Nice , clean facilities, and great location

The woman who manages it on multiple occasions has yelled at me for having my service dog. She threatened to have me removed today when I came to take things post losing my home and business in the Palisades fire. I have an 11 year old dog who’s been trained to help me and she was literally yelling at me about my dog before I could even go into the building.

Horrible. Cannot use the cart when you need to use it because there is no employee working in the office.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Nobody works here. The lady said she comes when she wants to. Now I'm trying to move in and all the carts are locked up and no employees.

This Wilshire branch boasts a stellar location, close enough to residential streets and far enough from train stations; you can be sure of you and your personal belongings safety from unhoused community. Access to your unit is allowed for a full 12 hours on weekdays. At least 2 hours to 4 hours more than certain competitors in the area, namely extra space storage. Not only that but their office and tenant access are on the opposite sides of the building, ensuring your privacy and comfort on your visit. They have a loading dock that makes your move-in a breeze. Sh'kena the property manager really listens to you and anticipates your needs without you having to ask. The restroom is always kept clean and stocked. The other day someone clogged the toilet and within the next 24 hours it was back to normal.

What a day I had!! Within minutes of closing, I was able to catch the location and Santa Monica, Ca and came up on the employee by the name of Troy, who really stepped in and helped me at the most critical time. I was deeply appreciated, good personality, and willing to help me the best way he could. I was able to get all my information, my code, and everything I needed to move in with a car full of everything. What a relief!! Troy was a good representation of Public Storage.

Very clean facility, convenient location and the Property Manager, Sh'kena is friendly and helpful.

Overall this is a good storage facility until you need assistance. Heads up they actually close 20 minutes before the listed time. This makes sense, except today I got scolded on the phone by an exasperated manager who clearly thought I should know better. This is in line with all the other rude and unhelpful employees at this site. Great location, terrible customer asassistance.

I am incredibly impressed with Sh'kena the employee that works at the Santa Monica on Wilshire Public Storage. Sh'kena went over and above to assist us because we lost are keys to the storage unit(both of them). It was a time sensitive matter and she helped us expedite the locksmith in one day, she had it done!!! Thank you Public Storage for having such a professional and well equipped employee!!

Excellent service, quick and easy!

I have never had an issue with Public Storage. I rented a second unit in Santa Monica, I have had one in Miami for over a year. I don’t understand why property managers in a storage unit have to be rude or confrontational, honestly I wish I would have asked the name but I have been so stressed this week that I couldn’t even think on that. I came in with my truck I had to move out from my place because I haven’t been able to find a new one, decided to put everything in storage. As soon as I got to the storage location I noticed right away that the door for loading the trucks couldn’t stay open. (IF YOU ARE LOADING AN APARTMENT DONT COME HERE) It’s one of those doors with sensors or something. I know those doors can be locked to stay open if you need to, but as soon as I asked the manager she said they had work to do in the elevator and that they had other stuff to deal with, which I WAS NEVER INFORMED ABOUT via email nor text. She wasn’t even allowing the elevator people to do the work because “they didn’t had an appointment”, she was confrontational with me and with the elevator technicians. I got close to the office to talk to her in private she kept me at the door, didn’t let me come into the office and just said NO! Then I’m there trying to load my things and my moving company guys were trying to keep the door open to move things back and forth. I said I REALLY NEED THE DOOR OPEN, or else I’m going to be here for 6 hours. She immediately got aggressive and responsive, that I was going to mess up the door that was ALREADY NOT WORKING PROPERLY. Then she kicked me out, she said I had to leave and I said okay I’m just going to grab my things. She started calling me immature and a child. Yes I look young but there’s no reason why some manager has to call me immature just because im not accepting her denigrating attitude. Then I got upset and I did tell her “if you would have let me come in the office and talk to you I wouldn’t have to be here talking out loud in front of everyone”. I’m not sure what problem this woman has with Latinas or younger women or whatever her insecurity is, but she can’t be dumping her issues on the customers of a company where she’s just an employee. I do not recommend this location AT ALL unless they start training their staff better or change the property manager. I left the storage unit open and I’m waiting for a refund for my storage unit. There’s no way I would ever come back there or recommend it to anyone. I believe people have to start realising that it’s not PERSONAL! I’m not your friend or partner. I need to put my things in, I paid for the service, provide the service the best you can. Don’t put your personal agenda on customers because we don’t care about your personal issues, we have things to do. PERIOD.

Sh'kena was so helpful and nice. She is a hard worker and keeps her building clean. She is very knowledgeable and made my move in experience awesome. I would recommend this location any day

For more than 40 years I have depended on Public Storage for reliable storage solutions. While the workers at Public Storage have always been professional and competent, Ercan (at 3010 Wilshire in LA) has impressed me the most. This past week he stayed late to help us unload a truck when we were running short on time. Ercan provided the valuable help out of the goodness of his heart and refused a tip. America needs more service-oriented workers like this! Public Storage is very fortunate to have Ercan on its team!

I had an issue with my unit upon move in and she went above and beyond to get me exactly what I needed as quickly as possible. She even stayed a few minutes late to make sure I could move all my stuff in before they closed down for the night. This woman deserves a raise/promotion, if you have the privilege to work with her just know you are in great hands!
