Five Stars for the service provided by ED at this location! It was 95 degrees outside but a cool calm met me at the front door with courteous and kind help and knowledge of the process and systems. Ed immediately knew who I was, directed me to the unit and was available with answers and assistance the whole time I was there. He even remembered me a week later when we called in with a question! I was out at Public Storage with my dad the other day and he introduced me to Ed the manager who seems like a really nice guy. I've returned to my dad's storage space a few times with him subsequently and every time we're there we see Ed and it amazes us how he's always doing something - checking spaces, moving things around and doing LOTS of cleaning. We joked that we wouldn't recognize him without that yellow cart he always seems to have in front of him! Two days ago we were there and Ed was clearing out a pile of leaves near the entrance. I asked him why he was doing that and he said, "Just don't want these things to find themselves in the foyer!" Preventive cleaning - ya gotta love it!

The other day I was back in the office of the Public Storage in East Hanover and was happy to see that the manager that helped me find a space to store my things back in the summer. Ed did a fantastic job helping me out last time, and this time it was no different. I needed even more space and Ed found something for me that wasn't very much more at all, but gave me a whole lot more room. There were plenty of different storage places I could have gone to last summer. I'm really glad I lucked out with Ed and all he was able to do for me at Public Storage.

Excellent service to get in. Ed was awesome. Joseph from Scotch Plain was helpful as well. I vacated the storage on 12/1. I did not have any issues during the time I used the storage. However I was not happy PS charged me the full amount for the month of December even so I vacated the storage on Dec 1st 12PM. The girl who worked there on Monday was unsupportive and unfriendly when I approached her the day before. I am lowering the rate to 3 stars for these reason. Ed as usual was great the day I left.

5 stars because its got a convenient location right off rt 10. The elevator wasn't working when I went tho and there was nobody there at the front. It said "be back @5:30...it was 4pm and the store closes at 6 so....yeah that kind of messed up what I needed to do because my code wasn't working for the door so I couldn't get in.

Ed is fantastic, and I can't rave about him enough. However, as someone who had a unit with them for 2 years, I'm surprised corporate wasn't able to to try and price match or give me an incentive to stay. I ended up downsizing and spending $100 less for the same size unit right down the street.

Hope helped me lease my unit. This is not her normal location but she was still very helpful. Hope helped answer all of my questions. She was super friendly, even after she was basically scolded by the folks ahead of me (for something that they could have remedied by making an appointment before showing up). The unit and facility are clean. I'm leasing a 5x10 and it's large enough for me to store my large storage containers and small 60 gallon totes. The ceiling is very high so I can stack my totes and have additional room for other things like a twin bed or my drum set.

I have to compliment Ed. He does what he says he is going to do: got back to me within 24 hours! His attention to customer service is terrific. Thanks, Ed!

Ed did a great job getting the paperwork done fast and he also accommodated my request to switch to a unit that was in a better location. All in all it was a smooth transaction!

About 3 years later, Well besides people living out of the units on the 3rd floor, its pretty good. Service is fine, sometimes the doors break, and access to other floors is not an option, like the bathroom and such not a biggie. Prices increased from $78 to $108.

Good public storage with ample space for our stuff. Currently they have an offer of $1 membership fee making the cost reduce to $25 per month, which is very cheap. Rob, the customer service guy was very friendly and courteous. Only thing I would like to suggest is bring your own custom locks, as the locks they offer are too expensive around $19.99 .

Me and my aunt Mariam came in on Thursday and had the greatest experiance with the property manager Elaine. She was understanding and the sale for the unit we rented was in our price range. Increases rates by approximately 30% and become very aggressive on the phone when you call to discuss it. They are crooks.

As a first time storage unit owner, I had a LOT of questions, and he patiently answered each one in a way that I could actually understand, which was so refreshing and helpful!! Not to mention he listened empathetically while I ranted about the illegal eviction that caused me to get this unit in the first place (landlord dies, daughter inherits house and wants to sell it very quickly, so she changes all the locks one day!! Insane, and illegal, and he listened to the whole story with compassion and caring.) Really fantastic service, I would definitely recommend this place especially for first timers!!

Today I went to this storage facility to open a storage unit account. Kareem, the Property Manager, was professional, informative and very pleasant. He took me to the unit so I could see the space. He explained the hours of operations, how to open and close the unit gate properly so I don't hurt myself, how I can store my belongings to maximize the space and how to put the lock on the gate to ensure my property is safe and secure. The facility and the unit was very clean. I like that the ceiling of the unit has the metal enclosed ceiling not the mesh wire that I've had at other storage units. We then returned to the office to complete the paperwork. Kareem went through every page I signed and explained the insurance, the lease/rental agreement, the payment information and future charge & discount schedule. I would certainly recommend this location to anyone in the area looking for a storage facility. Kareem is an asset to your company. It was a pleasure doing business with him.

Went into the office a few days ago to pay my wife's bill and the property manager Tina was very awesome she was so helpful she even explained options of ways to increase the rent by downsizing. My wife always talked about her but I have never actually met her but now I can see why she has made a impact. she is a lovely person and kept a smile on her face.

Came into the office today to inquire about storage space for my motorcycle for the winter, and the representative was awesome. Even though there was no place for it because they didn't have outside storage, I was still so pleased with her perfessional way in handling me. Today I vacated with the property manage Tina and omg she is completely AWESOME!!! I remember the first time meeting her she was new to the property. I went into the office with a whole bag full of keys because I was unsure which key was the right key for my lock. She patiently helped me look through the entire bag and simply replied "I am sorry none of these keys match our locks" all I can do was laugh and fill out the proper form to get the lock cut. Also coming to pay my storage bill each month after that she always kept a smile and made me feel welcome. Well The moral of me telling my story is because she will go above and beyond for the customers and as I told her I will truly miss her. Thanks for everything Tina 😉

Helped a friend move in stuff at this location met the property manager Jasmine. She was friendly and helped us find dollies so we could move everything in easier instead of lifting and carrying the furniture ourself. She also told us about moving quilts they sell that you put the furniture on.

Not only is this a storage place but they also sell packing materials. They have a great deal on boxes you buy some and get some free! I told jasmine what I was packing and she gave me a great deal and showed me everything I would need.

Came to make a payment on my unit and met jasmine the new property manager she was really friendly and made me feel welcomed once I walked in the door

Jasmine is a great worker, she went through all the details of the moving process. My boss was able to sign the paperwork and start moving in right after. She is very nice so i suggest asking for her.

Followed up with any problems or concerns of mine in a timely manor. I would normally pay online, but with his pleasant and personable demeanor, I opt to go to the store to pay. With much at our fingertips nowadays, and people just being in a hurry, people like Eric are a rare find. Kind, honest, trustworthy. Because of him, I would have no problem whatsoever recommending this facility. .

Eric the station manager was really excellent to work with. He was always accessible and responded promptly to any and all requests and/or questions that I had. He displayed a very friendly customer centric attitude and was always checking to see if I had any questions or needs that he could address for me. He made my first experience in using Public Storage a very stress free and positive one so I will certainly use Public Storage again in the future should the need arise.

Today I worked with Jericka and she was very helpful! I received a quote and reservation confirmation on the phone through public storage corporate and it did not work in my location. She was very helpful in working out my problem and helping get me the best deal for me. The facility is clean and easily accessible. Definitely would recommend to others.

I rented a unit from this facility for several months and was very satisfied with the cleanliness of the building and the courtesy of the staff. Eric was absolutely amazing and I enjoyed talking with him. He really worked with me to help me get what I needed. He was always available and very friendly. Thank you for the great experience.

The facility was clean and the staff were great. I vacated the unit on the 8th of the month. Public Storage will only pro rate payments and provide refunds up to the 6th of the month. They can rent the unit the very same day if they have a customer. Somehow doesn't seem right that they would not give a longer window to refund. The middle of the month seems fair to me.

First and foremost, the customer service is very accommodating and friendly. They are always willing to help whenever and wherever they can. I also love the fact that this facility is open late. It's a great help when I have to get there after work since I come in from New York City. I feel secure when I get to the building and am comfortable while I'm there. The temperature controlled building is very helpful when you need to be there for an extended period of time. Having come from another storage facility, I would strongly recommend using Public Storage.

My daughter and I went to public storage in east hanover for some boxes the associate Nicole helped me with the supplies she also asked if I was moving stated I wasn't but she took the time out to show me some different sizes of the storage. At this time I don't need space but when I do I know where to go Nicole was very pleasant and helpful, she suggested some ways that my daughter can pack her stuff which meant a lot to us both.
