destroyed all our soccer equipment. rat infestation throughout the complex. staff went to check the unit and they daren't step inside due to all the rat feces. Employees of public storage at this location are not in the office, are not answering the phone during office hours. Their resolution is to throw out rat pellets like confetti at a wedding throughout the corridors. The main site doesnt have any help either online through a bot or via the phone portal. Utterly disgusting treatment of their customers and the lowest form of care & consideration to their own brand and business.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! There’s a RAT INFESTATION THERE THAT IS INSANELY RIDICULOUS!!!!! And trust me, I’m not the exaggeration type. You have to literally step over piles of rat droppings as you walk through the halls to get to your unit. OMG! Unless you’re putting your valuables in metal containers inside those storage units, I strongly would not recommend you renting from this location. And with the money that they’re making off of customers, you would think they can call somebody and get this place serviced. I’m 42 years old I don’t know if I’ve ever seen anything like this. If they let me upload pictures here, I would share. Because I took plenty of them. 🤢🤮

Facility is disgusting and probably has mold. There is an Extra Space facility across the street that is brand new and clean. The Extra Space has similar rates so go there instead of this place.

This is the most disgusting place I have ever witnessed it was severely infested with rats and rat feces all over my belongings I had to just leave everything there because everything was urine soaked and feces all on the floors and throughout my belongings. I have been renting from them for 4 years now and never had an issue, I haven't been there in the past year but went on Tuesday and I was blown away and severely hurt by all of my things having to be thrown away that I've collected over the years and my artwork which feces all in it. Severely heartbroken

If I could give zero stars I would. I brought it to their attention about mold in the unit before moving in and was told to come by the next day to get a key for a new unit. Figures, nobody in the office at noon on a Thursday. Nobody answered the phone. I went ahead and cancelled the unit and still owe my monthly rent but fighting it. Stay away and go to Life Storage down the street. Much more affordable and is clean

Disgusting property. Smells of mold and mildew. Trash laying everywhere. Left my stuff in a unit for two months only for it to be covered in mold and be chewed on by rats.

This entire move in process has been a nightmare.

Access code didn’t work and no one was in office during office hours two days in a row. Had a U-haul full and couldn’t unload. Awful experience here. Go somewhere else.

So grateful I chose the Clairmont Rd location for my storage unit. My property manager Ro is so professional, kind and gracious. I appreciate the support given by this team.

DO NOT RENT HERE. I stored my things for 4 months in a storage unit. I came back to my things COVERED in RAT FECES. Not 1 or two spots but literally EVERYWHERE. The rats chewed through my toddler's mattress. There was never anyone in the office to speak with. I called customer service three times and never got a call back from the property manager. Insurance will only cover up to $250 in damage and that itself should be illegal. The damage this costs me is well over $250. I wish I could give zero stars.

My experience was terrible! I have NEVER dealt with such horrible customer service in my life. I purchased a unit to rent. Within 24 hours I went to store my belongings and could not get into the gate with the given access code. The app in which they say can get you in as well didn't work either. After many phone calls and leaving detailed messages, we decided to just rent another unit with a different company. I have tried getting my money back as I was not able to even go inside the unit and was told "No refunds would be given!" After speaking to 2 different customer services reps (1 being a manager) She tells me the access gate should have been restarted and my code would have worked! Well, how is it supposed to be restarted if you can't get in touch with someone? I have called numerous times and scheduled a phone meeting with the property manager which ended in a 'NO SHOW" call from them...shocking I know! Beyond frustrated and angry doesn't even begin to explain my frustration! ABSOLUTELY.....DO NOT RENT from this company!!!! We ended up renting from Life Storage and our experience has been wonderful!

RAT TRAP! Found rat droppings in my storage unit today. Do not lease here. Had to make several complaints for them to fix a faulty HVAC that's been leaking for several months now. Insanely damp and not climate controlled. They've jacked up my rate within the year over five times. Horribly managed. Horrible customer service.

This is the nastiest storage unit facility I ever walked in. The trash was over flowing. There was trash in the halls and furniture. It smelled like urine. It has bugs and the upkeep is very nasty. I helped a friend move out of the unit and ran quickly to get in the shower. Just go across the street to the other storage facility.

This is the worst storage place I've been. No one and I mean no one is even on site regardless of what day u go, no help if u need. You can't get anyone over the phone. Absolutely horrible!! If you are thinking about using this place for storage please choose elsewhere. Total disappointment!! I was went to my unit and they had a lock on there even though they called, emailed and left voicemail to put lock on unit, Can't get hold of anyone to remove the lock. I cannot access unit. Calling them is a waste of time phone is only a recording and no employee in office. Horrible location .

I reserved a unit online and was told that the lock would be inside the locker. It was not when I got there and the unit was locked. Of course there was no one on site to help and no one answered the phone. Im currently being sent on a wild goose chase in order to get a hold of someone about me getting a refund. Thats all I want at this point lol

They NEVER Answer the phone, and my unit molded

This location never ever answers the phone. Staff is nice once you reach them but that’s very hard to do. Also, break ins happen frequently. The insurance that is purchased through the facility (orange door) is unreliable, doesn’t answer the phone or return emails. I lost $5k worth of valuables from my storage being broken into and my claim was never processed and I’m now a year post the claim being made.

If I could give less than one star I would. This location leaves a lot to be desired in terms of customer service and overall experience. After paying close to $300 a month to store at this location from June to October, I waited almost 2 hours for someone to assist me on the day that I moved out only to find just about all of my items mildewed and molded to the point where the movers alerted me that they cannot in good conscious continue to transport my items. It was disappointing to say the least, and to make matters worse, the young lady that I had to basically beg to assist me, was less than concerned that my items had been damaged. She passed me a brochure and took down some notes and told me to leave my items at the dumpster. I asked if there was anything else that I needed to do and she said all I needed to do was provide pictures and submit my claim since I had been paying for the insurance. Three days later, I received an email that I was being charged a $500 abandoned goods fee and upon reaching out to the insurance company, I was told I would only receive $250 worth of compensation for my entire storage locker of items unless I can prove that the building allowed water to enter. They suggested I go back to the storage building and look for where I can take pictures to show this, literally doing a claims adjusters job for them. I’m still in the middle of this issue, so I’ll be back to update once it’s been handled but to say that this is less than acceptable and extremely frustrating is a severe understatement. I’ve been moving all my life with the military and have stored with Public Storage before. But Atlanta really does take the cake when it comes to franchises being less than what they should be. I really expected better from from Public Storage.

I really am impressed with this storage unit location! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for storage. Samuel was such a pleasure to work with and he made my day with his customer service and politeness. I had an AWFUL experience with the other Public Storage at 4300 Peachtree Road NE (I highly recommend everyone stay away from that particular location). But thanks to Samuel, he made the move as easy as 1,2,3. I appreciate him taking the time to show me the unit and the facility and for giving me all of the information right upfront. I also was really happy that there was an actual representative at this location versus the 4300 location. Overall, Samuel rocks and is great at his job and this location is much cleaner and well kept versus 4300 Peachtree Road NE. I’m a happy customer now thanks to him!!

Very bad place I drove one hour away to get my unit and no one was at the facility i call multiple time left messages and no one answer I do not recommend this facility

I would like to say that Sammy Sanya delivered the best service anyone would wish, he did this with a great smile. My experience with Sammy made me write this feedback. Public Storage management has a very wonderful employee. Thanks Sammy and continue your top notch service.

DO NOT RENT A UNIT HERE. If I could leave negative stars I would. No one is ever at the front desk. My unit was broken into from the ceiling and several items stolen. I wholeheartedly believe it was an inside job. Management is NO HELP . Save the trouble and don’t even bother with this place. They should burn this down honestly.

I absolutely despise the fact that I cannot access my storage during the hours I was told. I’ll be moving out this weekend… I’m highly displeased and I’m usually very understanding….

This location has recently changed access hours and did NOT inform its tenants. Not only is this an inconvenience but it is a direct violation of the signed agreement that was put in place when I first moved in here. I run a business and need continued access to my items. Access is now until 6p most days and 5p others. This information was not communicated by any means. Imagine my surprise pulling up at 6:30p this past Thursday to be locked out of the unit. I was unable to get the things I needed for my business which in turn cost me time and money. The facility is not well kept and there is hardly anyone ever in the office. Roaches are spotted often. When I asked if they treat the facility for bugs, I was told no. I was given the number to the district manager this morning only for the number to continuously go to voicemail. For them to have recently increased the rent by $51, the way they are running this unit is laughable. I will be moving at the end of the month. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this facility. Let’s hope this facility is not a direct representation of Public Storage as a company.

I was one of many victims of break in and theft. The person interest was sleeping in the storage unit and even some of the clients I have spoken to admit to hearing snoring and talking at night coming from a unit. Myself and others plan legal action against Public Storage.

Just left this facility after reserving the unit online. MOLD MOLD MOLD as soon as you hit the hallway leading to the units you can smell a mixture of mold, pee and believe it or not feces. Whether it is the plumbing or folks living in there it is horrific. It is dark (no natural light) and reminds you of a below the ground cellar. The man who was disputing his charges for incorrect billing stopped me outside and told me that he had to through all his clothes away after renting there for several months due to mold, and that what little he did bring home began to spread mold in his home. I will not be moving my things in here. I will call customer service and cancel and will post how that experience goes. I so which that I had taken photos but I still have my access code so its not too late just whether or not it is worth the drive.

This has been the most horrible experience I have had with this Public Storage. I NEVER write reviews, however this one has to be written. When I arrived to this unit, it was filthy, very unclean and reaked if cigarette smoke. I immediately canceled my storage space and the next day contact customer service and the facility. Was told I would be refunded my money $371 and never received it. Called again and still never received it. Called for a third time and spoke with a supervisor that was so nasty and cut me off when I was speaking. I’m currently in the process of trying to reach corporate. Then they want to keep $29 of my money b/c their unit wasn’t as it should have been.

If you have a problem or any questions your best bet is to look online. They almost never have anyone there during office hours. They put a Public Storage sticker on the lock that was my property, and no one was there to tell me why, and they didn't answer my call or my voicemail.

At first I thought moving stuff into a storage unit would be difficult. Not knowing much on what to do, not understanding much on how to get a unit. But with the help of Rosalyn in Public Storage, I found everything to be easy, fast, and a very good price. This would be the best place to get your furniture or anything else safe. This was a good and easy experience for me, now you should have a good one as well!! 👍
