 5 months later it went up to 203.73, that I was very upset with. I wasn't told this at the time of renting the space.

Clean. Climate controlled. I loved that the entire rental process can be done online so I don't have to go to the front desk. In person rental is also available. Use bluebtooth or pin to enter and exit.

Great staff. Locks cylinders are hard to use. A bit pricey.

Dmitri was pleasant when I came in to inquire about boxes. He was so helpful and the office is very clean and organized. I will be back when I need to buy some boxes😊

The front elevator has been out of order for over a week. Signage refers to the back lobby elevator - You need to enter your entry code on the side gate and drive around to the side entrance. You need to enter your code again to leave thru the front gate.

The customer service at this location is phenomenal.With this being mentioned, I had the pleasure of being assisted by Melanie. She was extremely patient, informative and very professional. She assisted me in terms of making my moving transition run very smoothly and stress free. She is a true asset to the company and I will continue to network about my customer service experience with her.

So here goes, something I meant to post in July 2021 with highest commendation for Brittany, Alicia, and Regina, and below it a new commendation for Kaitlyn .... ,This facility is fabulous for so many reasons, chief among them the employees. Brittany is incredibly and proactively helpful, even calling me to follow up on my request to ensure that I was getting the service I needed! She is professional, knowledgeable, helpful, cheerful, upbeat, kind, and an absolute joy to work with. Alicia too was so eager to help when I called and she answered. Alicia's deep knowledge of the facility and policies enabled her to address my questions fully, and she used her knowledge to go beyond the scope of my question to help me more than I thought possible! Also, I needed paperwork from District Manager Regina and Regina sent me the paperwork that very day. That level of customer service is so rare and so valuable. The facility is clean, well-maintained, well-lit, secure, and easy to navigate. But truly, the staff here make it such a special place ... honestly, it feels like Brittany and her team will go to great lengths to help customers and ensure their satisfaction. I honestly cannot speak sufficiently highly of her and her team! Now, today, I spoke with Kaitlyn about another issue. She too was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, courteous, and proactive, and deserving of the highest commendation. She actually reached out to me proactively, calling me, because I had mistakenly disabled my auto pay when changing credit cards. She wanted to ensure I knew this occurred so that I could enable auto pay again and avoid a late fee. Wow. I've never been the beneficiary of such a high level of customer service! I'm so impressed with the Public Storage facility, its employees, its customer service, cleanliness, and high security. Kaitlyn is a professional who truly cares about the well being of her customers and works to maintain the high standards this facility has. I am so grateful to her and to her colleagues.

Came in today looking to get a 10×20 or 10×30. Dmitri helped me so much as they didn't have any at this location but he went above and beyond to find one in turnersville with Nicolesw have setup to have myself rent a 10x20 there. Both went over my expectations to assist with needs.

Dmitri has been extremely helpful anytime I have any issues. Has been very courteous, knowledgeable of ways to assist with any problems I have had and any help that I have needed.

Every time I walk into the Berlin facility I am always warmly greeted by Kaitlyn. She is warm and bubbly and always willing to make sure everything is right with your unit. She goes above and beyond to help out the renters and she knows her stuff.

We worked with Melanie at the Harker Ave. location to get a unit when it seemed like all units everywhere were occupied. I am so glad we did! She is such a kind woman and she was able to get us a unit for a great value! It might be more convenient for some people to handle these things online through a mobile app, and though the platform is user friendly, Melanie’s assistance, excellent communication and kindness gave this rental experience the human touch that is lacking from so many interactions these days. The facility and our unit are both clean and well lit, the elevator is a smooth ride, and the lock is easy to use. Overall, I would highly recommend this company and location.

Kaitlyn was extremely helpful with getting me setup with a new unit and I really appreciated her professional and kind demeanor. The space itself is in excellent condition and is one of the best places I've rented space from. It also has an elevator, which makes for a much easier moving process.
