Public Storage strikes a balance between the Gucci, climate controlled, highly monitored facilities of Uhaul, and the sketchy hands-off roadside units. Sure, it’s a little rough around the edges, but it’s easy on the wallet, modestly climate controlled, and secure enough to keep you from looking over your shoulder while you’re there.
Service was always top-notch. Alana in particular was always proactive and knowledgeable about every aspect of the business. She should definitely get a pay raise for all of the personalities she’s forced to manage each day!
Would highly recommend to anyone needing to free up some garage space, or in the chaotic transition of moving!

Had the worst experience here with customer service. Avoid this location at all costs. In particular, if the management can read this, then you have a very unprofessional named Alana (or could be a midget) working here. She is the least unhelpful person I ever encountered. You are losing customers with this person at the reception. Replace her and thank me later.
This location also raised my storage price from like $200 to $350 almost overnight. Highly recommended against renting this particular location.
From start to finish my experience with Bill was pleasant. He was very professional and helpful. He got me in and out in a timely manner and I would suggest this storage location and Bill's customer service to everyone in need of a place to store their items.

Today is 9/2/23 Gabby called me in the morning to let me know my lock I put on was upside down & my unit was not locked or secured. I went down there and she showed me how to lock it securely. She was also so friendly. Great customer service. I now know I picked the right place. Thank you.
Kolbie has the most amazing customer service ever. She greeted me with a smile and was so helpful to show me the unit before hand. I got the unit that best fits my personal stuff. I truly recommend getting a storage unit here. Come see Kolbie she's the best.

After the fire at this location, we were blessed to find out our unit was safe!! However we had all of our wedding items in the storage unit and needed access for just a few days afterwards. We emailed public storage and Joseph was kind enough to allow us access and definitely saved the day!
In August of 2016, the unit that I was running at this facility was burglarized and everything I owned was stolen. I had no help from the facility with the investigation. The management procrastinated about getting any kind of video surveillance to local authorities. I as the victim, was not allowed to see any of the footage to identify any of the items that was removed from my unit. The attorney, also one of the managers of that location, said to a judge, "when a unit is broken into, it is up to the renter to deal with the police. It is not the responsibility of Public Storage to do anything about it." I have all documented proof. Including the transcript from small claims court.
Had a wonderful time speaking to keelie. She was very knowledgeable about all my questions and even had moving supplies that definitely came in handy!

Great location however company will trick you into a promotional rate and then youll find increase rates every 4month. Went from 5x10 storage unit at $79.00 for about 4mo. then recieved rate increase to $110.00 and then again 4mo. later another increase rate of 151.00....they basically try told your stuff hostage....now I know the game basically you need to change stroage locations every year......

Keelie has been nothing but helpful, cheerful and honest in assisting my transition to the Cottle location. I'd also like to give special praise to Erica at the Snell location. I had a reservation at the Cottle location which mysteriously "disappeared". Customer Service said "no problem", we'll get you another storage at your location (Cottle) for only $92/mo more. The other option was the Snell location for only $40/mo more. Erica called me from the Snell location after a new reservation was submitted, listened to my story and took it upon herself to locate storage at the Cottle location, contact her boss to get clearance to make a special pricing arrangement, contact Keelie with details, and in the end I ended up with an arrangement identical to my initial reservation! Erica did all this for someone who wasn't going to her site! Absolutely unbelievable effort to help a customer with no reward for herself (except maybe this review). Thanks again Erica!

Just had my rate increased by 36% !!! (Second rate increase in the last year and a half. It's now up 60% from my move-in rate.)
Not sure why, it's not like they have rising transportation costs to recoup or something. :-/ I guess they just know that you are stuck once you have moved all of your stuff in. :-/
There should be an annual percentage cap though like on housing rentals. This is just ridiculous.
AND Be warned! Often find screws & nails everywhere on the property. Got a flat tire on Saturday but thankfully after writing this review they offered to reimburse me for the tire repair. Happy otherwise, but now I will be walking the lot before I drive into my unit every time I go. :-/ Hopefully, they will remedy this issue going forward, as they have promised to do.
