I was in the office to make a payment for my space at a different location. Apparently there was a problem with the gate and many customers were in the office taking out their frustration on the young lady behind the counter. Lucia handled them all as best as she could and far better than some of them deserved after how they spoke to her.

Everything went smoothly. I had a lot of questions as I never rented before and Aldo was patient and friendly in answering them.

So I write this review with complete confidence, you will embrace your interaction with Tammy. Thank You Tammy! The units are clean, the area is clean, security cameras and well lit. The only down side is you have to get out of your car to enter your code when leaving the facilities. This is not an issue for me, but for elderly, other with injuries, etc this may not be so convenient. Overall, five stars, excuse me, six stars are well deserved!

Scammers . thieves no words to describe it.My storage unit was involved in a fire they failed to called me took them two weeks to send me a letter . They can not provide me with the restoration company that “cleaned up “ . No fire brick walls, no sprinkler system , no alarm .Entire facility surrounded with only four cameras and of course they were not pointing at the units that were in fire. Left several voicemails for general manager name Nick never got a call back last voicemail I left with my attorney phone number umber neither me or my lawyer heard from him.I have all the pictures that clearly show that stuff was taken out of the storage , now stuff is nowhere to be found . No Ashes , no signs of huge fire in my storage unit also my KitchenAid mixer was “burn “ but plastic attachments are not . My fire proved vault was burnt as well as my BBQ grill . Beyond funny . Over 50 bottles of alcohol was not touched in fire . Common sense alcohol would be the first thing that would explode, hover board was not touched wrapped in a plastic have. Haver board had recall in 2015 . I have all the videos and pictures willing to provide them gladly. Went there on Saturday was told another lie it’s lie after lie. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this place.DO NOT TRUST THOSE PPL WITH YOUR STUFF

I was in this store just to make a payment even though I’m a customer in Elmhurst where this young lady used to work, & I was glad to see her because she was very helpful. However I was able to make a payment & it was convenient for me because I was in that area. It’s always nice to see a happy person with the right personality, & that made my day. 👍🏿

I was looking to store my motorcycle and Tracy explained the process and showed me the unit. Alas, the doorway was not wide enough for my handlebars. Rather than shut it down there, she made a phone call to a nearby location and verified that they had a unit that would work. She saved me a lot of time making phone calls and perhaps visits looking for a storage unit. Tracy went above and beyond with excellent customer service.

Very professional and organized team that handles this branch. I was extremely impressed with how Tracy handled my request to update my access code while being abroad. I would have been stranded with family and 3 kids without a vehicle if she failed to update my account! I will use this facility everytime I travel out of O’Hare for extended periods of time. It’s way cheaper than parking around the airport in uncovered lots!! Thank you for making my trip back home smooth!

Angelina was very helpful. She showed me the space I asked for quickly and took care of all aspects of setting up my account without issue and with smiles at every step along the way. Awesome attitude and energy.

Went in today to rent a storage unit. Took about 15 minutes to see the unit and go through the paper work. What I really like about this storage unit is that they’re open till 9 PM. I’m from up North and storage places there aren’t open as late which is cool to know I’m not rushed to move my stuff in and out. Another thing I love is there are cameras everywhere AND if someone is trustpassing even a minute after closing.. the police are called. It makes me feel good knowing my stuff will be safe.. because I have had experiences where my things were stolen or distorted due to rodents or bugs.. which leads me to my next point. The property seemed pretty clean and didn’t have any weird smells going on like some storage places. I don’t know.. for me I’m glad my stuff is here. The staff is helpful and quick. Tracy helped me today and she made the process easy and fast and answered all the questions I had. I recommend going to her when wanting to rent or if you have any questions/concerns.

I rented a parking space at this location. My car was broken into TWICE within a month.Property manager does nothing about it.I went to Police and the officer advised me to moved out ASAP of this place.He said that they are careless and break ins happen often. STAY AWAY OF THIS PLACE!!!

They keep upping your rates and took my automatic payment off record. Don't try to update it over the phone; they don't allow this. (The owners should fix this issue) Update: Never use Public Storage! They changed my locks, while I was still paying. I drove over 300 miles to get my stuff and found out they locked me out of my rented storage unit. Couldn't get a hold of anyone for a week, so I could not schedule a time to vacate. They intentionally didn't tell me they locked my unit and took no fault when I spoke with the District Manager. (Apparently they changed and cut my lock 6 months prior to my arrival) I told them that I would no longer be paying for the unit and they should sell my locker. They racked up fees after the fact and then sent me to collections. I guess this is how public storage treats their customers. ( I was with them for over two years) Won't even respond to my calls or dispute..... Very unethical company and frankly indulging in illegal behavior. They bully people into paying money not rightfully owned, while no one stands up against them. So my public dispute is viewed and realized. Show me how you mitigated your risk when I told you I would no longer be paying and you should sell my contents. Provide me with your legal reasoning for locking me out of my rental unit and not notifying me of the event. I want to see dates/times and outreach; not a fictional account of your notification. Send me a complete list of the charges that you are claiming I owe.

While this location was ideal for my business equipment and the initial price was decent, I was forced to purchase their lock for $20. After only three weeks of storage usage the key for lock broke in the lock. Their response was that I would have to wait for the district manager to show up to cut off the lock, or I could hire a locksmith to cut it off. As a start up business every penny is crucial and a locksmith is out of the question but now its been two weeks. What a 'great' business model- the consumer must purchase our special lock, (unless they're savvy enough to show up with their own) if it breaks too bad you can spend more money or you can wait until someone shows up to help you. Two weeks without my business materials. Unacceptable I will be moving to a different storage facility and purchasing a proper lock from a hardware store.
