Don't rent from this location I have documents stating I started renting my unit on 04/07/23 at a price of $156.00 dollars. the price went up to $215 to $256 to $288 and I received a email recently saying that my new monthly rent fee will be $366 dollars on 01/01/25. I was never a poor tenant to the public storage unit And always respected there grounds. Today(12/6/24) a representative called me telling my "auto pay payment didn't go through" so I said okay and hung up just to call back four minutes later to make an inquiry on why they sent me a email saying "thank you for your successful payment on 12/2/24". Due to the fraudulent Email it threw off my finances and now I have to barrow a couple bucks from my girl friend but that's fine, I'm not poverty stricken by any means. but the representative didn't answer noir did I receive a call back. They never answer the phone. Also I looked up units the same size as mine online on there website and there renting them for $137. Which I ensure they'll more then likely find some elder person who can't move there belongs out of the storage unit when the monthly price Is equivalent to a 30 year mortgage on a $100,000 dollar property and the consumer will either end up losing there belongs or lose there savings on something as simple as a storage unit.
My storage unit was recently broken into, and I lost thousands of dollars in belongings, including irreplaceable personal items.
When I reported the break-in, the manager was dismissive and showed no concern. I later found out from the police that multiple units were burglarized on November 4th, but I never received any notification from the facility. This is unacceptable...
The security here is seriously lacking. The drywall covering the units can be easily pulled up, allowing access between them. Despite this obvious flaw, I wasn’t given access to any security footage or additional support from the staff.
I’d recommend staying away from this location. Public Storage needs to improve both their security and customer service. I lost a lot of important things that are irreplaceable, I hope I can save someone else from having their stuff stolen.
I had a recent issue with my unit and was helped by Jaydah, she was extremely helpful and fixed my situation within minutes without hesitation- I went in later that week to check and had Olivia help me to confirm all was good- These two woman made me feel at ease and I wanted to thank them- They went above and beyond, stayed late to assist me in time of need.

Rates start off great for new customers, but then increases! Ridiculous price increase! Won't ever use them again when I finally get all of my things out! With the rate I'm paying now, you would think they are a Climate controlled storage facility!

We were so pleased with Danica’s level of customer service. She was very kind, patient, and helpful. She wanted to help us find the best storage even if it was at another location. She wasn’t rude and didn’t rush us. I recommend others to rent with her!
Management needs to authorize repairs. Staff is helpful but lots of disconnects from corporate promotions and efforts. Requires lots of customer effort to maintain a quality experience.

Unfortunately the prices automatically go up every six months. I started out with a monthly fee of well under $200 month for a 10x30 and three years later they are trying to bill me over $500 a month. I feel that this is an unfair practice. You have to basically rent another space in order to start over at the original lower rate, which involves moving everything out and into another space.
I don't normally post reviews, but I feel like I had to. My mom and I just rented a space, the move in date was yesterday (thankfully, we rented this space early, as we just naturally anticipate problems). Yesterday, we showed up and the first space's door was broken. We went to the office, and they set us up with another space. We left for a while, and came back to check out the second space. The light bulb didn't work, I went to the store and bought a lightbulb (I wanted a super bright one anyway), and still nothing. It has an electrical issue. We went back to the office, after 6 (closing), it was probably 6 30, but they unlocked the door and spoke with us anyway. They said come back tomorrow and file a work order. Okay. We did that. The next day, we came back, and we told her the situation. She said she had a third unit. We checked it out, and it was on a hill, and had a 1' ledge that I wouldn't be able to roll a heavy toolbox into it. She said that's all of our available spaces in my size at the location. There was another location down the road, and she gave us temporary permission to enter and gave us a list of empty spaces to check out, and we could pick the best one that fit our needs. I probably looked at 7 additional spaces and found one that I was very happy with. I was able to rent the one that I wanted, and couldn't be happier! I know that we are very picky customers. I'm sure most customers would not be as picky as we were. But I wanted to give a shout out to Danika in the office because I feel like she really went the extra mile for us and made sure we were happy customers. And even the girls in the office the day before (I didn't catch their names) were very help full. Thank you to the team in the office for helping us, the incredibly needy customers. I really hope you all get recognized for the amazing service that you have provided.

This place has made a stressful move even worse. The property manager is never on site, doesn’t answer the phone, return messages, and does not show up for meetings. On 7/9 could not access my unit originally assigned because it was locked. On 7/10 Customer service transferred me to another unit and assured that I would not be billed for the original unit - I am continuing to be charged for the original unit (2 total). This has been over a month of back and forth to verify that the unit is vacant - the district manager has done nothing to resolve this issue and the only people who I can speak to (agents) cannot do anything further except send messages to the property and district manager to close out this account. This is beyond ridiculous and a huge waste of my time - they are attempting to charge a late fee for a unit I’ve never been able to access or use. All of the calls and messages are able to be read by all public storage agents and managers and they still can’t seem to get this resolved? Get it together public storage and maybe try to be on site and manage the property - it would save customers a lot of time and frustration.

This place has been here for a while, and still the best location for drive up unit access. Sweet blue tooth turnstile gate (like a Rail Road crossing). And most of all, Kim the awesome property manager that handles your needs in seconds.....not hours, and applies all discounts and promotions to make it one of the less expensive options in the Quail/Pineville south Metro. thanks Kim. 5 stars
Kim is the property manager here at Public Storage. I have worked with Kim for 6 months. I have rented three units to accommodate my move to Charlotte. Kim has been so wonderful. She has gone out of her way to help me make this transition. She has been instrumental in helping me make this move. She is very professional and has been willing to help me.
I always look forward to seeing her because of her kindness & positive personality.
