Michael was very helpful with the whole process of adding an extra storage unit to my current one, it was very seamless with everything that I needed.

This location continues to charge after you leave. I stopped using my storage two weeks before the end of the month. Nobody was in the office to close the account. I went back two more times and called a total of 5 times and nobody was there or would answer the phone. On the last visit the gate was still wide open so I went in and looked for an employee as people were standing around the office looking for one. When I couldn’t find one I exerted and left a message telling them I had been trying to cancel my unit for two weeks. I got a call back a week later telling me since I had driven on the property looking for an employee I was required to pay the next months rent. Even after my explanation and confirmation that they had received my message they still said I owed for a unit I wast using and tried to cancel multiple times and they said they would send it to collections if I didn’t pay. Pretty bad customer service.
Wonderful! Paul met me at my vehicle and welcomed me to Public Storage based on an online reservation I had made earlier in the day.
This location is convenient and offers a low entry price but renters should be aware of aggressive rate increases. I signed in January at $60/month and by June (just 5 months later) received a 40% increase. After calling multiple times, I managed to get a short-term adjustment, but by September the price was going up again. The staff told me these increases are automated and unavoidable.
Most storage facilities wait at least 12 months before raising rent, but here the pattern seems to be every 3-6 months. This makes it risky if you plan to store items long-term. For example, my in-laws also rent here and now pay over $220/month for a similar unit.
If you only need short-term storage, the initial price might be attractive. But if you’re planning for longer use, be prepared for steep and frequent rent hikes that can double or triple your cost within a year.
Also, even if you have an “indoor” unit it does not protect your items from being covered in dirt from frequent wind storms in the DFW area as there are gaps for some weather issues. I would definitely opt for a true climate controlled unit if you do decide to store here.

**DO NOT RENT HERE!** BEWARE
Public Storage constantly increases your rental rates. I've experienced four increases in just two years, and now I'm facing a fifth increase of over $100—from $341 to $451 per month! My original rent was around $150 and it remained unchanged until Public Storage took over the facility.
Additionally, the light in my storage unit has been burned out for over four years. Every time I request a replacement, they respond by increasing my rental rate. The light is still not working, and they have offered no remedies or solutions. They basically stated it was not their problem.
This is a horrible facility. Do not rent here if you expect to maintain a long-term rental.

Public Storage is great! Zack was even greater! Zack got us moved to a more affordable unit that housed my vehicle. He then escorted us to the new unit which was really helpful considering the size of the property! Public Storage is a very safe, clean, and friendly place to store things that are important to you.

Have had my storage for over a year now with automatic payments set up. Just happened to look at my bank statement and noticed my payments went up $31/mo!! Called and left a message. Someone called me back a day or two later saying it's because I have $15 in insurance, which was included in the old monthly payments. Just felt like they are being deceitful and am getting rid of it vs paying conmen.
I was lucky enough to get a covered parking spot for my 34’ RV. The gentleman helping me took me to see the spot and was very helpful. I appreciate him taking the time to answer all my questions. He did an outstanding job and I highly recommend this PS location!
I was calling to see if I could get a reduction in cost on my monthly rent. They did reduce it but also mentioned another spot opened up that I could swap over too and start a new rent and saved me over $200 a month, Paul was a great help.

This is an edit of my previous review. I had a billing issue that left me seething but the staff from the local store reached out promptly after I posted and we worked out a reasonable arrangement. I'm very impressed by the promptness, sincere concern, and eagerness to work with me. Most companies these days don't care about their customers or image at all. I incorrectly assumed that of Public Storage and am glad to be proven wrong. If you have an issue, contact the store directly. Apparently they want to work with their customers and are willing to compromise.

I like the units and security. There is a consistent presence of Staff and they are on top of the moving in and out activities. The Staff is really great. What I don't like is that the price you start with basically doubles in a matter of 3-4 months. As a long-term renter for my business supplies, I have to move units about 3 times a year to reset the price hike.

You are not dealing with one unite company under (public storage) , I booked a spot on phone with the a representative and I paid for that spot + administration fee and I set an automatic monthly payment , I went to the storage to get my spot but the spot was taken for a garbage container and nothing else available . I called again to explain the situation and they found for me another spot in a different storage .
On the other storage the manager said you gave to pay the administration fee again Why? Isn’t a same company?????? Yes , but we’re a different storage you have to pay administration fees at every storage, okay so you can use the money that I paid for unused spot because your fault she said no we can’t because administration fees nor refundable, I just got wondering!!!!!!!!!!!!
Next month I got late fees on my account, I asked why again??? Did not I set an automatic payment?
They said no you have to pay the late fees, I called the customer service after long time to reach one after arguing about that problem she said yes you have automatic payment put not for this but for the other one that you didn’t use, wondering again Doesn’t all the transactions under the company name!!!!!! Again you have to pay the late fee and to delete the previous account and create another automated payment for the one that I am using

Diana & her team are the biggest headache I’ve ever dealt with in my short time of life. There’s a grey area in the policy for them to be allowed to make-up their own “rules.” No one is ever in the actual facility & now they have a “by appointment” I see why. Their customer service is awful, so they don’t want to deal with matters face to face. They will ignore your calls. I’ve had to call corporate & customer service just to get matters resolved. Due to my paychecks, yes I am late; however, I pay the account every time & bring it up-to-date. If you receive a bonus I apologize. Regardless if you need access, please get it under YOUR name & not your mother, fathers, brother, or else they will not allow access if you are delinquent. I would have left a positive review even after all of this had they had proper customer service & treated their clients with respect regardless of the situations.

They have rats. We rented a storage space online on October 1st. Upon inspecting the storage space we find a rat in the storage. We immediately went to the office and requested a refund. They ONLY want to refund us for the lock but not the total payment upon renting even though we never moved in. Would not recommend unless you like rats.

I made an online reservation for a 30’ unit a couple weeks ago. I was never able to get a hold of someone on the phone to confirm the dimensions of the unit. This morning was the date of my reservation, and when I was 5 minutes away they called me to let me know they will be closed today. Definitely not the type of service I expect when signing up to pay hundreds of dollars a month. I cancelled the reservation.
Diana helped us find what was a great storage unit for our boat but when we got there it wouldn’t work for our boat trailer. Brittany patiently worked with us to look at numerous units. It was a hot day here in Texas, she was very helpful and understood our predicament. We ultimately found a great covered space that worked out well for our long boat. Thanks so much!!
Don’t waste your money continuing to raise rent the staff on duty on July 28, 2024 at approximately 12:15 pm pick and choose what rules they want to enforce I was accused of making repairs to vehicle because I installed a battery in my vehicle but I see plenty of rules not be enforced every time I go over there from vehicle with flat tires etc. How about training the staff not to make assumptions before speaking to a paying customer I guess it’s time to move and keep my hard earned money.

It was windy and raining on the day that we were getting our storage unit and we couldn’t decide between an indoor or outside unit. We had to look at several units and Diana was extremely helpful. She never complained, was very pleasant throughout the process, and offered many insightful suggestions. We’re grateful that we were able to get exactly what we needed.

I had a very challenging move from Chicago and needed the smallest storage locker for a few boxes because I had work scheduled starting immediately and no time to unpack. So I arrived and was assigned a locker which i trusted was the one I had reserved and with limited time, went to unpack. Over the next week I started receiving calls during business hours when I was not available to speak or write anything down and given attitude about the fact that public storage employees assigned me the wrong storage locker and that if I do not move to a different locker, I will be charged more. Anytime I called back to arrange a time to move to a different locker, no one would answer. Now there’s additional charges on my account. Horrible customer service, I’m leaving this place before the end of the month.

I reserved a 11x30 covered parking space to park a boat. Reggie went above and beyond to help me find the right spot. It took several drives on the property to test lot sizes to see if the boat + trailer tongue could fit in. We tried a 24 ft - no, then 25 ft - no, finally we tried a 30 ft and it fit great. Reggie didn’t have to spend 30 minutes showing me different parking spaces. He also helped me get discounts that were offered with online reservations only. The in office price was higher — Reggie showed me how to get the best deal. Thanks Reggie!!

This place has risen our rent like clockwork every 6 months. Started out at $170 a month and has since risen to $290. Claiming its the "market value". We last minute decided to switch to a cheaper unit at a new location. Because we didn't notify them that we were leaving and had not been able to pay for the month. They would not prorate the rent or give us gate access because we were a behind for the month. The employee would not give us access unles we paid the full balance plus late fee. We were forced to pay two storage bills this month. Which we could not afford in order for us to move out of our unit.
Diana was very professional and made the process for getting storage unit easy and efficient. She answered all of our questions.
Diana is the sweetest, most helpful person! This place is large with lots of storage options, including RVs. The Security is like Fort Knox. It’s a very clean, well kempt property.

Irented two units when it was still under old management.
Then, public storage bought it out.
Everything has been downhills since then.
Management, quality, everything.
In the beginning, they jacked up my rent 25%.
That was last year. This year, they jacked it up 33%.
I was moving out, and the power went out. Someone was trapped inside, and the fire department had to come out. To rescue them.
I was unable to move out because of this, and they won't even give me a grace period to move out.
Horrible place.
Avoid it at ALL COSTS!

I already had an uncovered space for about 4 years. On my way home from the lake with my boat. I called ahead and was able to switch from an uncovered space to to a covered space. Aaliyah and Ashley were very helpful and friendly. Aaliyah even took me to see the covered spaces currently available and even helped me to back my boat into the space I chose. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS I moved in August 24th. The unit I was told would fit my belongings didn't come close. They only do the $1 move in special on your first unit. So I believe I paid around $160 on August 24th. That was my $1 move in for a month and 2nd 10x10 cost. I started getting messages about late payment at the beginning of September... it had been 1 week. I got a call and explained I just moved in, the lady on the phone said I see that, there must be an error. Fast forward two weeks they're hitting me with late charges non stop. I ask for a manager to review the calls and contact me. Crickets.
Finally get a manager on the phone, she tells me I have to be there in person to correct the issue. I'm handicapped and had both my feet broken, ankles broken, hip and back broken. I tell her I'm flying in, in 2 days and will pay her a visit. That's today. It's pouring rain and my flight was delayed. But I just landed. She called to tell me she cut my locks.
I would cut one of my hands off before I ever dealt with these thieves. I just said "there was obviously miscommunication, and I'd just like the late fees removed" crickets. I was told i did my reservations online... both were on the phone. I'm a disabled veteran and I've never seen any treatment like this. STAY AWAY FROM HERE
Customer Service: I just signed up for a covered parking space. Ashlyn was so helpful and great to work with. She explained the access hours and all other conditions very well, which seem reasonable to ensure all space users have a safe place to store their items. I look forward to using this space to meet my storage needs.

Massive complex covered parking uncovered parking climate control you name it they have it nice service as well.
Lashanda was very helpful and showed me options to meet my needs.
I paid 185 a month for a 15X25 climate controlled until I could fit my old truck and all of our stuff in for years. Downsized when it changed to Public and my bill has increased to 160 for 10x10. Absolute joke. Overpriced. Nonstop increases in the bill. Moving my stuff out as soon as I’m home. Crooks.
I’ve been with All Storage for 9 years. Now that it’s changed to Public Storage it’s the worst. They changed the hours from 11PM to close at 9:00 PM. If you’re not out by 9, you’ll get a nasty text message at 7:30 the next morning. This doesn’t work for me to get my boat back before 9 pm. So I moved to a better storage place in Haslet.
We notified Public Storage about the move but they have not cancelled the auto pay and are continuing to bill me. It’s nothing but a run around now with the automated system. The staff treat us like we’re nothing but a nuisance to have to deal with. I’ve taken my business elsewhere after 9 years at the same location. Buyer beware. There are better places with staff that will treat you like they appreciate your business.
Diana was very helpful! I lost the keys to the lock on my unit and she helped me get the lock off, saving me a ton of money on a locksmith!
Things have taken quite a turn for the worse since All Storage was acquired by Public Storage.
Nothing against the lone person that's on the staff at the Keller-Haslet location, and I'm not sure if she's still there anymore.
All calls for service or billing questions go through automated attendants and then dump you to voicemail.
After receiving strange additional charges on my credit card with no explanation as to what they were for, I've spent days trying to reach someone to help me understand what I was billed for in addition to the unit monthly payments (I rent several units at this location).
Nobody has returned my calls, and nobody is available at the office during business.
Update:
Office remodel is complete, and the office was staffed when I visited this Saturday.
The new manager under glass was helpful and courteous.
I inquired about the process of closing out all of my storage units after all three went up 30%.
Diana has been very helpful with the whole process and was very patient with taking us to different storages to show us what they look like
Came here in a tow truck to get a customer unstuck and the employee refused to let me out since I didn't have the gate code. Very unprofessional.

All storage was sold to public storage and storage fees are now due on the first of the month... which is why they're able to auction off storage units instead of having a place to store your stuff. Public storage makes more money from selling your storage than offering a reasonable date for storage fees. Would be better if they offered a 15th day of the month for fees to be due. Everything is high right now and storage fees being due on the first of the month is ridiculous! Most bills like power and mortgage are due on the first... so people are more likely to pay those bills rather than paying storage fees. Public Storage is a scam to steal your stuff and auction off your belongings and re-rent the storage spot and do the same to someone else. TAKE YOUR STUFF TO ANY OTHER COMPANY THAT ALLOWS YOU TO PAY ON ANY OTHER DAY THAN WHEN MOST BILLS ARE DUE!!!
This place was great as All Storage - absolutely awful as Public Storage. They changed the codes for entry/exit, didn't tell anyone, and when I asked the front desk attendant for help she acted like it was the biggest problem for her to explain the new codes. Horrible attitude. Canceled my unit on the spot and wont be back.
