This facility is clean, well-maintained, and fairly priced. However the real star of the show is Jennifer. She has gone above and beyond to make the experience great at every step along the way. Thank you, Jennifer!

Jennifer the Property Manager, has such good energy and always has a smile on her face. She extends her great customer service from the moment you drive into the until you leave. I’ve seen her converse with several customers on occasions, she makes you feel welcomed and personalizes the experience, letting us, the customers know that she cares You can definitely see that in the cleanliness of the facility

Way overpriced for square footage. Nice and clean. Jennifer is a very helpful and informative staff member at this facility. She is very pleasant and knowledgeable of all aspects of the facility and Public Storage in general. Would give only three stars if not for her. Price is only reason not giving 5 stars

I had to find a storage space at the last minute and I happened to see this one which had just opened at the time and had really great deals on storage space. From booking a storage unit to move out I worked with Jennifer and honestly I'm so grateful. She was and has been so helpful accommodating throughout my rental period and was always the one to answer calls or call me back or respond to any emails or concerns I had. The space is new so it's so clean, the codes for entry into the space and each level makes it very safe and secure and my stuff was safe and same condition I left it one year later. I'm so so grateful to Jennifer, Whitney and Ishara who helped me during my move out. Should I ever need another storage space I will definitely be coming back here!

If you don’t already rent here, I would advise you to look elsewhere. This place was amazing when we first started renting in a year ago, but it’s gotten worse and worse over the past few months: it’s over-crowded (the loading/unloading space is frequently so full that you get parked in by other renters), there are no carts for customers (there were 4 or 5 a year ago, now there’s apparently 1?), and the formerly friendly service is gone. As an example why: We went to Public Storage in twice just today. The first time it was too full to get in, so we came back. The second time, there was only one other vehicle- professional movers who were using their own carts and confirmed they were not using any others… but there were somehow now zero (0) carts available rather than the 1 cart from earlier in the day. We checked with Jennifer (property manager) and the other person on staff in the office, and we were told they didn’t know where the carts were, but we were “free to go floor to floor to look for them.” Rude? But we did. We walked through all 4 floors and found no carts and no one using carts. They’re all just gone. We want back in to the office and were told that it must be people stealing them- there’s nothing they can do. So instead of an easy few trips, we took a bunch of heavy, bulky, and/or fragile items by hand. It took a full hour longer than expected- two hours if you include the attempt earlier in the day. Conversations with the folks during the morning trip make me believe that experiences like this are becoming more and more common. Unless you have your own heavy-duty trolly to bring along with you, maybe think about renting at a different company or location. I’m so disappointed, as a year ago, I would have rated this place at 5 stars.

It's Friday at 3pm. I'm literally standing outside but no one is home. No be back soon sign yet online says they are open. I guess I will suggest an edit stating they are 100% closed every Friday. Been standing here for 30 minutes.

The cleanliness of this place is top notch and the price is very good as well. But…. the true star of this facility is Jennifer (the property manager). She is the absolute best! She’s very personable and will work with you to make sure your experience is above and beyond your expectations. I had an odd move-out situation during the holidays which Jennifer was able to handle with such care and put my mind at total ease during an already intense and stressful time. 10/10 recommend this facility.

I came to move in to my storage unit. When I got there I realized I needed a bigger space. I was there at 1, there was no one in the leasing office. I called and left a voicemail, no one has called back. I called the next day and nothing. I have not used my unit and I want to get a refund, the customer service is horrible.

Lady at the desk was super unhelpful when checking out. Said nothing needs to be done at all. Had to check out by figuring it out for myself online. Also it's mandatory to buy their stupid lock which doesn't have much use elsewhere and neither do they take it back. Not coming back.

Helped a friend move and Jennifer at the front desk was super helpful in finding the right size storage room. She even got him one near a side door so unloading was easy. I even got a cold bottle of water out of it

I have had very bad experiences in the past with employees at storage facilities but I was extremely grateful for the help that Jennifer gave me when I came in with a lot of questions. Not recommend for long term storage they don't have enough cart and u have to wait one of employees to give u one just 1 !!!! Elevator there slow and sucks there is reason why its cheap to rent with them definitely this is the last time i will rent a storage there!

What makes this location the best...the management staff! Jennifer is the absolute best! When it's extremely warm out you will find Jennifer offering cold water to customers moving in/out. She's always available to assist and offer recommendations. It's small acts such as this, combined with the clean, secure facility, why I'm glad I chose this location. This is a newer facility with the drive through bays which I love because I'm able to load/unload regardless of the weather. I never had a problem with getting a push cart...the requirement changed where you had to sign them out from the office. I'm told that's because they started mysteriously disappearing lol. I didn't mind having to sign them out, at least there were some available.

Rented a 5x5 over the holiday weekend. Rented online so a barrel lock was left in my unit - contactless. A code was texted to me in the morning. The building is new and clean. There is only one person on sight in the office. You have to give them your id to borrow a trolley which is really annoying and the biggest con of this place. Other storage facilities leave this right outside the elevator. So if you don't come between 9 to 5 and not at lunch time you will have to bring your own dolly or carry your items to your vehicle. The price is low right now because they are trying to fill up. I expect it to rise so get the smallest unit that you can. I don't think the security is great. Your code is good for the entire building. It should be partioned by floor and wing. I wouldn't use this facility if I was a business.

The staff is FABULOUS, I so appreciate their help. I LOVE that there are restrooms. Much better security than most spaces. Only negative is that there is no wifi and I can't use my phone from my space. Since I'm older, could be a medical issue. UPDATE: They added an antenna and I get wifi access -- thanks!

This public storage location is by far the best one I've used; it's clean, uses convenient tech that works, and has outstanding customer service (thanks, Maria!). I just leased my unit for a year, don't hesitate to do the same.

Well first and foremost it was the smile and great attitude and customer sevice that caught my attention from a specific employee at this location who made this visit super easy and smoothe this young lady was the best i believe her name was jennifer over all a great experience good job PS.

Jennifer is awesome. Every interaction I've had with her, she's been a huge help and is always polite and customer service orientated. Some of the other folks working there, are not as helpful as Jennifer. I reported a leak in the loading bay, and the person at the desk just said "we are aware of it". At least put a sign out there so tenants know it could be slippery at a specific spot. No movement. Jennifer on the other hand, is always out tidying up the facility and around it. Public Storage...give her a raise or promote!!

It’s been the best experience in my life. customer service is the best. As soon as I walked in the doors I was received by Jennifer with a big smile and with a thank you for choosing us. I got treated with respect and the most important thing to me was the kindness. I believe now days you can’t find Customer service because everything now day is get in get out and who’s next in line. I got a tour of the facility and a tour of the different sizes unit to see what would accommodate me the best. New and very clean facility in a good location. Jennifer who works there was always available to help. I hired movers and she even came to my unit and made sure they knew where bathrooms are etc. so the move goes smoothly. I highly recommend that location.

Once again I was searching for what storage facility to go with because I’m deploying with the military. I came across this particular location online when comparing prices, and not only did they have a really good price but the customer service rep was very nice! Jennifer was who provided follow up to ensure I had everything squared away before starting my moving process. She was very informative and provided quick responses any time I had further questions or needed assistance. Definitely Recommend !!

This particular storage place is always well maintained by the staff. Jennifer is always around checking the units and answering all your questions. I have been to many public storage locations but this one is very well kept and staff is always present. Best public storage in the area without a doubt. The Public Storage on Bren Mar is the best location that I've seen (I visited at least 6 other facilities in the area, and rented from another off and on for the past several years). The facility is new and very clean, with a large indoor loading/unloading area, which allows you to easily move things in inclement weather. Jennifer has been incredibly helpful, beginning with a tour of the facility and available units, to clearly explaining pricing and helping ensure the internet rates that I reserved under were honored. The entire facility is well-lit and feels very safe and secure.

I was so skeptical about getting a storage unit because of the fact I’m a female and feel unsafe at storages since they are secluded and such but this location has been amazing! I love that I can drive into the gate and leave my car there . I love that you need a psscode for gate and elevator so not just anyone can come in. Jennifer - the staff lady there has been amazing. She always goes above and beyond for me . She is always willing to help and accommodate . She is so sweet and the communication has been great. Jennifer is such a good employee and that’s hard to find these day! Thank you so much for making reservation and move in easy!!

As first timers to renting a public storage unit we couldn’t be happier to have found this particular Public Storage facility! We checked out several storage companies including two other PS locations. Bren Mar is brand new - clean, convenient location, easy & flexible scheduling process with reasonable prices, and an extremely helpful and responsive staff. Property manager Jennifer is awesome to work with! Her enthusiastic personality while giving us a tour of Bren Mar, telling us about the company, and showing us an alternate unit - 10 x 5 vs 5x 10 - that is better- suited to the type of items we would be storing sold us on our decision. Jennifer was attentive as well during our actual move that was done in several trips on two different days. I’m glad to know I can just call her directly with any questions. We have already recommended Public Storage Bren Mar to several friends for storage needs, and also as a company where employees seem to enjoy working.

Facility is brand new, super clean and very competitively priced. The massive indoor unloading area also came in clutch because it rained the day we were moving our stuff in. The manager, Jennifer, is also awesome! Highly recommend this place if you need to store anything in northern Virginia.

This is the best public storage in the Northern Virginia area. Well kept, wonderfully managed, very clean and the price is unbeatable. I love that the loading dock is in a covered garage so you don’t have to worry about weather conditions. Jennifer, the property manager is INCREDIBLE and goes above and beyond to make sure her customers are happy and taken care of. She even brought me a chair and gave me the coat off her back when I was shivering waiting on my movers to unload my stuff in to my storage unit. She is such a sweetheart and you never see her without a smile on her face, she was a light in the middle of a stressful move. Thank you Jennifer! Public storage, you’ve got a wonderful employee!

What an amazing experience! Not only is this a spotlessly clean, well maintained facility but Jennifer is amazing! Helpful, courteous and on it! I had a problem on move out day (not their fault, my movers) and she helped me solve it with no issues whatsoever! I would HIGHLY recommend.

I am writing this review because I've had the most amazing experience with a Public Storage employee. Her name is Jennifer R. and she is at the Bren Mar location. Jennifer was EXTREMELY helpful and understanding of my exact needs. Again, I'm writing this review because it was refreshing to have someone who was "Johnny On The Spot"... Public Storage needs to clone her and place her at every one of their locations!!!

After having to store my most valuable possessions last minute I was frantic, attempting to contact several different storage companies....and then comes Jennifer! She was very helpful and customer service oriented and was able to get me in a unit that suits my needs. If I could give 10 stars I would!

Jennifer is an AWESOME asset for Public Storage and a great value to all the customers there. The facility is first rate in terms of cleanliness and being well lit. All the staff is super friendly, helpful, and competent. The rental process was less than 5 min and a great experience. I have felt comfortable every visit to add stuff to my storage unit. The unloading area is secure, well-lit and covered - always enough trolley's available. THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO STORE!

This Facility is on POINT!!! Jennifer the MGR was Extremely Helpful and Gracious ( I am a Senior). Property Clean and well Kept.

Clean climate controlled storage makes for easy and sweat free moves. Gets crowded and hard to park and load or offload especially weekends. Water, bathrooms provided. Don't do online reservation. They booked my space in someone else's name and didn't specify the kind of lock I needed to bring.

This would have been a 5 star review however, when I arrived about 945 for my 10am appointment, the place was still closed and no attendant in sight. I waited until 1015 and still no one was there. Luckily I registered online and was able to find my unit and get my keys. I felt sad for the woman in front of me as she really needed to speak to someone. I left after moving my unit, however she needed help. The building and site are great, however the customer service and attention to details were non-existent this day.

Just rented a space in July 2021 and the facility is great and the customer service is superb (thank you Jennifer!). I definitely recommend this company and this location.

Jennifer in person, as well as Marcus on the phone, and prior to that someone at the national number, have been the kindest and most articulate professionals we dealt with during our move. When someone needs to set up a storage unit, it is likely in the context of other significant stressors in life (moving, job loss, big life change, family loss, etc..). The service this company offers customers clearly shows such an awareness. I am crossing my fingers for longevity of the reasonable rates they have provided so far.

Great place and brand new. Easy to get to just off 395. Jennifer, the property manager was exceptionally helpful when I went to check the place out. On “move-in day” she greeted us with 2 bottles of ice-cold water. The level of customer support reminded me of Nordstrom’s. Secure access is through a large automatic garage door using your 8-digit code. There are at least 8 large carts similar to what contractors use at Home Depot available so you can quickly move a large number of boxes to your unit. I saved nearly $200 a month here rather than using a nearby storage unit from a different company. Everything can be handled online.

Jordan was amazing!! She was so helpful and patient with me. I was super indecisive and ended up coming back to the rental office with more questions after I'd already been there earlier that morning. Despite that, Jordan was so nice, professional, and knowledgeable both times. She took the time to show me units multiple times and answer all of my questions. I could hear myself being annoying while I was talking, but it didn't seem to faze Jordan at all. I truly appreciate her patient assistance, and she definitely helped me figure out what I needed. The units were spacious and clean, and I really liked the peaceful location. I'm so grateful to Jordan, and I highly recommend this Public Storage location!

Public storage in Alexandria has great, helpful employees. Jennifer is the manager there and she keeps the storage facility there clean and she is in front office is always willing to lend a helping hand. I highly recommend this business.

The employees are extremely rude. I came at 1pm they went to lunch and they didn’t come until 3:55pm. The doors and the codes didn’t work. The property manager doesn’t have any training about customer service at all. I hope they change they staff.

Firstly, Jennifer in the office may be the most enthusiastic, competent, and just plain nice employee in all of Northern Virginia!! What a person--she quickly completed my paperwork, succinctly explained how the storage site is organized, and walked me to my rental unit while answering every question. She is the type of employee any company would love to have! The storage site is great--sparkling clean with a variety of storage unit sizes. A covered unloading area that is accessed by an electronic code offers protection from the elements. Elevators provide access to floors not at ground level. Reasonable rental rates. i would rent a unit from this site again!

Jennifer is awesome! She gave us cold bottles of water after moving some things in on a really hot day. You may be unsure if you are heading in the right direction because the road is secluded, but it is definitely on Bren Mar Dr. Happy with the customer service and the facility.
