My unit was broken into. It was a mess, and I don't even know what was stolen. In addition, I was told that they pro-rate the move out. They don't! They took away my access when they noticed my unit was empty but charged me for the whole month. And good luck talking to someone, no one is ever onsite. Horrible customer service! No security! No cameras!

Although I had a unit for little over a week, Mary Rose was very professional and helped me on my moving in and moving out process. If I ever need storage again, I will definitely be using this public storage again. 10/10 customer service.

Customer service is top notch. I had some concerns when I wrote my 1st review; 2 different people from the business reached out to me to address my concerns. Customer service has taken a serious decline in today's society; It was very refreshing to have someone take the time to explain & ease my concerns.

Annoying getting in and out due to there being posts so close to the pin pad you can't hardly reach from the car.

Without any reasoning my cost has gone up 50%. They plow the snow right up to your unit so you have to shovel yourself in and out of the unit, the handles are all rusting off the doors, and as a long time customer to be price gauged like this with no vision of where all the extra funding is going is ridiculous

Using this Public Storage location was so easy and convenient. Every single employee with whom I interacted was so helpful and efficient, they provided outstanding customer service! The app and website made it really easy too.

I was living near Plymouth Minnesota in 2019 and needed a safe affordable storage space. I chose this location because the staff there is so phenomenal. The manager and one of the representatives Tiana have really been gracious towards helping me keep my unit with my personal belongings. . Covid 19 put me out of work and its been tough just keeping up with my payments. I am now living 10 hours away. But f you want a storage facility that cares and epitomizes excellent customer service . I highly recommend you go to this facility they are the best in the Midwest!!!!!

Great place to keep your extra stuff!! Easy and safe in & out access. Staff was accessible and very helpful. When I no longer needed the unit, it was easy to close the account as well! Very pleasant experience overall!!

Great experience with renting a unit at this location. Rachel was great from the beginning. Consistently checking in over the phone to make sure I was going to make it to the "move-in" time. After move-in, she walked me through everything and was very clear on rules and regulations, etc. Refreshing experience and would recommend Rachel and this location to anyone.

My wife and I have just moved to Plymouth Minnesota last week. We definitely needed a storage unit near our new home. Having been a former stock holder of Public Storage, I was looking for a Public Storage branch that was close to our new home. I was happily surprised to see that there were at least 3-4 locations that suited our criteria. I must say that in all the locations we visited, each of the clerks were very friendly and helpful. We finally chose the Public Storage location just off Hwy. 169 in Plymouth, MN. We were particular impressed with Rachael , who was not only friendly, but very informative. She spent the time with us, explained the details of the rental and was patient in answering our questions. In addition, she gave us many helpful tips on preparing our items for storage . When we left the office, we felt comforted that our precious goods (not necessarily monetarily valuable but meaningful to us) would be safe and secure there. We came back and signed up for an 10x15 unit with Rachael. I am happy to see that Public Storage retains good dedicated employees like her. Michael Tan M.D.

The raving reviews online are wonderful but public storage pathetic. First the price you see online isn’t really what you pay. They have a mandatory insurance cost as well as a $20 lock that only works with their doors. And what they don’t tell you is the advertised price is only temporary! the price of my unit doubled in 6 months. Everyone fails to mention that when you are moving in. I specifically asked and was told my price would remain until I was out. Now when I call anyone they say “every unit has a price change around 6 months”

Update to review... Very unsatisfied with my 6 months at public storage. Unit leaks water very badly. Most importantly they increase the rate after 6 months. So the "rate" offered WILL increase after six months because it's introductory. Mine was nearly 25%. Also, I was offered a lock purchase discount to leave a positive review on google.

Unbeatable prices, but more importantly Rachel did an outstanding job helping me find a storage unit. She knew exactly what I was looking for and she went out of her way to make sure I was happy with my unit. Friendly and very customer oriented. 5 Stars!

The public storage facilities are a great place to store your excess property that you don't have room for in your house or apartment. They have excellent security and very reasonable hours.

First of all, I truly believe in acknowledging those who are worthy of acknowledgement and the service that I received when I visited this particular facility would fall into that category. Upon entering the facility I was quickly greeted with a smile by a young lady behind the counter (Rachel) in a very professional manner. I explained to her that this was my first experience with Public Storage and she assured me that she would do everything that she could to make it a comfortable experience. She was very patient with me and took the time to answer all of my questions. She even took me around the property to view multiple rental units to ensure that I obtained the proper size (which was good because I had severely underestimated the amount of space that I would need when booking online). After making a decision she took me back to the office to complete the paperwork. Rachel was very thorough in her explanation of each document and confirmed that I understood what I was signing prior to moving on to the next form. As an insurance professional I understand the importance properly explaining contracts and I believe she did an exceptional job. She also made sure that I was aware of the variety of products and supplies offered by Public Storage to assist with the move and storage of my belongings. SHE WAS GREAT!!! Because of how Rachel treated me as a customer I hope to ONLY deal with her in the future and have referred others to this particular facility.

I’ve stored with this location three times now and have been completely satisfied each time. Hopefully you’ll get Nicole to help you out, as she is the best! On top of it all, I was really wow-ed when I moved out and didn’t have time to stop in to close the unit. The next day I got a phone call saying that they had noticed my unit was empty and asked if I wanted to close over the phone. This was a very pleasant surprise, because I set every reminder on my phone and calendar to finalize the bill before the next month came and I got charged again! Rather than keep it on me to remember, they proactively helped me expidite the process! Thanks!

Autopay is horrible. Manager of 169 location confirmed auto payment went through as received. A week later I was notified by the manager of a completely different location that the payment did not go through. When I disputed the late charge for a payment confirmed as received the manager of the location seperate from where my property is stored raised her voice, demanded payment, and hung up on me. For the 3 months I have held my property in this location (Plymouth at Hwy 169); I repeatedly get charged a late fee, despite my confirmation and receipt of my payment via autopay for storage. DONT USE AUTOPAY! If you decide to use autopay and something goes wrong, don't expect Public Storage to show any sympathy or be cordial, for that matter.

Rachel helped me and sister-in-law get into a storage unit the same day and was extremely helpful and polite. The whole process took less than 15 minutes. The unit itself was clean and well kept. The facility is clearly very secure and easy to access at the same time. I highly recommend this facility, especially if you are lucky to get with Rachel.

I rented storage from Rachel and she was really nice and accommodating. I like the property also because there are many security cameras, so I feel my belongings are safe.

I have been a customer at Public Storage for 5 years now. Has always been a pleasure dealing with David. He goes out of this way to be helpful, has called me when packages arrive. He has even called to remind me that rent is due! Very happy with this location. Mary has also been a smiling face when I stop in the office.

Today I stopped to see the wardrobe boxes, and Mary helped ne. She was informed about the products there. Im not sure if I will actually get one, but enjoyed the experience. Thanks Mary!

Today I stopped in to ask some questions about storage lockers and how I'd go about renting one. My son will be coming home from college on a few months and staying with me for a few months. I met Mary, she made me feel important even though she had just met me. She was very nice and helpful. She showed me 2 different sizes, since I wasnt sure what hed all need to store. She told me how I can rent one. I asked her many questions about storing. And she had an answer for every one of them. I didn't understand about the insurance or why I would need it, but she told me I'd be storing at my own risk and its always best to be protected against Minnesota weather. If my son does decide to rent, I will send him to see Mary! I could see her smile was genuine!

I was looking into rental units a short while back and talked to Dave (I don't remember his last name, but I believe it started with an "R"...) HE showed me what was they had to offer and when I described what I would need room for, he recommended a certain size. Unfortunately our move fell through, but if we do get started again, I will definitely be talking to Dave again. Thank you.

David is a great manager, the place is always clean and everything is always in good working order.
