Worst storage unit I’ve ever used! Soo many hidden fees and no set rates so they charge you whatever they want to charge then call you and say you have to pay your storage by such and such date or your items will be auctioned

bad experience, someone broke the lock on my storage, and some of my things were stolen, the administration never answered and the insurance was not responsible, also the price is very expensive for a small storage, I do not recommend this place

The other week I was greeted by Nina and could not have been more thankful! It's a whole week later and Nina was so great that I still feel compelled to leave this review. I'm pretty new to all of this and Nina walked me through a detailed presentation of pricing. Nina helped me find the storage unit that made the most since for my luggage and budget. Not only that, but she also helped me put a mental list together of the various things I would need to prep my move... If you're an independent young soul who finds it hard to ask for help but know you need it, this is a great place for you. Ask for Nina and leave her a review :-)

Billy Ray, is a very nice guy, gave all the instructions very clearly and explained all the insurance details and storage facility rates very nicely. If he explains something, you will not need another explanation. This place is very clean, easy to reach and I didn't have to waste any time in booking or payment! Great Place!!

After remarrying in December 2018 and downsizing to consolidate households, my husband and I found it necessary to place some items in storage. I have been renting a 10x20 space with Public Storage since March of 2019. While I would expect a yearly increase in rent, this year we had a second sizable increase that hit at a time when I was recovering from surgery and experiencing a reduction in income. When I explained the situation to Manager on Duty, Billy Ray, he listened for understanding, expressed concern while reviewing my account and showed empathy for the situation of a long time renter. I appreciate Billy Ray going above and beyond to address my concerns and offer reasonable long and short term resolutions such as, downsizing to a smaller unit for a significant decrease in monthly rent and submitting a request for a TEMPORARY reduction in rent back to the previous amount. No two situations or customers are the same and each needs to be handled on a case by case basis. However, how an employee treats a customer should remain consistent. Although I do not go to the Morning Star Place location often, every time I do go, Billy Ray always provides the same level of service excellence.

Very helpful Receptionist Billy Ray, this is my second time with Public Storage. It worked for me the first time so far so good you don't leave a good thing.

Do Not Rent here! Your first 3 months will be at the advertised rate then go up on you! They do not post this on line and will only tell you when they get you there to go over the month to month contract. Also....they will increase your rent incredibly without notice. My rent went from $123 to $166 in one Month. 35% increase!!! When you call in and ask about the increase they are rude and say "pay it or move out"!

They’re very nice and after you leave you keep the lock and keys to avoid anyone having copies!

I like that one can get a unit online without contact with anyone. My unit is climate-controlled, which is nice.

Find someplace else, unless you just want to dump all your money into this place. It's old, it's dirty, it's hard to get in/out of....oh...and they'll arbitrarily raise your rent multiple times a year (I went up at least $75/month in less than 1 year's time for a 10x20) Still, once I moved out, they continued to charge me for several months. Calls not returned, threats of liens, so in the end, I just gave them hundreds and hundreds of dollars for an empty storage unit that I had moved out of because they decided I owed them money, and under threat of liens, I paid it. I pray they're done raking me over the coals, as my next step will be to have my attorney engage. I'm hopeful we can avoid that, but given the experience so far, I'm not confident. TL/DR: find somewhere else.

A great place for all your unnessery clutter or your memories

Billy Ray is one of the most nicest guys that you would want to meet. Very personable. He takes his time to explain everything in great detail. He answered all of my questions. He walked the property to make sure that I was satisfied with my space .. and if that isn’t enough for you... He’s also a Vet. Best experience ever @ public storage

I'm ONLY providing a 5-star review because of Lori's (25988) selflessness and leadership! When I arrived to my unit it was locked and a property manager unexpectedly left due to unforseen circumstances (per the sign on the door). After calling customer service and waiting over an hour, Lori contacted me to see if I had been assisted. Once I informed her that I was still waiting, she left her site to assist me! I am so grateful! My movers were charging over $100 per hour, so I was pretty upset with the lack of communication and service from this location! Thank you Lori for saving the day! I appreciate you!

20x30 unit…I got this unit in November of 2020. Within 2 months they wanted to go up almost $100. I lost my marbles and they kept it at the same rate for an additional 2 months. Just after my 1 year, my rent went up to $663 (started off about $470). When I first got the unit, not all of the lights worked. I had to go online and publicly complain for them to even CARE to attempt to have the issue fixed. Those units have been there for 20+ years. They’ve been paid for.l!!!! How do you justify this ignorance?!?!? I wish there was a negative star rating. The people that I worked with on site were very nice. Based off of the rent for Public Storages hundreds of units and the fact that it has been there for so long, I hope they all make 6+ figures!!! -5 stars!!! Would totally advise against!!!

I was in town on my truck route and needed to get information on a unit since I will be moving to town and I spoke with Maryland, a very nice older woman and she gave me everything I needed. She was such a big help that I will be renting with you.
