Erving was super helpful during my visit to this Public Storage location. He showed me different unit sizes so I could decide what worked best, answered all my questions, and made sure I got the best deal for my budget. The whole process was quick and easy thanks to him!

Four years ago I attempted to relocate to Boston with only 13,000 dollars cash not knowing that obtaining housing was going to be impossibly challenging. I chose this location hoping that within three months time of apartment hunting I would find affordable housing for me and my two pets. Unfortunately after three months of not being taken seriously I have this negative review to share with all of you. It's been a challenging three years with no empathy from this company and no concern or empathy from anyone here at this location. I had a cc card on file but when my card expired no one here would accept payment from me over the phone so when I had to leave Boston and just decided to travel it was a hassle finding local public storage facilities all over the United states so I could pay my fees in cash. I have another storage facility from a tiny mom and pop store that never berates me, penalizes me or bullies me but this location will penalize you with a late fee, a lien fee and has increased its storage rates for my tiny locker holding a small amount of my belongings. I have no choice. I was was told they cut my locks two months ago since I was tardy and this past month I forgot February was a shorter month so they intentionally did not call me February 27 or 28th to remind me instead I went to my Illinois location and Kelly in Illinois told me there were no computer notes letting her know of any penalties . No one from Brighton called me On March 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7th instead I received one email stating I was being charged a lien fee of $80.00 and a penalty of 75.00 for my lateness. If someone from this location would have called me on March 2 I could have easily paid my late fee but rather than being honest or caring they chose not to call me so they could earn more money from me. That money could have been used for me to feed my pets or save up for a real home. I have been traveling and renting hotel spaces for three years. I have not even had spare money to put down towards a real rental but hey it's public storage they don't care if you are going through hardship it's strictly cold cash to them and a business entity has no feelings for you. I do feel as if I have been penalized on purpose because Kelly at the Illinois location promised she would speak up on my behalf but when Debbie one of the managers from this Brighton location called Kelly from Illinois the two had a nice friendly chit chat and I was not helped by either of them. I truly hope that this entity learns that the laws of karma will not shine favorably with an entity that has no concern for their clients. I do not recommend public storage to anyone and it's not a good place to deal with especially at this location. I pay for my storage fees long distance in New Orleans over the phone using my cc card but this location makes it difficult for the consumer and it's built for failure. If you run on hard times this is not the place that will help you. You will incur fee over fee over fees till you are hopeless and strapped for cash.
OH GUESS WHAT?! They sold all my belongings last week without sending me a written letter via mail. I called Susan last Monday & asked her when the auction would occur. She lied and said July 29th! On Monday when I tried paying my remaining overdue balance I found out my storage no longer existed. Found out this week the auction occurred on July 24th and no one from this property gave me that information. I have reported this company for fraud to the Federal trade Commission and now the Attorney General. Avoid this location. They had some vendor take all my moms jewelry for free, my clothes, shoes, paintings, antiques and couches 🛋 all for $0.00 John the owner wasn't even apologetic that Alejandro and Susan didn't leave me the date of the Auction. Last week a friend gave me money 💰 to pay their exorbitant lien fees but because Susan told me to wait 7 more days I lost all my memories.
Please be wary of this location.
I contacted this particular location a few days ago and asked questions. I spoke to a woman named Susan so disorganised and unprofessional when i asked very simple questions about their contract options.
Based on her inability to give me concise answers to my very simple questions i didn't feel comfortable proceeding.
I don't feel the employees actually care based on my unsatisfactory interaction over the phone. They don't seem professional.
Susan is the best. Perfect customer service! Her professionalism is outstanding! I highly recommend this location. She deserves a raise, today. Thank you Susan!!!!!!

Public storage on Lincoln Street in Brighton MA served my needs very well. You can expect temperature controlled premises, clean in hallways, plenty of wheeled Dollies for transporting furniture and boxes, and good customer service. The app does not work yet but the aspiration seems legit. The digital building entry works great and provides a good level of security. First floor storage units are expensive but desirable. A great company and great location and customer assistance 5 stars.
Juan helped me so much today. Since April 26, I've been trying to contact someone for my insurance and key to be taken off my bill and no one answered the phone after 4 calls. Today, April 27, Juan answered while covering the store and made sure to answer and fix any mistakes quickly. What took me hours with no results was remedied in less then 10 minutes thanks to Juan.
Really great place, excellent service, and they are also very nice and helpful. Extra stars for Susan for taking the extra step when helping customers. I highly recommend this location!!

The property manager Bill is a kind and helpful representative for Public Storage.
A payment got caught up in the mail and arrived a day late….prompting a late charge. Susan was on the case and quickly and politely had it removed…..great customer service!!
Susan was an amazing help. She explained that the email gives incorrect instructions on where to find your unit. She also helped explain how to close out the account. She was very friendly and explained that the lock we had from a different public storage facility would not work.

When I rented the storage unit online, everything was fine. Arrived to storage facility and the wanted to pay for the 5 months at head of time as I knew exactly how long I would be renting the storage unit. I was told by the female customer service rep behind the counter upon paying ahead that if I leave earlier, mid month or whenever I left in August, my account be reimbursed if left earlier then when anticipated date.
I knew I was not going to stay entire month of august, that’s why I asked and her response was fine and I accepted that.
When checking out earlier I was told by a gentlemen behind the counter that that I face was not true. If I decided to leave unit earlier then there is no reimbursement.
Well they have lost future business from me and I will let others know this.
I would of never stored here if I new this as there is plenty of storage facilities in Boston.
Be weary of this location and their verbal information they tell you. I took this word of the person working behind the counter.
Bill made our entire experience amazing, he is responsive and friendly. Bill went above and beyond to assist with our Uhaul on the hottest day so we could move out our belongings. Bill ensures there are always carts!! The facility is clean and well maintained.

I have several storage units at 239 north beacon street, now Public Storage. One of the employees there, Bill, has always been very helpful. Even offering to bring in his own dolly for me to use due to carts being broken. Always friendly, polite, and going above and beyond his job duties. I’m very happy when I see him because if there is any kind of problem, I know Bill will work hard to find a great solution. Thank you Bill.
I wanted to rent a unit here but I’m having issues with the online reservation and no one here EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE! Will be going elsewhere. Where there’s someone who can help and answer questions during their posted office hours.
Bill (the manager on duty) helped us find and rent a storage unit that fit our needs. He was very patient and helpful. We moved our stuff into it the same day.

Clean, climate controlled, and cost efficient. Access was secure and easy, though an unlocked bathroom would have been nice.
