My wife and I had to store about a 2-bedroom apartment's worth of stuff, so we went on the hunt for a storage location. The Public Storage on Capitol Expwy popped up as one of the closer locations, and had very good reviews everywhere we looked. When we went to go check out this location and other places, this was our first stop and our last. The facility is great!! Mike and Nahid are super friendly and keep this place in great shape! We couldn't be happier with our storage unit. We paid a fair price for it and all with no hassle. It is now a week later and all of our stuff is moved in. We're in an indoor space, and out of all of the days we've been there (which have been the hottest we've had in the area for the past few weeks), the temperature inside was surprisingly cool. This was a big surprise to us and really sealed the deal on this location. If you need some storage space, come check this one out, Mike and Nahid will help you get what you need! We can't thank them enough!

Alana, the property manager was always helpful and just a joy to talk to each time I went in. Renting a unit was easy. I would say that the only thing that were annoying is that the elevator would go out of service on occasion, but Alana does her best to keep things running smoothly

Great location, and great staff who care about the property's upkeep. Eli, the manager I mostly dealt with, is super friendly and basically knows who is coming and going on the property which makes it even more secure, of course not being intrusive to tenants. The only con is regarding the PS in general that the space they advertise is not really the size you get, so measure it before renting to know the size and avoid running into problems later, of course they do talk about this limitation in some note somewhere, but who reads all those small footnotes. As for access hours it is limited due to COVID at the moment, however I hope this would change sometime in the future. Overall a great place and convenient to access, deserves the 5 stars.

This Public storage location is fantastic. The most helpful and knowledgeable employees and the managers are professional and accommodating. I have had a large storage here for 10 years. The location and is clean, secure and easy to access. I would like to mention the most recent employee who helped me. Her name is Angellica. She went out of her way to help me and was so pleasant and courteous. She really made me feel like a valued customer. That is rare in customer service these days. It was appreciated very much. I keep my storage at this location because the staff and location are top tier. Bring your business here.

If you're in need of extra storage for those summer toys you've purchased this year, or clear out the guest bedroom for an actual guest, or just downsizing to a smaller home and can't decide what to get rid of..my suggestion is Public storage. I was confused about the whole thing. The women in the office answered all my questions about promo's and the right size storage I would need. Got me to the perfect storage at a great price. I even got all the supplies I needed. I have to say I wasn't expecting for it to be the highlight of my day, but she walked my through it with a smile on her face that was contagious. I actually had fun. The facility is very clean and well maintained. So when you're looking for that extra storage, I recommend to go to the Public Storage on Capitol Expressway and talk with MICHELLE! Again THANK YOU Michelle, you're fabulous.

I must say This new property manager has the property well maintained and clean unlike the last one she Does things in a very quick manner its awesome . came in the office was greeted with welcoming manner , mentioned about the hallway lights near my unit . in less than 15 mins She was changing out the light bulbs and putting on new ones . If you had asked me to review the Auto Mall location back in Dec 2018, I would have given this review no stars due to a young woman who was extremely rude and indifferent about acknowledging you as a customer/tenant. God, I hope she's gone... haven't seen her lately, not that I ever did before except for the one time. I've been with PS for over a decade and I rarely interact with the office, but had to when I went to purchase a bundle of boxes on 4/12/19, Sandra V. helped me with the transaction. Sandra a very professional, friendly, and personable. She advised me that there was a change in the management and I can definitely notice the difference. I'm just hoping and praying that this lasts! The ground are clean, but sometimes the last building will need some sweeping now and again. I haven't had to hunt down any dollies in my last 3 visits last week which is a BIG plus. The indoor facilities seem very secure and I trust my belongings here.

Upon review on the property ( Great location for me ) with the Manager Shaun, found the place to be clean, accessible and she worked with me (great customer service) on options as to unit size/pricing and no pressure at all to sign up. So I was curious about renting a unit at public storage and I went to a few of them but this one stood out. I was helped by a representative named Shawn and she was the friendliest and most professional service rep I dealt with while looking at public storage. She answered all of my questions and helped me out more than any other public storage rep. Highly recommend this location and this rep.

My storage unit along with some dozen others was burglarized sometime between Aug. 22 and Aug. 24. In fact management said it happened over a period of two days before they contacted me. They insist they're not liable, but when they claim they have security (gate codes, elevator codes, security cameras at both locations, motion sensors, etc.) how can this go unnoticed for so long and no one be caught? To make matters worse, they reduced the hours you can access your unit using a misleading claim of "technical difficulties." Further insult to injury just this morning they notified me they're increasing my rent after just a few months. Btw, the police that created my police report told me he has visited Public Storage many times due to burglary reports and recommended me moving my stuff ASAP to another storage management company.

Nevermind!!! I was asked to give this place a 5 star rating when I rented my unit 6 HOURS AGO!!!! Which I did. I was also told the hours for the access gates were until 9pm, so I had plenty of time to start loading my unit. When I arrived at 5:58pm, I was told the gates were closing at 6pm and I was not allowed in. So on my FIRST DAY RENTING THE UNIT and with a truck FULL OF STORAGE ITEMS, I was not allowed to get into the unit that I had rented just 6 hours earlier. This is all after I had to surprisingly pay $45 worth of “administrative fees” and forced to buy a lock from them because we are only allowed to use locks they provide. So SURPISE!!! You can’t unload your items, even on your first day, and you have to pay a bunch of hidden fees. I just vacated a unit with another company to go here thinking it would be great to be closer to home and save some $$$. If this is what you’re trying to do, don’t bother. Grass isn’t always greener on the other side I guess.

The front desk person was rude and obviously hated her job. The elevator wouldn't work and instead of trying to help me figure out the problem she told me we would have to just carry our couch up the stairs instead. If I wasnt in a time crunch I would've gotten my money back and gone elsewhere.

I had researched all the nearby storage facilities, and this location seemed to have the best reviews. After visiting and talking to Lilliana, I can see why. She knew exactly what she was talking about, gave me several options, listened to what I was looking for, showed me a unit, and that was all I needed to rent a unit! She even told me I could get a better rate by logging into their site from my phone and securing a reservation. Lilliana is awesome!
