I don't leave reviews for anything, but I strongly recommend you look somewhere else for your storage needs.
I stored a boat in one of their large units for a little bit more than a year. They raised my rent numerous times with the absolute minimum notice required, more than doubling what my original rent was. They send the rent increase notices within 7 days of the next months rent due date. This makes it really difficult to just cancel and move somewhere else because you'd be paying for two storage units at the same time.
As if this wasn't enough. They randomly canceled my unit without notifying me just 5 days after I paid for the entire month. As I said earlier, I store a boat. I took the boat out of storage for a few days and when I went back I found out the my code for the security gate no longer works. I find out later that day that my unit was cancelled due to being empty. They know I store a boat and this cancellation was to maximize profit. They are refusing to refund my money.
This place is run by crooks, do not rent from them.
Joe took care of every detail. He was pleasant and professional. He turned a stressful day into a good one.
The team and ROSEMOUNT do a great job of helping you get set up with a unit showing you the ropes et al quickly. Great clean facility high security and right near the cop shop ;-)
Very nice storage facility with good service. They have treated me well over the last two years.
Joseph was very helpful and got me a unit quickly!
The office hours posted are inaccurate. I called the day before a move-in three times to schedule an appointment with no answer. I showed up the day I was scheduled to move in at 10am, well after the office is supposed to be open. Not only was nobody working and the building was locked, but when I called a manager for another Rosemount facility, he told me that there was nobody scheduled to work there until 1:30, 4 hours after they are supposed to be open. After coming back and getting moved in at 1:30 that day, I was called the following day saying they had missed a form, that I needed to come by to sign another form within an hour and a half before the other employee left at noon (the office is supposed to be open until 6 on weekends).
Additionally, the company is advertising 5x10' storage units for $45 per month on their website, $50 if you call ahead. I know someone storing there with a 5x10' unit who is being charged over $150 per month, and when he and I talked to customer service, they said they could not bump his rate down; he would have to physically move to ANOTHER open 5x10 space within the building to get a new rate, rather than just cut the rate, and blamed "corporate decision-making" for the "inconvenience".
Poor customer service, inconstant and unreliable hours, and wildly inappropriate billing. Save your money and energy and find another place.
Would not recommend. Moved in from out of state. Reserved unit well in advance. Talked and/or left messages with manager on phone 3 times beforehand. Had to schedule an appt for my move in and was told there would be no one there otherwise. 5 mins out from this place, they call and tell me my unit has been rented out from under me. The only one available was significantly more expensive (of course), and since I’d just driven several hundred miles with no other options, I was stuck. I was given the district manager’s number to address my concerns. I have called 3 times in the last two weeks and still no response or call back. Unless you’re a local who can come in person, or a regular, don’t bother with this business. For what they charge, and the shady bait and switch, you’d be better off with another storage provider.
I would like to call out Joseph at the Rosemount Public Storage for outstanding customer service! He noticed wasps near my unit & called to alert me to the situation as he was concerned there might be nests in my unit. I stopped over & Joseph accompanied me to my unit to check it out. Fortunately there weren’t any nests in my unit. I really appreciated Joseph being proactive in this situation!
Public is great nice and clean. And last weekend I forgot to lock my unit up and they called me an hour after I left. I forgot his name but he was awesome. Thank you again. I hope I don’t have to move again but if I do I know who to call. I went back today to get anther unit and found out hi name is Joseph. He was really helpful today also. When I look for a business to spend my money it’s the person at the counter seals the deal. Ask for Joseph and he will take great care of you. It way the units are taking care of I don’t doubt the rest of the employees are great also.
The PCS was very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. He took care of our situation in little time. Very pleased with our experience.
Great customer service. Fast and convenient.
Easy to sign up - horrible to try and close rental agreement. Local manager is not onsite and does not return phone calls.
Great service. Thank you!
Wow! What a great experience with this storage place. The enrollment and move-in process was incredibly smooth and transparent. They do require that you buy a lock and insurance but it is all very reasonable and straight-forward.
At one point I didn't secure my lock correctly and they were quick to call me to let me know so that I could go and put the lock on right to secure my locker. The access to the unit was easy and everything went smoothly, including checking out, which was very simple. Highly recommend this place!
I had this very heavy toolbox and one of the workers Joseph came over and help me with it I thought that was awesome
Ben did a fab job of navigating all the process
Don't waste your money renting a unit here, if you leave in the middle of the month, they DO NOT PRO-RATE, if you ask for any money refunded you're not going to get it, I wouldn't recommend public storage.
The managers Carla and Ray have been very helpful, if you run into any problems, contact them and they will get you squared away. Very pleased with them.
The prices are good if you're looking short term. They increase 20% each year. Every August without fail. The space is clean and driving in is easy. Some doors you can get your own licks but others you have to buy the bolt from them. If it breaks or they cut it off for whatever reason, you have to buy a new one. Pretty sure I own my unit with how much I've paid. Would love if they valued their customers. The unit is elevated a couple inches and has stayed dry so far which is great.
When I used to see humans working there, they were nice. It's not a very secure property with gates being unlocked and left open.
I reserved a unit specifically to store a vehicle (I was 100% clear that we needed a 10x20, climate controlled indoor unit for a vehicle and our reservation receipt reflects this). We scheduled an appointment for 4 October to meet the site manager and view the unit. No one was in the office, she was 45 minutes late for the meeting, rude and unapologetic. The attitude was very much 'so what?'... well lady, time is money and you wasted mine. Turned out there were no indoor units for vehicles (?!) but there was an outdoor bay available (Obviously NOT climate controlled) And when I called and complained to Customer Service about time wasted having driven over 100 miles to view it, I was told that the Customer Service Manager (Mike... Mark?) Would call me. I never did receive a call. You guys seriously need to sharpen your pencil and up your game. That's what I call pathetic service all round.
Love the service, very clean, safe and secure!
Great place to store our church supplies
