Been extremely frustrated with the service here. Every time I come to the office, it’s been locked… during open hours (1:48 pm, 5:00pm, and 3:00pm). They either don’t have staff working or the staff are inside. If they are inside, they keep the doors locked and can’t hear when people need help outside the office. It’s extremely hot and this is the 3rd time in one week I’ve had to wait over 20 minutes outside of the office to get help (while it’s over 80 degrees). Please have staff available at the desk during working hours.

Public Storage in Rowland Heights, CA, is a clean facility with easy access and a spacious area for loading and unloading your belongings. The staff is very friendly and ready to assist you with any concerns. However, there are a couple of places for improvement. First, the elevator is extremely slow, and currently, there is only one working elevator, which can significantly slow down the process, especially during busy times. Second, there aren't enough dollies or carts available, so I recommend bringing your own to avoid inconvenience. Overall, it's a great staff and a well-maintained area.
Update: The staff members here are really attentive. They will listen to all your concerns and ensure they provide quality service. They are working hard to address all the improvements I’ve mentioned, and because of this, I would recommend this storage unit with the highest rating.

Find somewhere else to store your things unless you like paying an excessive amount in rent that only raises every six months while only allowing limited access to your stuff from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. . with the primary goal of only selling your things at auction and still collecting any past due charges
On a personal note my father had rented two units here and had the wall between them removed to make it double the size of their biggest unit and sadly after loading the unit passed away. I was not informed of his passing for 6 weeks and by the time I got to the storage facility they wanted I very $2000 dollars in fees I tried to explain that my father had passed and most of what was in those units were irreplaceable heirlooms of my grandparents where he had been living and they still sent it to auction the following week ... losing everything when I asked the manager to plead with the person that bought it about giving me first dibs on it he told her he has to make money and things were already sold per the pictures of the auction! Unreal my grandparents whole estate was stolen by not just ps storage bur some real low lifes in Hacienda Heights who started stealing before they even removed his body!

DO NOT RENT HERE! I rented my storage unit and when I went to go access it they had given me a storage unit full of garbage inside and broken wall. I couldn’t access the office because it was closed and workers weren’t there. Next day I go manager STEPHANIE didn’t apologize for the inconvenience and moved me to another and still made me pay more for another unit same row few units down instead of waiving the fee and being sorry I couldn’t access it the day before even tho the rent started the day before I couldn’t use my storage the day I paid for it. I rented the unit for a month and was not happy. Property was dirty and office always closed. I scheduled a move out and took all my things out before the next billing month. These thieves kept charging me for a unit I vacated and left and their employee locked the unit and they’re charging me for a lock I didn’t put. HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT FROM STEPHANIE AND HER PEOPLE. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE ROBBED AND SCAMMED.
They have raised my rates, at least five times in a year. I do not recommend this place. The staff is nice and courteous,. Not worth it

I had a great experience at this location. Michael was incredibly helpful and patient when I changed my mind about the size and location of my storage unit. He went above and beyond by walking me to my unit and showing me how to get there. His excellent customer service really made my experience smooth and easy. Highly recommend this location for great service and attention to detail!
I stepped in yesterday with a very upset mood as I just received their notice to raise the rates again and come to almost doubled as my current rate (for both units) ! I was about to petite and the smiling & kindly lady Regina said she had already put a request for me to see if there’s a chance to bring the rate down, in the meantime, Stephanie, the senior VP who I had met ever since I rented the spaces here couple years ago, explained to me the situation and comforted me, she even personally showed me a 10” x 20” space with a $1 extra deal price which could be an alternative solution in case the request will not be granted. When I checked back this morning, Stephanie told me the HQ approved it ! Thanks God ! Thanks Regina and Stephanie you both ! Were not for your help, I really don’t know what to do .. Now I feel the rate is reasonable even it had been raised couple times over years, I think public storage is considerable for their customers and do pay attention to customers’ need. Thank you again and thank you for your great employee Stephanie and Regina ! They really know how to treat customers, 5 star service with NO doubt !

Staff are very friendly and quick to help. Rates are excellent compared to other locations. Indoor storage needs better ventilation as it does smell of tires and cigarette smoke. Several carts are available to help transport items.
I won an auction here about a month ago. Staff was very nice. Lady and a man. The man returned an ID that I dropped. They even gave me an extra day since I took so long to clear it out.

This place is unreasonable. After closing at 6pm the elevator will be closed regardless of whether you have finished moving your things. And you will be locked in the gate No one will tell you the after-hour pass code. If you don't want to be locked in a storage with nobody you should choose a humane place and longer business hours Not here

I was having a issue with my gate code and didn't realize what I had done wrong. When I went into the office I met with Stephanie who works in the office. My day was feeling a little crapy but stephanie was very helpful and made me laugh. She told me what I did wrong. Regina is a real one 💪 my issue was resolved in half an hour 😎 when moving out, try to do it at the END of the month, don't be like me I moved out at the very 1st of the month but got charged for the WHOLE month per Public Storage policy 🥲 Regina informed me of the policy but she was understanding and sympathetic and took the time to make some calls anyway and half hour later she called me saying she got the fee waived 🔥🔥💯🤠🥳 I was super happy to hear this since the price of my unit monthly costs more than a Nintendo switch lite 😭 (I recently moved and now live quite a distance away, so I was unable to move out the day before to avoid the charge) and now I can put the money she saved me towards a new storage unit closer to my home. I'm glad I called! I'm usually a coward when it comes to the phone but the staff have always been very friendly.
(anyway please change this policy to avoid everyone crowding trying to move out at the same time at the end of the month haha)

Storage stuff best ever
I have been w/Public Storage for over 10 yrs. at this facility and they have always provided me with great service. Recently my storage fees had gone up 2Xs in the last 4-5 months. I spoke w/Stephanie the Mgr., who has always helped and again she came through for me. She was able to adjust the high fees and saved me a good amount of money. I am extremely grateful for everything she and Regina the other Mgr. have done for me! Would not go anywhere else.
Could not find a better self-service experience anywhere in the country. Stephanie, Regina, and crew take care of their customers. They are kind, professional, friendly, and caring.
The units are clean (lighting could be a bit better), access is easy. PS provides flatbeds for moving in and out (first come, first served and they are secured).
This is THE place to store your stuff.

Very big issues with the elevators. I was stuck for a very long time and called office more then 21 times with no answer. Needed to call 911 to get help.
