Public Space has a nice facility in Chapel Hill that would have received a 5 star rating except the doors do not open using the App (as expected) and we were required to insert our lengthy code manually every time we seek entry. This is a circumstance that should be fixed immediately and never should have been allowed to exist. Further, there are no lights within the cubicles. I can understand why individual lighting for each space may not be available, but I have rented many spaces which have lighting that is independent from the space itself by being suspended from the ceilings above the collective rental spaces. Moreover, the hall lights are set to turn off after a few minutes of inactivity "in the hall". If you are working in your space, you frequently find yourself in the dark trying to get back into the hallway to re-activate the lighting. This scenario creates very dangerous working conditions.

I had a great experience using this Public Storage Location. Facilities were ultra clean and accessible. All entrances were locked and felt secure. DJ helped me with throughout the process and did an excellent job. He was very clear and concise and went out of his way to help me. Highly Recommend!

I only used this storage for a few months but the service i received here has left a lasting impression on me. When I moved in, my movers were a nightmare from hell and made my moving-day extra stressful for so many reasons that I can't get into here but, DJ (the rep at Public storage, the one on 72 Marvin Edwards lane) was helpful beyond what his job required, patient beyond what the job demanded, toward the movers that literally tried his patience. I was worried he might just refuse to service us because he didn't have to take abuse from anyone for anything but I think he did understand/feel my anxiety and didn't want to contribute to it. Never have I ever met any service person that went above and beyond like DJ!! what a great soul! yes, the store is great too. Storage facility is clean, the app is easy to use and the facility has easy access.
