Overall a Great organization! My mother was storing here for years. at first i thought it would be to complicated because of her age, but they were very clear and patient with the details and helping her out whenever she had problems or questions. Would give ZERO stars if I could. I wanted to move out on May 1st. I had everything out of my unit and stopped by on May 1 to confirm and check out. Apparently since it was after midnight, I am charged for an additional month. No partial payment, no willingness to work with me. Just take the extra money because they think I have no choice. Called the 800 number for customer service...well that was a waste of time, it just forwards you to the location you rented from. Sadly, every chance they can get they will hit you with a charge, 12 hours over my limit and I owe an additional $180 plus late fees because no one bothered to respond to my messages I left about my unit. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST, or it WILL cost you...alot.

I wanted a simple, easy storage solution to clean out some clutter from my house. I had some of the best customer service I've ever experienced at Public Storage. They went above and beyond to make sure I was making the best decision for my storage needs. I really appreciate all of their help. I had a great experience at Public Storage and I would honestly refer it to my friends. This place is very convenient for me.

This is now the second time I’ve come to this location and been lied to and told something completely different then what I was told the first time, I will never come back to this unit when I can FINALLY get my stuff out

This is the worst service I have ever had in my life. The so called “manager” is NOT helpful and was very rude. She charged me for something I specifically told her “no thank you” for and decided to take my money anyways. Was was supposed to be a $25 payment turned into my card getting charged $70. This is a horrible place and I will be removing my storage.

I researched a dozen other local storage companies, and can say that Public Storage is by far the best deal out there. They often have discounts and special prices. I made an appointment, came, was assisted by Fariba, who did an excellent job, explained their policy and set everything up. I'm very happy with the deal she offered for storing my business van!! The area is secure, clean and under 24 hour surveillance. Totally recommend this company!

First storage unit rental for me. Raquel was very helpful, personable, and answered all my questions.

David was totally darling. Really helped out considering I drove cross country. Had no problems setting up and getting into a unit to deposit my things.

Had the pleasure of meeting and being helped by Saxon (great name by the way). He was very nice and informative from the get go. I came in needing just a single month rental of a unit and he aided me in finding the proper sized unit to fit my storage needs. He was very detailed and concise in explaining things like payments and the insurance. Had a pleasant conversation as well and gave me a good welcome to Virginia (I just moved here from California). Overall very good experience and I'd giving that man a raise/promotion/whatever necessary to keep him working there.

Have nothing but props to give to David and this facility! I have had a small unit for 5 months, and yesterday came upon a circumstance where I needed a large unit IMMEDIATELY. David was able to locate the perfect unit for my situation, and was able to get all of my paperwork done in a very short amount of time. I was able to vacate my apartment and get everything into my storage unit all within a matter of hours after working with David.

I have had the best experience with Public Storage in Sterling VA. The unit was the right size for my belongings and the location was very convenient. I had to leave the country unexpectedly on personal business and Sarah was the best! She called me every week to check on me and also let me know the date the storage was due. She knew that I was a bit in a frenzy but she helped me through the entire ordeal. She is the best and I know that I will be doing business with her for a very long time. Not only is she very professional, she actually cares!

I recently met and spoke to the manager,Sarah. I wanted a space to park our truck and enclosed trailer. Sarah was extremely courteous and helpful. She took us to the space and explained everything regarding the rental and security at the location. She was genuinely thorough and patiently answered all of our questions. We proceeded to the office and completed all the necessary paperwork and Sarah made it all stress free. We had a wonderful experience and hope to see Sarah again at the facility. She is great and definitely is a great manager worthy of my praise.

I just searched the area for a new rental space and chose this location simply due to the customer service. I confirmed some details with the property manger Sarah, made my reservation online, then got a follow up from Miguel (sp?). Both were extremely polite and knowledgable. Sarah handled my rental agreement and explained everything clearly, making sure that what I was renting was exactly what I needed. Top shelf service ! !

Public Storage can be a pain in the #&% when you are late paying your bill or you're not the primary name on the account, but Sarah always has a smile and pleasant personality and is very helpful when conducting business. She ultimately was the 1 person responsible on helping me put my email address on the account even though I'm the backup/secondary person. She also provided good advice and other pertinent info to assist me. She is great representation for the company.

CLEAN FACILITY, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE I purchase items from the store from time to time, boxes and such and I need to say that I've seen a notable improvement in the cleanliness and care to the facility since the January time frame. My parents have a storage unit here and every now and then I'll either come with them to check on it or just drop by myself and I always look forward to seeing Sarah. She's super helpful, knows the property, and knows how to work with customers so we feel like we're in good hands. My parents just moved to the area and needed to store some antiques (generations old) and were initially pretty worried about it but Sarah but us feel great about the security, cleanliness, and anytime they have questions Sarah is there to answer them. It's by far the best experience we have ever had with a storage property/unit.

Hi, Ive been in and out of storages for many years. I run a karaoke business and need storage to accommodate the large equipment I haul from gig to gig. This is the 1st time I have been truly please with the service. Julio is a wonderful caring manager that makes sure you have everything and anything you need. One example is the day my key broke on my lock. He quickly locked up my storage with one of his own locks and called me. I was on my way to get the spare key. These days, that kind of service is hard to find!

I requested a lock request and Marvin and Sara were quick to get it done. They were able to get the lock cut with enough time for us to move out before having to return our truck we rented.

I called and visited Public Storage today, and the customer service was great! Ibrahim took my call and helped me when I came to view the unit. On the phone he was patient and answered all of my questions. When I showed up 30 minutes later, Ibrahim was ready to show me my unit and helped me figure out the lock for the unit (which I kept fumbling with). The unit itself was as advertised and the lot was much cleaner than a few other places I had looked at. I had a lot of requests, had to leave because I forgot my card, and asked a lot of questions but Ibrahim kept smiling and kept helping. Would definitely recommend!

After a bad experience with a nearby storage facility(AAAA Storage), I headed over to this Public Storage facility. Still a little irritated, Perla listened to me complain, which I later apologized for. The point is...she listened, talked me through it, and was patient with me. She certainly did not have to be so nice, and I really appreciated that. Anyway, on to the review.... It's nice to be greeted at this place. Perla was extremely helpful, and walked me through the process(first time storage user here). Not one time did I feel rushed and not one time did I feel pressured. She was generally caring and concerned that I was comfortable with my unit and with the price. I truly appreciated this, and it helped to turn my day around. I highly recommend this place. It was clean, well managed, and had a welcoming feeling to it. The AAAAStorage place was unbelievable, and I am happy now that I ended up with the Public Storage facility on South Sterling Blvd. Thank you Perla!
