Gardena is a conveniently-located city in the South Bay region of California's Los Angeles County. It's close to every major freeway in Los Angeles County and just a short drive south of downtown Los Angeles. The History of Gardena

Archaeologists have found evidence of human activity dating back thousands of years in the area of present-day Gardena. It likely existed as a popular spot for hunting and fishing for the Tongva tribe, and Europeans didn't arrive in the area until the late 1700s.
