Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 309 US Highway 70 E, Garner, NC

They were very helpful and they understood what I needed

I had a move out date of 9/27/23(which I have screenshots), then received a call from a very rude employee named DOT(Who also refused to give last name or initual but willing to give out district managers first and last name Jason lambart or tanbart)on 9/28/23 past the move out date. She informed me that I had to keep a lock on my storage. To wich I informed her that in the front of the store there is a whit box that stated to return the lock (wich I did and took pictures of) she stated that it should be commen sense for me to take the lock with me (basically calling me stupid )then proceeds to tell me she put a company lock on it nd that I need to remove all my stuff. I informed her that all the stuff was damaged from RAT POOP AND PEE ( mind you the first time I did mention something about the rats the only thing they did was give me a rat poisoning to put in the storage a year before I moved out) I'm receiving a call after the move out date stating that I still need to keep a lock on a storage that no longer belongs to me where all my stuff was damaged with rat poop and pee (wich I have pictures of all the rat droppings)I called this district manager Jason Lambert on September 28th at 9:41 a.m. and have yet to receive a call back from their district manager and they are still trying to charge me for the month of October even though they put a company lock on it that I don't have the key to so even if I wanted to go get the stuff that is damaged all by rat poop and pee I wouldn't be able to even after the move out date now they are continuing to send me bills and text messages saying that I still owe for the storage I should not have to owe anything after all my stuff was damaged they put a company lock on it that cannot be removed by me and on top of that very rude customer service to call somebody basically stupid I would not recommend this place and I would never come back and I called the manager again today October 5th 23,hopefully someone calls me back because I have pictures to back up everything I have put in this review ,eventually they're going to get a lawsuit taking peoples money

While I was moving out, they locked my unit, it has been weeks now and I can’t get anyone to come out to take the lock off. I have never missed a payment. They have held my things hostage for WEEKS. I’ve been charged for another month. Honestly, go down the street and pay less for the space and get a/c and actual people. If I could give negative stars I would.

What is the monthly cost of small unit?

Last March, I opened an account at the Garner, NC, Public Storage location on NC Highway 70 in Garner, NC. Setting up my account was handled very professionally. Upon returning to my vehicle, it would not start. Katherine and another female employee there were extremely helpful to me personally. In addition to my truck not starting, my cell phone had lost power. They allowed me to use the office phone to call my son-in-law. We ultimately had to call a towing service to tow my truck to my son-in-law's house several miles away. Much appreciation to Katherine and her coworker for service above and beyond the call of duty!

Katherine was so great!!! I had reserved a 10×20 at another location but when I arrived at 1:00 PM the office was closed. My movers were due to arrived in 1 hr. I called Russ at customer service . He found another location called that location stayed on the line until Katherine was online with me. Even though she was due to leave. She stayed and checked me ln at the other location even after she had to stay past her shift!!! She Was very pleasant and efficient. I made it back to meet the movers with about 4 minutes to spare thanks to Katherine!!

The absolute worst. I can't get access to my unit and nobody is ever here. They even had the the audacity to charge me late fees no matter what the circumstances.

I'm very unhappy with this place. I gave it a chance. I have a unit here and I haven't been able to get in my unit for a week due to the gate malfunction. I've had to call a 1-800 number 2 times to get in and out of it today. No staff have been at the site during regular business hours and my phone can't open it off the app. NEVER AGAIN!!!

I called in with a few questions about renting a unit at the Garner property and Arlene answered all my questions and was very polite.

We went to store our RV at this location. Upon arrival, we noticed that there were no other RVs parked here. After a quick look around, we understood why. The barbwire above the fence in the back is compromised. Televisions were sitting on the lawn on the outside of the fence. It was clear that this was an unsafe place to store anything outside. We have left 3 messages for someone to contact us to cancel our account with no returned calls. Finally we contacted the corporate call center still with no resolve.

Front gate wasn't working so we had to go the longer route to get to our unit but customer service was great.

Usually I don’t rate businesses but I will make a exception today, the lady who attended me I believe her name was Nunu is amazing, I was a little late then I got stuck on traffic and she waited for me after 6pm, And once I got there I was stunned of her amiability and professionalisms, she was very polite and very very helpful with the process and of course very fast, I’m a businessman so interact with many people and I wish all of them have this type of attitude.

They treated me well, but when I tried to end the storage rental, they kept charging me. Even after I went in there and asked them to stop face to face. I was told I had to pay a few to end the rental. I will be honest: I removed everything but a scooter. I offered to pay that auction fee they threaten people with, but nope... They just kept charging me. I had to get my bank to block the transactions.

Always get great service from everyone, especially Nunu. Always a smile on her face, pleasant attitude and always very conscientious.

Nunu is the best! She went above and beyond to ensure that I was able to move in on the day intended. Initially, I was supposed to be onsite several hours before my actual arrival. I ended up being late because I hurt my back loading items for storage. Even though it was the end of Nunu's day, she stayed after and did everything she could to make the move-in smooth.

Courtney was easy to work with, and the whole process was super quick! The pricing was much better than any other place around, but I did reserve the space online first. I also liked that after I reserved it online they called me and set up a good time for me to come in and take care of everything.

I would give 5 stars but I wasn't given the first month discount because my spouse rented a shed about 6 weeks+ prior to me renting MY shed. Different names, different accounts but they wouldn't give me the discounted first month. Kind of not fair I feel. But...Amy tried to apply it.

It started out good but the longer you stay the worst everything is I started out with a good fair rate in a few years it had tripled I paid my bill over the internet like I always do because they charge you for paying in the office but this time there was a problem with the site I'll still able to pay online but the next day they call me and told me owed late charges even though pay the bill the site said to pay they still charge me late charges and lock me out of my storage unit

My unit was locked for several months. Really unsure how a lot of mud, pollen, and leaves got inside. Mud was splashed on all of the items in the front. As well as everything caked in pollen. Upon moving out Pam was rude. She could have answered my questions and spoke to me in a nicer way.

I did quite a bit of research before selecting this location and although this is not the most inexpensive storage location nor the most expensive it certainly has a superior property manager, Diante, who is more than generous with his time and knowledge. He is a true professional with a caring heart. His cheerful and patient manner really helped my wife who was becoming very overwhelmed due to a frustrating moving experience. This location is ideal on US 70 and located in Garner and is just about on the border between Johnston and Wake counties.

I loved the experience here because Tracye really helped me out and was extremely friendly. She made the process of storing my car fast and painless and I couldn't be anymore pleased! Thanks again Tracye!

I came to public storage recently to get a quote for a small unit. I will be moving soon and I need a place to keep all my extra furniture, household items, and art pieces. There was a guy there named Diante that was very helpful. He was very patient with me, as I had a lot of questions about the facility. The last storage unit, I rented from another company, had mold and it ruined all of my art pieces that I had. I was hesitant about renting another storage unit, but he was understanding and reassuring. I will be coming back with my boyfriend to get a unit.

Laura was beyond helpful as I had to reserve a locker from Alaska. And when we got here, she continued to be friendly and cheerful and helpful. The locker is clean and dry.

The people that worked at the Public Storage on Highway 70 in Garner was nice, I enjoy having my stuff in that storage. Brittany was a wonderful person. the only thing I don't like was the prorated rent until the 6 of the month, it should be until the 15th of the month.

Grace was super helpful and explained everything I needed to know about the storage units. She could answer any question I had and made me feel welcome.

I needed a place to store my stuff during the summer, but I wasn't sure how to rent a unit. I was lucky to have Brittany walk me through the process. She helped me figure out which size I needed and was very knowledgeable about the price and features of the units.
