What began as a reasonable $150/month for a 10x10 unit ballooned to over $800/month—with no improvements, no upgrades, and no justification. Let’s break it down: Customer Service: When I called to question the outrageous price increases, I was met with complete indifference. I was told it was “corporate policy” and that “plenty of people are paying over $800 for a 5x5 unit.” That’s not an explanation—that’s an excuse. No concern for customer loyalty. No effort to help. Just a robotic, uncaring response that made it clear: they do not care. Limited Access Hours: For the money they charge, 24-hour access should be a given. Instead, customers are stuck with restricted hours, which is incredibly inconvenient for anyone working full time or dealing with a move. Infestation: I found rats and black widows in my unit—even though everything I stored was sealed in totes. That’s not user error, that’s a facility failure. At $800/month, pest control should be standard, not optional. Neglected Property: The pavement around the units was littered with broken glass for over a year and never got cleaned up. Safety and cleanliness are clearly not a priority. Between the exploitative pricing, hazardous conditions, and useless customer support, I would not recommend Public Storage to anyone. They take advantage of people who feel stuck, and they do the bare minimum in return.

I like this location small but nice

Called to inquire about large storage units. The lady on the phone was very nice and explained about how much stuff a large storage would hold. When I arrived I meet Tiara the manager. She was very patient, explained everything to me and even showed me their largest units. She was whom I had spoke with on the phone. The unit was clean, they had all the supplies I needed. I definitely would recommend this location to my friends and family.

Moving & needed a place to place my huge items , called a couple places but the service here was top tier and i knew this is were i wanted my belongings but Tiara’s Service Was amazing , the wait time was not long and they helped me with everything & definitely made my day with there amazing service u definitely cant beat it

Stay far away from this place, the employees at this location are extremely rude and unprofessional. I had the misfortune of visiting Public Storage at 7501 Fordson Rd. Upon entering the office you are intoxicated by a heavy cigarette smell as if smoking is happening indoors by employees (disgusting). The person working did not greet, but was in a bad mood. He had me wait and was annoyed I waited close enough to where I can be visible to him. About 20 minutes pass and the employee comes out and says “I’m coming” with an attitude while rolling his eyes. I follow thinking he’s going to walk me to my unit and then turns around and says to stop following him, that I will now have to wait longer… I ask to speak to a manager and a lady claiming to be the manager comes out in pajamas…. Long story short, STAY FAR AWAY from this place. I am attaching photos of the two employees I encountered for reference.

This is one of the cleanest properties that I have visited.

My Mom and I both have our own separate units here and I rented based on my Mom’s recommendation. There are a few storage locations closer to me, but I chose this location because the staff is friendly and professional; Tiara has been awesome! The property is always clean when I stop in and to me that means that the company/staff care about the little details.
