When I first moved into this facilty's storage unit, it was fully staffed. The sign-up process in person was smooth and efficient, and someone showed me around. Since the pandemic, the place is unstaffed and frequently not open - even during their own business hours. I've stopped there on a Saturday morning on my way out of town to drop off items I did not want to lug around in my trunk and nope, not open! This was at 9:15 a.m., when the posted hours are 9 a.m. to evening. The sister facility down the street that is staffed was also not open. Both places had posted phone numbers for "live help," which only went to extensive and elaborate voicemail systems! And Sundays, forget about it!
My first impression was not so good. The online process was great no issues. Every was in place as stated by email received. However I was surprised to see garbage in the middle of the floor providing issue when placing my items in storage. Requiring me to somebody else junk to get to my storage. Also I was informed that there was flooding on the 2nd floor, but I was never notified of the issue until I arrive. No notification, no email no communication. How would someone know if there storage was impacted? How would that be communicated? please DM me with protocol.
Also the hour open. I realize I pay less due to the available hour for access the facility, that being said, why not increase the access hours over the weekend when people are off. It all automated and to my knowledge no one is physically present during access hours. Youre open during normal work and school hours, however most would need access in the evening after work and school and rush hour traffic. You provide very little access hours during hours where people are off whether it's during the week or on weekends. Take the time to ask your customers what there needs are, not what's convenient for business.

Mr. Terry is a very dedicated staff of Public Storage. He follows through and ensures you get value for your money! This is my second time at this storage. This is simply because of his unrivaled customer service despite the fact that he runs the 2 public storage offices on Broadway concurrently! I feel he deserves a big raise!
So I reserved my rental online for May. They called me in March and told me I needed to come in person to complete my rental which was false as I completed it online. They used a pushy tone telling me to "take action now!" and I wonder if they wanted me to come in person so I would start my rental early so they could get more money. Stingy. I didn't go in person or take any action and my rental was fine.
Really confusing to find unit as they’re not in numerical order which is absolutely crazy imo. There's also no sign for the elevator. Thankfully really nice woman who worked their showed me my unit. When I came back to move in I called because there was no dolly cart and the guy told me there was nothing he could do since it was self service. They should have more carts, or at least a staff member on sight during hours. I found an unrelated cart from Loyola University to use. Thanks Loyola.
Overall the experience could have been better but I guess it’s a public storage so you shouldn’t expect much. Only using out of pure necessity can't wait to get my stuff out of here I don't feel confident.

I was charged twice and the property manager jorge went above and beyond to help me with getting it back and also helped me settle in. I didn't expect this level of service by this hardworking and smart employee.
The service Terry provided was definitely 5 star. He was patient and extremely helpful today. There were a few issues starting with changing my unit because there is no elevator to access the basement. He was knowledgable, understanding and accomdating. He gave me a tour of the facility, made sure I was satisfied with my rental, and made me feel welcomed.

The manger Terry was the most redeeming thing about this facility. He will work with you if you can't get a payment on time and he is super nice. The second floor is hot as the seventh ring of hell in the summer time though. The storage space was readable in price when I got it in 2015 but every six months it went up drastically. The hours of operation make it hard to access your belongings if you are a 9 to 5 worker.
Terry was very helpful - showed me my initial storage and then helped me navigate the system to revise my reservation in line with expectations. I am very satisfied with the service.

I answered this post on Facebook I came down to pick up the stuff all it was is outdated food junkie furniture trash nothing worth of value I figured all they wanted to do is use somebody to clean up their storage units for free I don't know what turnip wagon they fall off of I strongly advise don't answer any posts such as this on Facebook or do not offer any kind of service you'll be wasting your time

Our unit had a break-in and we were not notified. Our locks were changed without our knowledge and for the past week we have been trying to access the unit finally got in yesterday after all the hassle and to our surprise one of the box was opened and the belongings were everywhere. We cleared out the unit immediately. I am in the process of filing a police report.
In my opinion, and from my experience, this place operates very poorly. They increase your rent without notice. Mine went from $35-$106 … same unit! Nobody is ever available to discuss these price increases. I would not recommend.
There’s not enough time in the day to say everything that’s been bad about this place over the past several years that we’ve been there. The hours continue to shrink it’s impossible for anybody working a 9-to-5 job to get there during the week before they close. they close at 5 PM on a weekend which we use our space for commercial purposes so that’s very difficult. They had a flood or something which our unit ended up sitting with pooled water and they did not call us to let us know to check our property which caused mold on half of our stuff. We are severely allergic to mold so now we had to get someone to help us with that. They almost never have a cart by the door, there’s only one for the entire building. The bathroom has been locked for two years and there’s almost never a staff person around when you need one. on top of that, the price has doubled since we’ve been there. Bonus. After their fire prevention went off at some point all do our stuff was coated in Fire retardant. We were never notified to check our unit this caused a ton of extra clean up work before we could user our property for an event. Wish it was better because the location is convenient and we’re loyal customers but it’s been very disappointing.
Staff is great, Terry was quite helpful with the check in process. Shena was also super polite when I came in for a lock return.
Update: My unit was one of 45 units that were burglarized at this facility. The police are investigating. However friendly the staff, the security of your items matters more. My unit was locked and secured in accordance with the company policy and it was not secure enough.
Absolutely awful place, broken into twice in one week, valuables were stolen from my unit and the power was out when I arrived so I couldn't even get into the building. Never anybody at the management office to answer calls and no one around to make sure security is tight. Store your things at this location if you want them stolen.
the women that works there named sheena is best she made the whole experience easy for me which made my day easier and i greatly appreciated that she deserves a raise in my book need more people like her

Greedy corporation that will give you a low price the first month but will raise it double the second month and keep raising it from there. We started at $50 and in less than 2 years we’re almost at $250. Refused to not only discount our space for charity or even wave taxes but also took money from us that could have been used to help those in need. Awful attitude towards nonprofits and it’s the whole company not just this place.

Came in to pay my bill an Terry always gives great cusomer sevice.
Small facility, no manager on site, dirty, dusty concrete floor with garbage left by others, rude customers block the drive in making it impossible to get into your unit, especially when you are in a hurry. I didn't like that place.
Storage unit has leaked multiple times, destroying several hundred dollars worth of merchandise. Management is continuously unable to be reached. There are literally puddles around the facility after a heavy rain. Avoid this place.
Terrible storage facility with very damp interior and extremely limited access hours despite the fact that you are supposed to be able to unlock the gate with a code or from the public storage app (contactless entry). There is never anyone working here even during so-called “business hours” so why should access hours be so limited? Do yourself a favor and store your stuff elsewhere.

I highly recommend against renting a unit at this location.
I Have rented various spaces here for 3 years, each time getting larger units. Just moved into a new unit on the first floor, got settled/organized and have been told I need to vacate the unit for work on the building… the proposed replacement unit is smaller and on the second floor and is not an acceptable alternative unit. No discount has been offered for the inconvenience of moving, the change from the first floor to the second floor, or for the reduction in unit size. Appalling customer service for a long term customer.
Other remarks on this location:
They have slowly reduced access hours of the years to the point that it can be tough to get into my unit on a workday.
The elevator has no light so when the door closes it’s pitch black. This is also not a cargo elevator.
It’s almost impossible to get in touch with a human being when things go wrong and this location has no permanent employees.
There used to be a complimentary cart to use, but that’s been missing for a while.
Multiple times I’ve tried to access the building the access system has been down.
The main door to the outside was broken and wide open for about two weeks during one of the coldest stretches of winter.
In conclusion, go elsewhere.
