Last night. My sister had to drop something off really fast and was done at 6:04 . And the manager was still there. The main gate closes at 6. And the manager just watched them not be able to leave and drove off. The other day it was closed at 5:30 . When the main gate said it was open until 6. This is one of the shittiest storage units in la. And I've been renting storage units for 7 years. Extra space storage is way better if you can find one.

Worst experience I've had with a storage facility. I reserved my unit online, but you have to go in the store to finalize before you can access the unit. Over a period of five days past the day that my storage was supposed to start, I visited the facility three different times during business hours (all different times - once around 3pm, once around noon, once at 9:30am), and no staff was present any time, doors were locked with no signs and no one visible inside. I tried calling about a dozen times. Even trying to get the direct number is sort of a challenge because the number listed everywhere just goes to a corporate bot line. I left messages no one returned. I finally got a hold of corporate, who told me all they could do was schedule an appointment with the property manager, so I did that. I showed up at 9am for my scheduled appointment, and again no one was present, and no one ever came. No one answered the phone when I called. I called the corporate customer service line again and finally just canceled my unit, six days after my rental was supposed to start without EVER having had access to the unit or been able to speak with anyone on site. I asked them to elevate my complaint because I felt someone should know this business is not being manned or operated at all. (Also - all of the times I came by, I saw multiple people try and get in also being confused by the locked doors and absence of staff, and also saw people putting a cart in the locked door to prop it open an leaving for long periods of time, so not sure how secure the facility even is). Low and behold, once I had my complaint escalated to the district manager, about an hour later I finally receive a call from the facility staff. They said they sometimes "step out" to "help the business next door". All in all i spent a few hours sitting in their parking lots, so I wouldn't consider that "stepping out," also that's just shady. The guy on the phone then said he would be around to meet with me if I came by after 2pm. At this point, it was 10AM and I had already been there since 9 waiting for my appointment to show up and then sitting on the phone with customer service. Their business hours are 9-6. You telling me you gotta "step out" for five hours of your 9 hour workday? Unprofessional as hell, took my money for nothing, wouldn't recommend and wouldn't go back. It's hard to get a real person on the phone from the bot line too. I switched to A1 storage in Glendale and have had a great experience there so far.

online says that its a 5x5 closet like storage unit. Once I saw it it was a locker unit above ground and only to be reached by a latter. Asked for help and the only solution was for them to close out the account and keep the money. No accountability from management team.

They just close whenever they feel like it, regardless of what their hours are supposed to be. I've come multiple times during business hours and they are completely closed. No one ever answers the phone and they have units like all over the ceiling so that sometimes your unit has to be reached by a ladder. All the units are weird shaped or fifteen feet up on top of other units. It's a terrible janky storage facility that is super confusing and falling apart and don't waste your money. Idk who all these fantastic workers are but I met two of them and one was super nice but the other acted like she was mute or something and didn't help at all even after watching me struggle to find my unit and operate the 900 year old elevator. And they're super overpriced. Not the price advertised online either.

This review is for Jose (manager) only! He himself does this place way better. He is very helpful, understanding and professional. The previous manager that I met there was terribly annoyed that I came just to check out the unit at 5.45 pm (yes, I was late but I needed just to take a look and 15 minutes is more than enough). Anyway Jose takes all the stars!

Jose was extremely helpful and incredibly kind to help me out today. He went above and beyond his way and genuinely helped with a smile on his face. Honestly, I would store my belongings in this specific location just because of how kind he was to me!!! I will be back next time! Public storage is one of the best storage out there without a doubt!!!

Jose was really helpful & proactive! Last week, he called back when I just booked the unit so I can complete my booking / rent online… otherwise, someone else would’ve taken it. Afterwards, i was unsure what it’s going to look like in-person, so i came in to check it out myself. Jose suggested my unit might be too small for what i was going for, and he was right…! He showed me my unit and other potential units available that might fit, and I changed immediately! Really helpful customer service!!

Sept 2022: Almost $83 price increase…. Wow it is not even worth the price! For sept 2023: they raised again and I figured they do this every year. Last year my rent with $11 insurance was $364 that’s the price they already increase and now for sept 2023 they will raised again total $401 for a medium space 10x7.5

David assisted me today with my storage rental. He took the time to show me the various storage that’s available. The ones left are little small but this is close to my house. David also took the time to answer all my questions. The. building was nice and clean. The building seemed very secure.

I got a unit here and the experience was excellent. The service we received from the front office was pleasant and painless. I never needed to store our things but recent move has forced to temporarily place my belongings here. Very clean location, which was very important

We got the worst spot. The elevator did not go to our level and I didn't see a disabled ramp. Had to carry heavy items up and down stairs.

Had my stuff here for a few years, always paid on time. They doubled my rent in one year! Went from $260 to $500 in a year. Insanity. The facility is small which is convenient but not very well thought out for moving items in and out.

Rented a 7x10 storage unit and opened it to see that half of it is taken up by a wood structure. Management says no refunds. Talk about false advertising, and we will be filing a claim. Hope this helps someone else - DO NOT RENT A UNIT FROM HERE

This storage facility is really great!!! The staff, specifically, Bianca, at this location, and Pedro, on the phone when I was booking my unit for the 1st time, could not have been more helpful and patient. They answered all of my many questions and concerns and were very responsive to my specific needs. When I went to the location for the 1st time, Bianca took me personally to my storage unit and showed me the easiest way to get to it and a little short cut that I never would have figured out, that make it easier for me to load my stuff into my unit. The customer service was way more fantastic than my jaded self ever expects anymore from any company anywhere. I was also impressed with how clean the facility is. I’ve used other storage places in the past and none of them were as clean as this one is. I would have given them 10 stars if I could!!

Ricardo is very personable and helpful. Move in to the unit was simple. We had some difficulty securing the unit due to miscommunication regarding payment polices between corporate Public Storage and the local Public Storage. After three trips to the facility, everything worked out.

Darlene gets the good guy award from me for being so helpful, informed, and available. She goes way above and beyond. Whatever the reason is one needs a storage unit, it can be stressful. Darlene smoothed way. Thank you.
