I recently vacated my unit after 15 years. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I opened up boxes, bags, etc after all this time. I was pleasantly surprised to find not one bug or rodent and creeped into my belongings. I had a variety of items in my unit including pictures, clothes, documents and electronic equipment. The property is very clean and the gentleman who helped me on my last day was very helpful. I highly recommend utilizing this property. 15 years is a long time to store items and to receive those items back without any issues is a huge win for anyone.
I'd like to Thank Manish, a staff member at Public Storage for his professionalism, his courteousness, and his friendliness in addressing a serious matter at my unit. A tree limb had fallen on my unit, and I couldn't get my car out. Manish promptly addressed the situation, and he moved the tree limb, which was in two, and on top of my unit and on the ground.. and he promptly got me into a new unit and did it with utmost professionalism. My experience with him was very pleasant, and he helped me out above and beyond the call of duty. With people like him I will remain a unit holding member of public storage for many years to come. I was in a bind and accidentally reserved a unit at a diff location …I came in explained my situation and AUDREY assisted me in not only acquiring a unit at the Grant Ave location BUT ALSO “moving out/canceling “ the unit I accidentally reserved .AND THENNNN in my ridiculousness I was unable to open the door to the new unit , one phone call to AUDREY she said “no problem I’m coming!!” And in seconds was at the unit and opened and explained to me how to open it etc … AUDREYs professionalism and kindness seriously has helped me in an extremely stressful time in my life!! I honestly am so grateful that there is someone working here who CLEARLY is an asset because she not only was extremely professional in explaining all of my options and insurance options etc she was super nice!!! My wife and I rented and started to fill a locker on July 3. On July 4, when we returned to add more things to the locker, there was a problem with the locker. Fortunately for us, Ron was on duty even on Independence Day. Without his help, we would have been making two round trips home to take back what we brought that day and what we'd already put into the locker the day before.
While we did need to move our stuff to a different locker, that time was certainly better spent than if we'd been taking everything back home.
Our experience with Ron was so positive that today we brought over a family member so he could get his own locker at Public Storage. Ron was there to handle the paperwork, show the locker, and explain all that's involved.
The problem that necessitated moving from our first locker to the second appears to have been fixed.

When I first got there I thought “cool, an outside storage”. I parked and walked into the office and the smell that slapped me across my face was crazy! I went back to my car and got some spray… anyways a young man with dirty blonde hair helped me, pretty sure he was the manager and he was awesome! Super helpful and so sweet and patient. He helped me get the best deal and answered all my questions. He even stayed a later at the storage to make sure me and another customer was good. Good place, good management, I recommend also because it was the cheapest storage I found in Philly that was clean and had remote/code access late
