North Houston Storage Units in Interstate 45
This Houston Public Storage is located on the east side of I-45 just north of Gulf Bank Road. It offers cheap storage units to the community on the north edge of town.

I've never had to rent a storage before. I went to so many places and was shown soooo many high prices. This was definitely the best place I found and cheapest. I called and got a cheaper price rather than walk in. Manager Maxine was awesome and super quick! Definitely would recommend this location!

Poor service…they will take your money! Got the wrong info and no apology all at. All I got was “I see the wrong info was sent”. Inconvenienced me and I’m out of money. I work in customer service and I would fix the situation, especially if it’s MY error! Update: I was told the account was closed and they refunded all my money back after they told me they can only refund the money for the lock. Now I got a letter from collections saying I owe them money.

Yes I am Jerome LaGrange I had a storage unit at public storage 9030 North freeway Houston Texas 77037 my storage reasoning got broken in unit H061 the property manager call me and told me someone booked it inside my space but it's really unbelievable they don't have any back cameras in the h building direction I heard many reviews on there that they are breaking in storage unit in Sterling I lost entertainment center if either the district manager has something involved to do with this cuz this is really strange and weird how could they lock be taken off the space and it got broken off without any door damage in my unit was put in for auction at the same time so I'm guessing they stole my internal center inside the storage because it was very nice and quality but I am getting a lawyer and I am taking more for the action in this I revise anyone to rent at this property ❗❗❗❗❗ do not rent here do not rent here do not rent here do not rent here do not rent here do not rent here do not rent here❗❗❗❗❗ once your storage are put for auction they will automatically go inside it and they will take your s*** themselves and call you and tell you someone broke in it realtalk
Lolita was very helpful and very nice and clean
My move has been a pain but Lolita and Maxine made storage a smooth operation. The office was busy but they were professional, efficient and definitely knowledgeable. I had a ton of questions, I was indecisive but they made sure to make sure I was good with the unit, I understood policies, pricing and everything else I needed to know. They were patient with me and I greatly appreciated that.

Spacy storage units very well secured
Customer service is good. But the building smells horrible an alarm system constantly goes off. It is a shame how they have the employees working in this building.
I swear these people are trying to get people out. Iv been there 4 years now they know I'm gonna pay my bill but drill my lockout. So I gotta buy a new one I paid two months of rent and and then was gonna buy a new lock with the extra 20$ I didn't have 1.67$ change and she wouldn't even put that $1.67 on my account.. now for being such a big business you'd think they would be a lil more help. Especially since the shut down they are no help to the people
Surprisingly lofty spaces for less than the normal price. Has at least two levels. Has buildings easily organized. A little difficult to turn in time to get into the correct parking lot as it is near an intersection and a highway. Rental unit was clean but slightly damaged when we viewed it so we made sure to take pictures. Pictures that I'm too lazy to post here, to suffice it to say that some of the plasterboard is missing in the corner, and there was some sealant that had dripped down the Walls and no light bulb. But the space is cheap. Running at about $50 for a 4X 12. If we compare that to the ones relatively close by, you'll notice a promo for rent for a dollar, and get your first month for just the price of the tag / key. This is kind of a scam because they also charge you for insurance. This place possibly doesn't. I'm not sure as it is not my account. But I was impressed by the price.

Made a reservation online, and I had to switch the date. Went to the location and was assisted by Kristin after business hours. She was extremely helpful, she changed the reservation date was able to create a gate code, so I could move in that day. She was very knowledgeable and gave thorough instructions for entering and exiting.

Public Storage needs to work on keeping employees at their properties during business hours Public Storage needs to reduce the $20 convenience fee charged to pay over the phone I am not happy with public storage and I rent a unit from them within the next month I am considering moving on to another storage facility not because of their prices renting that unit there is reasonable their customer service is not too the level that it should be charging people to make a payment over the phone $20 is highway robbery public storage is doing that robbing the American people instead of helping them

The gate to enter to your storage is never working it's always broke and they're always complaining about you leaving late and it's always close around business hours it's hard to get in touch with the people in the office that works there hate it

I was pulling into the parking lot of this facility about 2 weeks ago and I was going to rent here for my company. I seen a young lady with long curly hair with tattoos and of light Complexion wearing a public storage shirt outside yelling at what I would believe to be a customer. Employee was clapping her hands and pointing her fingers at the individual and yelling. I do not know the situation but I do see that the employee can not conduct herself in a professional manner. I understand upset customers but do not act in this manner. This is unacceptable. I see public storage accepts this behavior and for this I would not rent here. I went to a competitor to rent for my company. Do not rent here unless you would like to be treated like you do not matter.
Initially I thought this was a good storage facility.....That was until after 30 days in storage all of my furniture was covered in mildew and was either WET, or drying from recently being wet. Upon investigating the unit #3 when you first drive through the gate. The ceiling leaks all over your items. I will never use this location again.
Excellent service and reasonable prices
I have lost a lot of what was only valuable to me in this place. Some of my college gear; some of my Army gear; some of my (now 18 and 20) children's things from when they were growing up. This place started out as my inexpensive option to escape an abusive relationship and still keep some of my things. It turned out a nightmare. They constantly raised the rent without notice. As a disabled veteran with no income, it became increasingly difficult to make the inflated payments. Eventually, I lost my cherished belongings to a Public Storage auction. I endured a great deal of stress and hard work for the little that I was able to acquire over the years. Unfortunately, one of my first big purchases (a huge, upright freezer,) is now gone. No one there was trying to work with me in any way. They just kept raising the rent and piling on the fees until they could take everything I had. This place....

0 stars, this place sucks they start you off at a low price then race it by $20 every 3-6 months. They say insurance is a requirement and it is not. Place has rodents and its in a flood area!

woman told me that I needed to purchase the insurance in order to get the storage unit. when i went to another location the clerk told me no that's not true that is optional. don't lie to customers in order to get a sale. If you need money all you gotta do is ask me if you want something to eat. Lying will get you nowhere.

I wasn't too sure on a storage unit and the location. After talking to Alicia Megan they made me feel better about using a storage unit and I will definitely be choosing public storage. Very informative workers ,very clean place.

I came in and Meagan helped out. I have been renting here for 5 months and she just keeps on going out of her way to help me. I recommend this place and tell them to ask for her because she will help you out.
A few years ago after going through hard times I needed a storage. It was days after Christmas. I put my kids gifts they received from my family in a unit. I bought their lock and insurance. They broke the lock and I had no receipts. I got zero back and still pissed. I always thought in the back of my head...it was the people working there. You know when you can just tell...but that's just my opinion.
Mandy was very helpful, informative, and supportive, and made great suggestions on the storage. Informed us about the humidity and how to take care of it and items being stored. Excellent personality. Great service.

Came in to view a space but ended up not rented. I still wanted to let the world know what excellent customer service skills Ms Chanee has. She showed me the unit i was interested in but the prices just were not in my price range. She showed me more in my price range and searched properties but the size and price never worked out. Meanwhile she kept a smile on and assisted me in every which way. She is very patient and kind (not to mention easy on the eyes) and knows alot about utilizing the space. Keep it up!!!

Chanee did an excelent job after the initial problem of not having the reserved area ready for my visit and acquisition. The lock was apparently left on the unit and she was unaware it had been left there. She remedied the situation by following up and finding out it was actually left when the location was shown to another customer. This allowed me to acquire the location the following day. The location is what it is. Storage. There is a gate and cameras for security. The customer service is great. Would have easily of been 5 stars, but had to remove one star because I won't be able to move in now since I have to reschedule to get help and will be paying a few weeks without being able to use the property until I've rescheduled.

This is my second storage rented from this location on North Freeway & Gulf Bank. Service was so special this time that I had to put my review in. I showed up 15 minutes before closing and late for an appointment I had for a storage facility rental. I was hesitant to go in because I was almost sure I was going to be attended with an attitude by the employee there..... boy was I ever wrong. I was greeted by a very friendly smile and welcome. The nicest attitude I have ever come across by a customer service representative. Tiffany, went over everything on the contract, showed me a couple of storage spaces, to make sure I was getting the one I needed, answered all my questions and helped me with the contract. She even stayed 15 minutes after closing time to complete the deal. No attitude, no pressure, everything was smooth and delightful. I highly recommend this location and Tiffany as your sales rep.
I have reserved a couple of units with Public Storage and Tiffany has always provided the most excellent customer service. She is always professional, knowledgeable, helpful and extremely courteous. She treats the customer with respect and I have noticed her calm demeanor when handling situations that arise. Tiffany is an excellent employee who represents Public Storage well. Really great experience Shawn was very professional she called when I made my reservation to let us know the storage was available as soon as possible and we could come in to rent the unit once we were there she greeted us with a smile and showed us the storage locker it was more than enough space she suggested we get the glass box divider to sort my moms old antique china glasses since some had broken in my car saved me a great deal from my mother but, overall she was very polite she made my rental quick and easy 5 stars from me and my mother

Today I went into the Gulfbank location only to inquire about a medium size storage. I am planning on moving in the next two weeks to Houston from Dallas. Alexis was very helpful even when I was confused on the size unit I may be in need of. The fact that the location is right off the freeway will be perfect for me do to never living in Houston. Alexis is amazing and very helpful and patient.
