Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 60 Route 9 N, Morganville, NJ

Public Storage has bad business practices!! Buyer Beware!! I had done my research and contacted roughly 20 companies in the county and at the time they were the cheapest. They quoted me a price and once I was in they decided to raise the price. Not just by a little bit but a crazy amount. I've tried working with the onsite people and customer service on the phone and they don't care at all! All they care about is their money and nothing else! I will be moving my items out as soon as possible!

Harry is top notch and truly dedicated to serving the customers. I came in for a quick question and left completely satisfied with the results.

Used this facility for short term storage when listing a house for sale. No issues, just had a 5 x 10 room. Staff was very helpful (kudos to Harry M. for help with a cart and closing out the rental). Room was clean and dry; location was convenient, access was fine, etc. Hints/Tips for owners: prorated refunds for partial months would be nice. Also, the placement of the keypads for the gate is a bit awkward - you need to swing left to access the keypad, then turn back to the right to go through the gate.

The facility itself is pretty amazing, super clean, great location and accessibility. Right from the getgo we were welcomed by Harry who is a great person all around, very professional, knowledgeable and helpful . Harry would be a great asset to any company. I really hope Public Storage is proud to have Harry as their employee!

If I could leave no stars I would. Go somewhere else. Save yourself the hassle. Read your contract. Bait and switch here. You can do better at other storage places. The people in here will not help you. They just refer you to the help line. Raise your rent for no reason. This place is trash. I argued about a late fee I should not have been charged. Came back to raised rent. You can do better elsewhere!

Beyond disappointed with our experience at this location. Been with Pubic Storage for over 6 years now but recently moved to the Marlboro location. We have a unit in the first building to the right and within 4 months our items were COVERED with Mold! Not just a little amount of mold, our items were dripping with mold, take a look at the pictures attached. We had a feeling there may have been an issue in the building because you can smell the musk on the 1st floor as soon as you walk in s we took precaution and had 2 tubs of damp rid in our unit to prevent any issues. I know we cannot be the only people this has happened to as management had advised us that we were the ones who brought the issue to their attention and they are currently vacating units due to the mold issue in that building. Since they admitted there WAS an issue and we were the ones who brought it to their attention we asked for them to compensate since we essentially paid to have our items damaged. To our surprise we was told that isn't something that can be done because "things happen". We weren't asking for compensation of damaged items, but simply to compensate us 4 out of the 72 months we've been customers there. At this point we just want the public aware so this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Got a good deal on a unit that hadn't moved for a while. . Check in with relatively easy. With Maxine. Since then I've dealt mostly with Tatiana who has been fantastic helping us out on-site when needed...very personable and service oriented. Highly recommend this location, as well as the old Bridge store, who steered me to Morganville when they found a better deal there for me there.

I was very impressed with the professionalism and empathy that Jaedyn & Tatiyana shared with me to make this a smooth experience. I would highly recommend this location for whoever lives in the East Brunswick, Spotswood, Marlboro, Old bridge area. Very safe location with easy access to your storage unit 7 days a week including holidays. Looking forward to making this a long term relationship and will not hesitate to refer family and friends. :-)

Very bad experience. I was told the water in the unit was from a broken pipe. I discovered the problem when I saw water in the hallway and then along the wall in the unit. The office was informed and it was a surprise to them. I was told it would be addressed. When I returned a week later, half of unit could not be used as there was now a large puddle over half the floor of the unit. There was a mildew smell. Nothing on hand from office to get water out. People in office could not do anything to help other than saying I could file an insurance claim. No response after writing twice through the Public Storage website as well as a call to the district manager. I had just paid for the month and nothing offered for the situation. I moved out immediately and have never heard from them since. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

It's public storage... You store stuff there... Pretty much worked as advertised...

BRI did a great job getting us up to speed and also coordinating with us before we made it, as we were coming from out of town. Very much appreciate the service. Nothing to do with Bri, but we were a little thrown off by the additional lock charge and insurance which are not specified up front when you sign up on the website. I think for full disclosure to the client, this should be available information at time of signing up.

We are currently renting a storage unit here and it is clean and super convenient! Bre in the office was very helpful and made sure our unit fit our needs! Definitely a good spot to rent a storage unit! 🤗

I did not have good experience with Public Storage in Morganville, NJ. I rented space at this location for approximately 5-6 months. Here's why….. 1) Not Enough Carts - On many occasions, there was only one small rusty cart that was made available for the property. Also, the handle for the rusty cart wasn't properly secured and I almost injured myself one occasion since the handle came off while trying to use it. After I sent a note to their corporate office, a few weeks later they added more carts. 2) I frequently found nails adjacent to the building where I rented space. I even told management about the issue, it didn't seem to help. I don't think anyone sweeps the property for nails. Thankfully, I never got a flat tire. 3) The front door to the storage building does not stay open. The door to the building has a magnet on it to keep it open but it was always broken. The only to keep the bulding door open was to take an orange road cone (it's kept in a pothole near the building that they never repaired) to wedge the door open 4) I bought moving boxes and they were NOT returnable, even though I was told that I could return them!! I had unused boxes and tried to return them but the rep at the front desk would not take them back. I called corporate office to complain and they said that the district manager would call me in order to assist and guess what….they never called me. It's now been over a month and still no calls. In a nutshell, if you are looking for a place to store your property, I would suggest looking for a better managed facility.

Not only was she knowledgeable, she was also very friendly and helpful. I ultimately ended up not needing a storage unit after all, but I highly recommend Taryn to anyone who is looking for guidance with storage unit rentals.

What is there not to like about it? Convenient location, an AMAZING STAFF! One day I was in such a hurry I left my unit open. Even though they are behind security gates and have 24-hour surveillance, you never know, but, Jessica was on duty that day and while out, she noticed I forgot to close my unit and closed it for me! What a relief it was because I was already an hour and a half away from Public Storage and she saved me a lot of anxiety! I highly recommend!

Jessica and Andre have been nothing but helpful. Every time I come to the office or property they are always ready to help. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you Jessica and Andre!

Great experience and really easy to accomplish exactly what I accomplished. The manager there Jessica was easy to work with and a pleasure to communicate what I was looking for. I needed to rent a unit it took me no more than 10 minutes to see the unit fill out the paperwork and be done. I recommend using this facilities to anyone who needs storage space

Jessica and Kelly were very friendly and helpful when I came in to buy boxes to ship goods for my business. They explained to me that there were promotions on the boxes and I had no idea. I've stored with public storage before and recently my friend needed a storage unit. So I took a ride to the public storage in morganville to see what units were available. Once we got there, Jessica was very friendly and professional. she showed us different sized units and answered any of the questions that we had. The facility was very clean and well-lit. I've always had great experiences with public storage, that's why I always recommend them to my friends and family.

Just got home from renting my unit. Manager on duty, Jazmin, was very helpful with my move. Property was clean from the inside-out. I would recommend this facility to friends and family members.

Good storage facility. Excellent location for my needs. Cool dude working inside that's very helpful. Clean and priced well. Lighting is good and temperature inside the non-climate controlled units on the first floor remains in an acceptable range, both in extreme hot and cold. No leak issues or mold from my experience.

Stored there short term. The staff was very friendly and the carts they provided made my move in a whole lot easier. Happy I chose this facility.

The fact that they have a month to month contract and I wasn't locked into anything was a HUGE plus.
