I bought a storage unit in an auction and when I showed up there Robin was amazing!I was having a bad day but after my experience with her it was much better! She was so helpful and her attitude was great, it was just a bunch of little things she did like helping me load a heavy air conditioner into my truck, letting me borrow a lock for the night, taking something to the dumpster for me and opening the gate for me! I never write reviews, but i had to for this lady. Purchased a storage today from Sharron. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised of how accommodating she was. She was incredibly thorough in explaining the process, how to set up app and how to use pincode. We really felt welcomed and her professionalism was 5stars. This location and in particular "Robin" are nothing short of amazing. I had a partner in a storage unit that went sideways and required that law enforcement got involved. The situation put me in a position of needing to vacate my unit immediately. I was in Ca when all this happened and felt very vulnerable and that my belongings were at risk. I made contact with Robin and she kept me well informed as things progressed. She was able to keep her corporate office involved while providing me the necessary flexiblity to get back from Ca and to successfully vacate the unit. She even handled the coordination of a local handyman I hired to remove a piano that I was unable to get out on my own. This type of customer service is unheard of anymore and I want to thank Robin and all the staff for their assistance with a very stressful situation. I highly recommend this location if you have the need to rent a storage unit.

No one is ever hardly in the office and paying online is a $10 convince fee on top of the paying rent. WTH! So with my job as a truck driver I have no time to play tag with someone and pay an extra fee. Find a better solution please like hire more people?

I like the location, except the traffic on Meridian is a %**## to get through. Some employees don't answer the phone when on duty.

I tried renting out a unit and they gave me a parking spot. And when I saw that was incorrect I tried calling for WEEKS and going in person to the location and never was able to get ahold of anyone. Finally one of the associates Nick. Who was so nice, reached out to me and talked to me about the issue and agrees I should get a refund for I didn't use the spot, I've been trying to contact them and they didn't even take all my information down. They didn't get my title or registration for my vehicle. The MANAGER on the other hand does not want to give me a refund and says it's my fault for not coming in sooner even though I ha e been trying to contact them for weeks. How is that my fault? They didn't even do their job by not collecting all the information for my vehicle. So I spent money I couldn't even afford to spend because I was moving and on a spot I don't need and I'm not getting a storage unit because they couldn't transfer me and now I don't even get my money back for it because the manager wants to be selfish and steal money from his customers. Who knows who else he has done this to but you better believe I will be taking legal action. That is not ok and that is not how you run a busines.

We had a great experience at this location. Not only did the gentleman help us immediately, but was very helpful and gave great recommendations. He showed us the perfect unit, walked us through the doors/exits, and talked about the locks. The renting process was easy and quick, signed a few papers, made a few decisions, added my partner on as an authorized user. The guy even gave me a discount, which helped more than he could ever know. I wish he gave us his name, I can’t find it anywhere but he made our experience an amazing one. I will be recommending Public Storage based off this interaction alone

Introductory rate is good. Convenient location. After introductory period, rate jumps up a lot. Found mouse droppings in my unit after a year. I don't store food in my unit. They try to take care of problem with some boxes that I assume are mouse traps. Decided to move my things out.

They have rats! They chewed up all of our furniture, pictures frames, and a lot of our expensive belongings. The rats ruined our stuff and we’re going to have to take most our stuff to the dump. There’s rat pee and poop on everything. Don’t store your belongings at this place.

Please do not rent a storage unit here. Zero stars should be an option for places like this. The location is infested with rats and even better they will continually raise your rate. Mine has gone up over $100.00 in 18 months and I’ll have to throw out many of my possessions due to rat excrement. Save yourself the hassle and money, go elsewhere.

Rented there for about 2 months, came in one day to grab a few things and noticed rat/ mice droppings on my stuff. Packed up and moved out.

I rented a small 5 x 10 unit for a few months between moving since I found the prices to be the most reasonable nearest me. I was greeted by courteous staff, and overall was quite happy with the service. Especially for the price. The reason for knocking down a star was that the building was not sealed very well, and therefore, there was a LOT of moisture buildup in the unit I rented. I had to visit it about every 3 weeks to change out the big moisture absorbers I put in. The unit I rented was somewhat dirty as well, but for the ~$60/mo I got it for on sale, I couldn't complain about having to clean it before I moved my things in honestly.

I was late on storage payment. I paid in Full last Monday. I showed up today to move my property out to a different storage unit and the clerk Shayla refused to allow me to move out because she cut my lock after I was late on payment and I communicated to Sandy weekly letting her know when my rest of the payment would be paid I was making smaller payments to catch up. I called her district manager to force her to unlock my unit so I could move out which took a half hour of my day. RENTERS BEWARE!!!!!

Rats pooped and peed everywhere and insulation all over. I asked if I could get some sorrt of compensation for dealing with this literal biohazard. I was told to file a claim with my insurance...?!

I reserved my storage online with the intention of avoiding a long wait. Sandy assisted me from start to finish, she was very kind and knowledgeable. She took me to the unit I reserved and was very detailed with the paperwork. She answered all my questions and explained fees. Only con would be all the fees, although they have promotions it defeats the purpose....

This place is a dump. To start, the district manager called me about 10 times two days after I moved in to accuse me of either breaking in to other storage units or giving my code to people who were doing it. These break ins and his accusations happened SEVERAL times to where I told him to NOT even give me a code because I was tired of the calls and worrying it was MY unit broken into. Now, I had my purse stolen and so I had to cancel all my credit cards and change my bank account. I forgot to update this auto pay account and they’ve charged me a late fee. I paid my bill and asked them to waive the late fee because it was an honest mistake and I have a police report to prove it. They refuse to waive the late fee. They also said I have to call the district manager to take it up with him because he doesn’t call people. Funny how he had NO problem calling me over and over to accuse me of breaking in. I am moving my things out as fast as possible. Do not rent here, they are awful and the place has break ins ALL THE TIME.

I just started renting here with my girlfriend and so far I love the property and the staff. Belinda was the associate that helped us with renting our unit and she was awesome. Omg! Worst experience ever! I was at another Public Storage location on Canyon Rd & paying a ridiculous $118 for a 5x10! Plus depending on what day of the week the 6th was on we were late unless it was a Friday. Automatically $20 late fee. So we were paying $138 a month! & a month after moving or stuff there, they changed the hours to only access your unit from 9-6pm! I've never heard of such stupid hours in my life! We work during the day. So we finally got tired of paying such high prices, so looked for another storage. Found Public Storage in Tacoma having a great price for same size so i was speaking to manager & he informed me of a Puyallup location that was closer for us so we went there. The lady was extremely rude to us. The second we walked in. She told me before she could do anything i needed to pay my balance in full. What balance? I was told by an older gentleman that worked for Canyon Rd, cuz i told him we would be out at end of month. He told me if we weren't then we needed to be sure to pay for the 1 day on the 1st. So the Puyallup location rudely told me that i was speaking lies & they are all owned by same person. Well if that's the case then wht not the same prices & same hours to access units?! Anyways, she told me she wasn't going to rent to me unless i paid for another month with Canyon Rd. Why would i pay 2 storage places in the same month?! I told her if the guy had told me i had to pay for another month then we would've been out of there on the 30th. & i would take my business else where. She yelled "good!" I have rented on & off from currently locations for the past 8 years, but we will never pay ANY Public Storage anymore money!!

Reserved a space online and got a prompt follow-up email and call from the office staff. Set an appointment time to come and pay for the unit and do all the paperwork. Rodent problem that they do tell you about.

We had the WORST experience. We moved from Colorado and needed to store our belongings. We were told about the moisture so we were aware of that. However, we were not informed about the rat problem. We went into our storage and noticed some rat droppings. We informed the office and was told they could give us a dustpan and broom. Nothing else was requested, no traps were set and nothing was followed up on. A week later, we go back to find the storage unit smells like rat urine and we had rat feces and urine on clothes, blankets, wood, blowup mattresses were chewed, drawers had stained urine, and wires were chewed. We filed a claim with the insurance company we were required to have. Come to find out...they will only pay $250 for damages. Do not use them unless you want your stuff to be ruined by rats.

The staff is super nice but their system sucks. My autopay got turned off automatically (there was some confusion with switching over accounts and their computer did it automatically) and I didn't get a call, or an email, or a letter, or anything telling me that. So then my account goes late and they don't call about that either, and if they did, they didn't leave a message so I wouldn't have known it was important enough to call back on anyway. Then I call them to straighten it out, and they tell me that they can't waive the late fee even though they acknowledge that it's not really my fault because I had a late fee waived last month (when all of the switching accounts confusion happened). The location is also inconvenient, but they were the only place I could really afford. So...not using them in the future and I would totally move all my stuff to another storage unit if I could.

Location wasn't hard to get into or out of; Meridian is a pain to turn onto, but you can exit onto a side street using the Les Shwab parking lot. Short term stay this time. I called 30 minutes prior to arriving in state needing a storage unit and Steven took awesome care of me. He listened to my situation and showed me a unit to better fit my needs. He could have just put me in the reserved unit, but he realized it was easier and more accessible for me in another unit. Steven was very professional and even followed up with me a week later. This was the easiest and most pleasant experience I have had with Public Storage.
