Bucktown Storage Units Near Kennedy Expressway

The Public Storage worker was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the process easy. The facility was clean and secure. Highly recommend!
The property manager Tiffany is very rude and disrespectful, The property has rats and they walk a big pitbull off of the leash from the apartment which is very unsafe for the customers. My property was ruined by rat urine and feces and Tiffany was very rude and unhelpful about it. I store at many locations but this is by far the worst.

I strongly recommend not to use. My family photos and records were water-damaged when an unprotected sprinkler line broke. I got a notice from them while on vacation. The company takes no responsibility. As I was moving my precious wet things out, another user was complaining about rat feces. Be aware that anything you store there is subject to damage and if that happens, no one will help you.

She asked me a few questions about what and how much I was moving, and helped me figure out how many boxes I really needed. I would have been severely under prepared if it wasn't for her. This stoarage facility is fantastic. Very clean, organized, super easy to access (both in person), plus the app/online experience is great. Best of all is the sweet, kind, helpful Tiffany who runs the front office. She's such a pleasure to work with, always smiling and willing to assist. After signing up via phone and given an access code, I was unable to access my space. They failed to tell me access is closed after 6pm.

This place is extremely over priced not only did I get my rent for storage up'd twice in not even a year, this place is always changing policies to add on more fees and they are very ridiculous, once you are late 6 days you are no longer able to access your unit as they hold your stuff hostage as if life doesn't happen. I would never recommend nor come back to this place. They love to milk customer pockets!

Do not store your belongings here. When I moved out after a year and a half I unpacked my items to find them totally ruined by water damage. No one at Public Storage will address the issue. Their only response is to take it up with my insurance. The items are gross and moldy. I was paying over $160 a month to “safely” store my things. So upsetting. I wasted so much money renting a space at this location only to find out they were getting destroyed for months.

The facility is clean and accessible BUT the management could better their communication.
I rented a unit for 3 months last year July to October and in September due to heavy rain the basement flooded but I never received any calls, messages, or email until 2 weeks after the flood. I received an email stating my unit could potentially be affected by the flood and I should come by to check it.
2 weeks! By the time I got there - my clothes were molded, my furniture had water damage , woods split, metals rusted,everything was MOLDED to no saving.
It happened back in September 2022 and just now in April 2023, I JUST FINALLY SETTLED MY INSURANCE CLAIM.
Please work on your communication! People could have their livelihood in your units and even reaching out a day early can help!!

From the moment I walked in, Tiffany greeted me with a warm smile and a friendly demeanor. She listened attentively to my concerns and questions, and took the time to explain all of the options available to me in a clear and concise manner.
Tiffany was patient and understanding throughout the entire process, and made sure that I was completely satisfied with my storage unit before I left. She even followed up with me a few days later to see how everything was going and to make sure that I didn't have any additional questions or concerns.

Never thought I'd write a rave review for a storage center but this place rocks. Tiffany the property manager is a superstar and went above and beyond to help us out in a pinch and truly saved the day for our move. The facility was well kept and easy to navigate. Prices for city storage also seem very reasonable. I highly recommend this storage location if you're near the area.
