I recently ran into an issue after booking a new storage space through the app, not realizing some of the site-specific limitations beforehand. Chris at the Golden Valley office took the initiative to reach out to me proactively—before I even contacted anyone—and made sure I understood the situation and had the support I needed.
He then worked quickly to troubleshoot options that best fit my specific needs and resolved the issue almost immediately. I can honestly say this was one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had in a very long time—anywhere.
Chris’s professionalism, kindness, and efficiency genuinely changed my perception of the Public Storage brand for the better. I don’t usually write reviews, but if he were on my team, I’d do whatever I could to keep him—because someone like me would be looking to hire him.

Would be a 1-star rating but corporate fixed the issue; still tempted to give it 2-stars for how egregious the other people invoked tried to treat me leaving my property in limbo for 36 hours but I'm so grateful for this one woman i can't.
There was a leak that cause me to have to transfer my things to another unit (luckily I hadn't moved my stuff in when I noticed) but they didn't inform me to fill out a transfer form before they cancel me previous account therefore unable to transfer. I talked to three people - one on site, one local, one foreign call center rep. who refuse to give me original rate and the two local agent were threatening me to move my stuff or sign to pay $50 more dollar contract and the one not on site gave me a bogus number to his boss.
When I asked the call rep. for a supervisor he claimed they'd tell me the same, but by God's grace, the corporate supervisor fixed the issue that was 36 hrs in limbo within just 5 minutes. She single handedly redeemed 3 stars for this review,I honestly say she single handedly earned them 5-starz it's just those three people had Public Storage in the negative. In these time when customer service is in the trash, I will appreciate and remember her integrity and support forever.
Spoke with a gentle lady at this location and she was very helpful. I didn’t catch her name but she assisted me with basic login instructions and helped me create an account which allowed me to see my access and storage unit. Very helpful. I also spoke with a gentleman whose name I did catch (Mike) and he was also of great service. Much appreciated everyone.
