I have been with this company since 2001. I stored my mom’s thing who passed away and am waiting for the estate to settle. When I moved in the price was very reasonable, now they are charging me over $400!! I am on social security and can barely afford the high price! I feel like I am held hostage to the price until the estate settles .

I’ve been a renter at The DTC location of Public Storage for many years. In recent weeks, I have noticed a new focus on customer service and having someone regularly on site at that location. Jasmine is the newest employee, and she is not only courteous and helpful, but I have personally noticed that she takes great pride in keeping the facility clean and orderly. She always seems to be willing to go that extra mile in accommodating request, and addressing issues.

I am writing this review because I find it imperative to recognize outstanding customer service. I started the process of renting 2 storage units at the DTC location in Greenwood Village, CO, several weeks ago. As I attempted to finalize my reservations online, I was having a difficult time completing it. After calling customer service 7 times (yes, SEVEN) and being told by a different representative each time, that there was something wrong with my new account, I became frustrated and worried. I was getting nowhere and panicked because our move in date was only 2 days away, after being told by one rep on the phone that my account had actually been cancelled?! Every time I called the phone number on the DTC website, I got transferred to a different agent, but never the location (#08664) I needed to talk with. FINALLY, a phone rep gave me the store's direct line. I reached out to Jasmine, the young lady who had helped me a week prior with availability and unit sizes when I visited the store in person. Without any hesitation, she asked if I was able to come by the store and she would figure everything out. Her confidence and composure over the phone instantly put my mind to ease. She greeted me with a warm, friendly smile and did exactly what she said she would do - figured everything out! My account was now updated, accurate and expenses/rent paid. I was so impressed with Jasmine's sincere helpfulness and going above and beyond to make sure my move in date would be as smooth as possible. These days in face-to-face customer service, it is rare to meet someone of her age who exudes such genuine personality, empathic concern and intelligence.....while maintaining eye contact! Something we have, without a doubt, lost the practice of with human beings. Jasmine is a true asset to your company - valuable, resourceful, skilled. Clean and efficient . Nancy was so friendly and made me feel like my things were safe here at public storage in the dtc area . She was even outside trimming bushes so people would have a place to park .

Great place if you want all of your stuff stolen, by the manager and her friend's. Don't worry, they only take what they can fit through the top, since that's they crawl in through the top and access all units. Please confirm this with the local police department.

I am moving next month, I was shopping around and stopped at public storage Dtc first. After going to 2 other places (competitors) I will be back next week to get the unit discussed. The customer service I received not only sold me, but forced me to leave a comment Nancy did a great job, and made me appreciate the attention to detail. The other places treated me almost as a burden and were disappointing at best

The storage place across the street was closed so i came over to Public Storage. Nancy, the manger was very kind on giving me information about getting a new unit. Very much worth going here

The hours are kind of bad if you are trying to go after work as they close all together at 6 most days and 5 on some. Also the last few times it has snowed they just leave the parking lot icy which when you are carrying heavy boxes can be a huge liability. The facility itself is clean and the storage spaces are a reasonable price.

Sherrie has been awesome since I started renting here, and when she’s out of town Grace takes excellent care of me. No complaints!

Doug is the best and helped me to move out

In the midst of a move, I was in need of a storage unit. The night before I emptied my home into a storage unit I had a feeling I may need a larger unit. I contacted Public Storage and Nancy answered and went above and beyond any expectations. She offered to assist in any changes and even to meet me after her shift to set up the new space. Moving is a stressful time and Nancy made it much easier.

Rented space for years there. Nancy who works the front office is amazing! She went above and beyond in customer service for me.. I had a large tv console that I needed to get rid of and she was able to find someone to help me out and asked nothing from me. It was a huge burden lifted from my mind! I will definitely suggest this Public Storage, very happy with them.

Have been here for a month and just had to get a larger unit and Nancy has been such a great help! Definitely recommend this place, and they're always having great deals on the first month, which helps a lot!

Why does this facility think that they can close access at 5PM and that its ok when literally nearly every other location is open till ten? They recently cut back hours, and have been fixing the elevators, security, doors for the last several months. Staff is great, but this change has made it extremely inconvenient to access my belongings. If someone can explain to me this nonsensical policy, I'd love to remove this review and replace it with a less negative one. The obvious answer is they are sold out, so why not make their hours convenient for them, but when you have rented a unit here for a year and then you can only have access to your stuff 9-5, satisfaction goes in the toilet.
