Absolute rip off. In less than 2 years the price doubled. The late fee is $100 a month. When we removed our stuff, over half of the units had a second lock on it.
Trevor, the district manager has no compassion for the customers. It’s all about money with public storage.
The employees aren’t trained with the correct information. When I told Trevor what his employee said, he said well if you wanted correct info, you should have read your lease better. Rude!
Please find a better facility and a better company than public storage. An employee offered me to put my unit in someone else’s name to save money and get new promotions every six months because she told me the company is all about ripping people off. Those were her exact words and she said she has been doing it with customers for years to help them because the company and higher management does not care about the employees or the people who rent units from them.
I am begging anyone who is looking for storage to NOT GET PUBLIC STORAGE!!! You will regret it!!
Uhaul is absolutely amazing!!! Climate control units that are safe and the rates are wonderful without a ridiculous increase every 3-6 months like public storage.

Bait & Switch, This property will lure you in with a very cheap rate. Given it is in a decent part of town, in a climate controlled facility they are reasonably clean. There is no property manager on site, you have to use a kiosk that will connect you to someone who knows where. You sign with Public Storage on a by monthly basis. Your experience may vary, but with me, every 3-4 months you will receive notice that your rate is going up, this has happened since I moved in. I have a "Large" unit, and it was about $80 cheaper than using PODS so I moved my stuff in. My original rate was $192 (June 2023) it is currently $282. They did give me a rate freeze for 3 months in that timeframe. It took me about 2 weeks to actually talk to a property manager, when I did she was kind, and offered a smaller unit for a reduced price. She could not speak if that price would then be raised further (to my current). She stated there was nothing she could do and I could move out all together. I am lucky enough to be able to handle this financial commitment, others not so much.
Good place to store stuff that you don’t have room for or don’t want to store in your home. Monthly rates are a lot less than some other self-storage companies I researched. This location is climate-controlled and has elevators. The only thing lacking is a human on the premises though they do have a kiosk in the former rental office where you can get in touch with an actual person who is very helpful. When I first started renting at this Public Storage location there was an employee that would give tours and explain everything. They also used to sell packing supplies but that was discontinued when the kiosk was set up. All in all I would recommend this Public Storage location.
I never moved in the unit the I called and told the person I spoke to to let them know that I will not be needing the unit no more they then went and took money out of my account I called to get my refund back I only received my locked charge but not the money for the unit I never used and was supposed to be cancel I have call and call still haven’t gotten my money back and it been over a week now so someone need to put my money back to my account not a check back to my account the same way u took my money out is the same way I want it back
Please be aware that clear communication with the person behind the machine in the entrance space is difficult because it is an echo chamber. As an absolute newcomer to the process I was very grateful that the manager behind the machine was able to explain repeat and assist me through the process.
After being moved out of storage and didn't do insurance claim about property messed up that can't replace the send me a bill for 706.00. They never return calls, man is major jerk and disrespectful. Never have I seen a company ran like this.
After a frustrating ordeal with Uhaul storage, I called Public Storage (right next door to the uhaul!) Their customer service is EXCELLENT. I rented storage for the first time and the lady was so friendly and helpful. I didn't have to hold for long when I called, and the whole experience was just quick, efficient, and not at all complicated.
If I ever need storage, they're the only business I'm calling!
Raised the price of my unit almost $50 per month with no warning. $260/month for a unit that's not even 12'x12' is terrible.
SKETCHY MONEY HUNGRY COMPANY
Do yourself a favor and do not use Public Storage.
1. When I first tried to move in, the property manager was not there for hours at a time and no one would answer the phone. Look at the other reviews, NO ONE IS EVER THERE.
2. When she finally arrived she did not have my unit cleaned so I had to wait around for that.
3. For the first THREE months there were fleas all over the 3rd floor/unit.
4. They will increase your rent for NO reason. When I talked to customer service this is what they said "The rental increases are computer generated based on current market rates. Unfortunately there is no cap on the amount or how often these occur. We do not have a guide on how rental increases are calculated."
....So what they are saying is that a computer will randomly increase your rent without notice. What is even sketchier, is that they will you a post card with the price increase even though ALL OTHER communication is via email. I don't live at my house, hence why I have a storage unit so I never got the little post card.

We're having a positive experience so far. Their large unit is not one that I would consider large unless you can stack everything high.

Please reconsider...I have been using this storage location for about 4 months now. I did lots of research ahead of time trying to find the perfect location to house my business inventory. There were several factors that encouraged me to choose this location, specifically the great customer service reviews, the access hours and cleanliness of the facility! However within the last month, all of this has changed dramatically! To sum it up, there is NO staff on site any longer! What used to be office has now been replaced with a wall that has a "full service kiosk," that I have yet been able to access. This kiosk has remained behind a locked door for at least 2 weeks! There were at least 4 occasions when I could not get into the sliding doors. Please keep in mind, I'm trying to pull inventory for my business and cannot get access! There were several times within the last 3 weeks that the property was filthy! I mean trash, boxes, broken glass, even mattresses & furniture -for several days at that! This last few times I went, the elevator was broken. I called the # claiming it was to a live agent during business hours and got a voicemail 3x! The elevators certificates appear to be expired! One elevator doesn't even have one! It's getting real sloppy over here and I'm in search of a new facility! Also keep in mind, I called the 800# and was told it would take up to 72 hours to hear from someone! I needed items for the next day and couldn't even get upstairs to obtain them in time which makes me look bad to my customer! No apology, no compensation, not even a return call from the property owner/district manager! They need real people back on site immediately! If you are someone who will need regular consistent access to your items, keep looking!

Prices to high after 6 months and increase every 6 months
Staff seem to move at their own pace. Should you need to get help from them, be mindful they arent in a hurry :-/
