I made an appointment at 5 to check sizing on the storage units. Lights where off and when I called all I kept on getting was transfered to answering machines. In the end I ended up getting a unit online that was too big because no one was able to help me in person.

I got there at 5:55pm which is 5 min before they closed. The girl went out of her way to rent me a 5x10 special which was bigger than what I needed. She was polite, and professional even thou she stayed almost 20 mn late. She also walked me to the gate to show me how to get in, then she walked me to the building, up 3 floors to my locker and opened it for me. I would recommend this location to be a preferred choice for storage. Thank you for going the extra mile.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS STORAGE. THEY INCREASE THE RATE EVRY 6 MONTHS AND NOT GIVING YOU ADJUSTMENTS AND CREDITS. NO ONE TOLD US THAT THEY WOULD BE INCREASING THE RATE EVERY 6 MONTHS. I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO SPEAK WITH MARIO (THE ONLY PERSON WHO CARES ABOUT CUSTOMERS) PLEASE BE ADVISED. IT IS VERY INCONVENIENT TO MOVE ALL THE STUFF THAT ALREADY STORED THERE. MAYBE THE ARE COUNTING ON THAT TO KEEP THE CUSTOMERS.

I know I’ve mentioned it before but coming here is a relaxed experience. I’ve worked with other storage facilities before and it was either ordinary or poor quality. But every time I come to my storage Mario always makes the experience welcoming and fun. He seems to remember me every time I come and im sure he does the same for other customers. It really helps having a friendly and knowledgeable worker. The facility is always well maintained and a breeze to go in and out of. I highly recommend this location.

Recently needed help with a lost key & new lock. Excellent help from Mario solving this problem, he was extremely helpful and responsive, really good people skills 🙂 I've had a unit here for many years, it's well maintained and safe. I recommend this facility without reservation.

Beware of lack of security. We had our trailer stolen right under their nose, someone ran into the front of it and two weeks ago went to put on current dmv tags only to find the door lock had been broken and someone was either sleeping in it or was trying to steal something. Luckily we do not keep anything in it. And now I got notice they are increasing rent by 40 percent. Anyone know of a good safe Rv storage??

I left a short message and received a quick callback from, Mario, M. and based on the message that I left Mario, M., had already solved my problem...It was that easy. When he called me back, he was super sweet, yet, so professional. I was prepared to give a detailed argument regarding my concern, but, Mario, M., took the wind out of my sails, when he responded with a very fair resolution for me. Mario, M., allowed me to have a more positive view of Public Storage, that they really care about their customers. I know that Mario, M., cares about the customer and I feel very happy about the entire company and my experience with Mario, M. Many thanks

My storage unit was robbed. The thief replaced my lock with their own so it could not be easily detected. I would avoid this place at all cost -- clearly they have poor security measures in place.

Scam alert: They took my money and gave my my unit, however when it was time for me to vacate, I went into the office and paid the full balance with my credit card. 10 days later I was called and rudely told that my balance had not been paid and the balance increased by $81 due to extra late fees. This is a SCAM to increase the bill. My credit card had thousands of dollars of credit available, and the cc company said there had been no charges returned. However, PHILLIP, one of the RUDEST, nastiness employees I have ever encountered basically told me I was a LIAR and that my credit card had been denied. A blatant lie. The error was on their end with their cc machine. Phillip told me that he was looking at “proof” that my card had been denied. He demanded payment of the additions unfounded charges and started yelling at me. I had no option to hang up. I paid the original balance in full, but they still rudely insist I pay an additional $81. HA

Every storage has its pros and cons, but the one thing that make your experience worth it, is the customer service behind it. At public storage the customer service exceeds expectation. Every time I walk in there I’m greeted with the biggest smile from all the staff members. From Juana to Daniel to Ashley. All of them incredibly friendly and ready to help you out the moment you walk in. Great team and I will definitely rent from here again.

This is best experience I’ve had at any storage company. I booked a unit online and within 10 mins a representative from the location called to welcome me and see if I had any a questions. The day before arriving, I got another call, making sure of my arrival time. Upon arrival, Ashley is the office was awesome showing me the facility and the storage unit. Check in was a breeze and my moving team was treated with the same respect as I was. Five star location, five star customer service.

Juana helped us. She was very professional and knew all parts of the rental process. My daughter was buying some packing supplies, but was feeling very ill. She got what she wanted, put it on the counter and went to the car. Rather than make her come back in to sign the credit slip, Juana unplugged the signing device and took it out to her in the car. you can't train that kind of customer service.

I don't have an account with public storage, but if I ever do need storage space, this is exactly where I would spend my hard-earned dollar... came here to pick up a friend in an unfortunate situation who's ride home didn't show up, however, when I arrived I didn't see him in the lobby or outside and with no way to get in I had to ask the staff. They didn't quite know who I was speaking about and then when I described in detail they all remembered him and one young lady in particular, Manely (pronounced: Mah-nel'-lee) totally went out of her way to find him for me. I explained to her she didn't have to go through so much trouble because to find him she would have to look up his information and figure out which space he rented and then walk there to find him… Which she did THREE different times. Needless to say he was gone, however, it takes absolutely nothing away from Manely's effort and her obvious commitment to excellent customer service,(which someone such as myself greatly appreciates since I was in the customer service business for about 20 years as well). So I tip my cap in respect to Miss Manely for her efforts and Public storage for having the right people in the right places! CHEERS!

I was told I have access until 9 pm. I show up right after work at 6:00 pm to pick up my suit case I have an early flight the next morning and they have a sign that says you can't access the unit after 6 pm temporarily I asked the girl if I can just run up for 1 minute I came straight from work she said no there is an alarm. Really?! Who is she lying to? How come in the past I was able to access u til 9? So would they come at 9 to put an alarm? The customer service is 0 and the attitude on top of it is horrible. I was not notified of this temporary change and ended up spending $100 on a new suitcase because I couldn't access my unit. You know put customer service aside and think of the humanity here why don't people like helping one another it would have taken me less then a minute to run and get my suitcase. Such a disappointment.

I showed up late... 15 minutes till closing. You would think I was there in the middle of the day because Juana was totally receptive to renting a unit at that time when many places would have turned me away. Her customer service is beyond reproach and makes you feel valuable. I passed two other Public Storage facilities to come to this one because of Juana. If you want to give your business to a place that appreciates it come to Public Storage Glendale at 4820 San Fernando Road.

On January 18th, 2019 my unit was sold in the auction. The Public Storage located at 4820 San Fernando Rd, Glendale, CA 91204 did wrongful sale of my items due to the following reasons: 1. The facility manager was negligent to the incident which have happened (theft). In October 2018 I had 2 break-in to my storage and on-side stuff have promised to give me credit for inconvenience. Also, I had to change my storage unit because I was scared that this type of accident can happen again. District manager ( Filipe) did not even follow up on the incident or on my credit request for all the stress and inconvenience which I have experienced. He did not take into consideration safety issue which I been trying to raise awareness about. He did not bother to follow up at all! 2. No registered or certified mail was sent to me prior to auction. 3. Correspondence sent by me was ignored. In my email I was giving date when I am going to pay!!! 4. Manager sold my items for significantly less than the value of property lost ( $250 VS $80,000). 5. My unit was sold to someone affiliated to Public Storage employees as the buyer is aware of the value of art ( only people with art degree are familiar with the value of art). Please note, I am still in process of submitting the evidence to police about the theft which have happened TWICE, and if Mr. Filipe would be more responsible, he would of known that he is about to sell the evidence for criminal investigation at his property. Public storage head office refused. to investigate employee’s performance at Public Storage located at San Fernando Rd. There is significant safety problems which I have been speaking about for a while, and as the management profits from “set-up” auction sales. I need return of my property ASAP

I have received Top Notch service from Public Storage at 4820 San Fernando Road in Glendale CA thanks to Darlene (manager) and Rob who initially helped me about a week ago, secure a storage unit. Yesterday, I realized I needed a bigger space and Darlene was Tremendous in assisting me and making certain I was happy with my new space! Huge Kudos to Public Storage at this location for keeping the customer happy! The grounds, storage and bathrooms are all very clean! Those are the things that I notice right away: Great customer service and clean facilities! Darlene was Excellent in all areas!!! Hi I'd like to say that Carina, Darlene, and Jauna are the absolute best. Incredible customer service, yes, but more importantly, they interact with me in a normal way. It's kinda like we're friends that have known each other for years. I remember when I was having trouble locking my space, and I had accidentally left it unlocked. I got several calls from them. I didn't answer any of the calls because I didn't recognize the number. The messages seemed like they were more concerned than anything else. There wasn't any quoting of company policy. Instead, they were concerned that I may have lost my key and had left it unlocked intentionally. Of course, I told them that I hadn't, and asked if they could lock it for me. I was at work and couldn't get away. I always see them cleaning! Either they are clean freaks, or Public Storage are slave drivers. (Jk). But seriously, I once saw Darlene cleaning those roll up garage doors with nothing but a spray bottle and paper towels! Sometimes I go into the office to talk with them. I appreciate all that they do; all that they are; and all that they hope to be.... That, and their air con works really, really, well. (Jk) I think that they deserve a raise...say...3.2 trillion dollars...per hour...(Not kidding) It goes to show you how good a company Public Storage is. They hire quality people to represent them. Came in early to get a spot, was greeted very rudely and told that I could not get one. Got one and now I'm continually having issues with extra charges that were not present in the bill. This has been a terrible experience, and I'm currently gabbing my things to socal storage a few blocks away.

Outstanding customer service and very efficient. Juana and the other staff members are friendly and helpful. Huge parking lot makes it convenient to load or unload your vehicle. Lots of drive up units.

AVOID THIS LOCATION!! If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I made a reservation online for both a storage space and a vehicle space and a few hours later one of their representatives called me to confirm both of my orders. Right after she sent me a confirmation email with the total balance of what I would have to pay for the first month for each space, they both had the $1 for first month special included in the confirmation email. When I showed up with a truck full of stuff the next day, the manager, Juana, wouldn't honor that price because she said she could only apply the special to one of the spaces. Even though I understand the policy, the lady on the phone never said anything about that and even in the subsequent email she sent me right after our conversation there was no claim of that either. I had a specific cost in writing from the company and they shrugged it off unapologetically. Ultimately, I wouldn't have cared but Juana was extremely nasty about it and offered no positive customer service. She just had the attitude of 'it is what it is' and at that point I resorted to call the district manager, Felipe Gomez, he basically had the same attitude and did not attempt to make the situation any better. I worked in retail for years and I know how to treat customers and the way these people went about business that day is nothing short of insensitive and incompetent towards customer relations. Avoid this location at all cost!

Had a great experience with my first rental here. The lady that helped me, Juana, was very friendly and helpful. She took the time to explain how everything would fit in my unit and how to best accommodate my things. She took the time to get to know me as well and make this stressful time easier.

Juana is the BEST! Very informative and helpful and most of all friendly. I was in and out in 15 minuets, Juana showed me a couple of different storage spaces and helped me pick the perfect one for my needs.
