Modern example of right hand doesn't know what left is doing. I vacated my unit before my bill was due, informed company via phone call and 3 weeks later, I'm getting calls, texts and emails that my bill is due. No matter how many times I call or who I talk to, no resolution.
Make sure you open and close doors to see if they function correctly, my storage unit door was damaged since day 1, we didnt notice till after, they wanted to give me another one after I had already organized everything In there. They took my lock off for a late payment I made, and now I'm more behind payments as they ridiculously Increased my price from $140 to $258 and with late fees it's $53 and keeps increasing. Being that they alert you on putting your stuff on Auction even if you make partial payments. I regret coming to this place, we are always afraid of coming there n not finding our belongings. It makes it harder to keep up with payments as it keeps going up higher n higher every month. There's other places I searched n their prices stay the same thru out the whole time. When I called customer service they said the property manager is allowed to increase prices for maintaining the place, so basically it comes from our pocket to fix their place up.
Amazing customer service at the 9120 W. Broad St location. Jawaan helped to get us the best location and a great deal for our storage needs. Adam jumped in with great energy to make sure we got what we needed. They were both super nice and helpful throughout. Edited to 4 stars: I was charged twice and struggled to get someone on the line after several tries to explain the charges, despite leaving a message for a property manager. The general public storage customer number - to speak to an agent - was also challenging to find. When I reached them were helpful and revealed a credit on my account that you can’t see in the app that I was asked to download. Not the best post-transaction service. I would recommend making the app more robust for transparency and creating less steps to reach a human to resolve issues. inconvenient after thinking everything was appropriately squared away.
This place is horrible there's never anyone there and customer service just sends you to a managers voice mail that will never contact you or call back. I've been trying for days to get ahold of someone to get access to my unit I won at auction.. do not recommend this place unless you don't mind talking to a computer that won't help you with anything

I called in today with questions about auto-pay, Kevin and Trevor were extremely helpful! Lol I think they noticed my sense of urgency while calling from work. They were kind and assisted me immediately. I received a confirmation email as soon as the call ended, and I returned to work shortly after.
I appreciate you guys for providing the customer service I REALLY needed today! No hassle, direct communication, and solved my issues in a timely manner. Keep up the great work!

I've had nothing but Awesome service from 1901 W. Broad St. Public Storage! The staff is super nice, very professional and the facility is very clean. The prices and the discounts are amazing! I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a space to store their belongings.

⭐️I would NOT use Public Storage unless absolutely necessary! We needed a storage unit for one month and were NOT told the next month’s rental was due one week after we rented the unit (even though we paid a full month at the end of a month)! They presumably sent me an invoice(which I did not receive)and they failed to call the number on file before cutting my lock off! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Kee was amazing! He proactively checked our locker to make sure there was a lock on it after alerting me they cut ours off and helped us close the account out a few days later!

I had a fantastic experience with Taylor at this location. Despite feeling a bit frustrated, Taylor made my visit delightful. The storage facility is spacious and has a pleasant atmosphere. As someone who values cleanliness (I have OCD), I was pleased to find the bathroom extremely clean. I was pleased that a lock came with the unit when I didn’t have one of my own. She explained my payments clearly and patiently which I greatly appreciated. Her assistance and willingness to make sure I understood everything were truly commendable.

Facility used to be more well kept, but now it's always unkempt and dirty.
Location was great at first but just got hit with my second price increase in a year, a 30% increase! Meanwhile the condition of the property has deteriorated. Trash everywhere and not a worker to be found!

My father has a storage unit here for the last two days no one has been here during business hours. We have called & left messages that have still not been returned. When he was told to come to this location to pick up his key. Also, called the number on the door, still no answer. All in all just a bad experience.

Sam was extremely patient and helpful during my visit today. I needed to rent two storage units for my business and the process took a little longer than expected. We rented 3 storage units for 4 months following an out of state move to Glen Allen. My experience with this facility has been top notch - they were helpful and flexible with finding me the right size spaces when moving in (had planned for 1 large unit but ended up needing 3!). And now we are moving out and they are demonstrating the same customer service and flexibility with our move out process. Steve, the property manager and Delonte have been so great to work with. I highly recommend!
