Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 292 Fort Mill Hwy, Indian Land, SC

I’ve been paying $119 for months and all of the sudden it goes up $40????? Shame on you for taking advantage of people that have storage there and are now forced to move it!

If I could leave zero stars I would! We got our storage unit in 2016 when it was owned by a local company at $89 per month. Over the years our rent was raised over and over after being bought out by Public storage to a whopping $267 per month! We also used to have 24 hour access to the unit which was essential as this was storage for inventory for my husband’s business and we lost that access several years ago. After the final $50 raise we were fed up and moved our things out only to be charged for an additional month. After contacting PS, this is exactly what our credit email said. “Thanks for bringing your concerns to our attention. After looking into the issue with your move-out bill, we’re happy to reimburse your account with a credit of $267.00. You’ll see this credit show up on your original payment method soon. Check your updated balance for details.” After 2 weeks we still have not received our credit so we contacted support. They have now informed us that we will receive a refund in check form that will take 4-6 weeks! DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! THEY ARE THIEVES!!!!

I am a happy customer! Jason is knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. He showed me a few storage units and the different sizes that are available. His customer service was great. I look forward to storing my stuff with this public storage location!

He answered all of the questions I had, assisted me with my account, and allowed me to tour several storage units to see which one suited me the best. My experience from beginning to end was wonderful, and because of this, I am excited to be doing business with Public Storage. Jason, you should be promoted!

The facility is very clean and well maintained. Jason was very friendly and knowledgeable in explaining the sizes of the units and the cost. He happily answered any questions I had.

Very nice storage facility….been renting there for a few months. On January my storage rent increased $29. Called the office and they stated a letter was mailed to my home address in November. That is not true - I did not receive a letter or email regarding a price increase. I understand this is a month to month lease agreement and they can give a 30 day notice to increase your rental rate. I was alerted by my bank of the increase which was nice but would’ve been nicer by the public storage rental office.
