I got a 10x10 here inside. The online sign up was super easy. I got first month for only $1 plus lock fee of only $20. You can open gate from your phone! As well as give elevator access with your phone as well. The place is in extremely good condition. Very clean! And the fact they have someone onsite 7 days a week is great! Is wish the access hours were a little longer (let's say from 5am-10pm... Instead of 6am-9pm). That's the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

Beverly was so helpful on 8/19/23. Another employee (from the kiosk) had said the reservation we had made may not mean that the size of storage unit we needed would be available. We were becoming concerned as we headed over to another location to possibly get additional in-person help. Beverly was at the nearby location and reassured us that the unit we had reserved was available! She proceeded to complete our rental agreement and answered all our questions and then some. She is a wonderful example of excellent customer service.

I have been nothing but impressed by this location and the management. Sierra has been extremely friendly and helpful. The facility is clean and easy to use. I had a complicated situation in that I needed a place to keep a storage container while I unloaded it into my storage unit. Sierra helped me troubleshoot this and find an RV parking space that worked well.
I’m very pleased with this storage facility and location. Sierra has been so helpful, friendly, kind, cheerful and professional. She’s always happy or full of laughter. Often times I catch her sweeping the facility or smiling. This place is secure, it’s clean, there’s usually good deals and staff is awesome. No complaints

Sierra was seriously one of the most pleasant and helpful people I have ever dealt with in a customer service position. She answered all my questions and put my mind at ease about the security of our belongings. The whole facility is super clean, no weird smells or anything like that. We just started storing stuff here, I’ll definitely update my review if anything goes south, but so far so good!

Sierra was a total rockstar today. I truly felt as though she cared about my needs and went above and beyond to make things happen. This is by far the cleanest storage facility I’ve been to and the office smelled AMAZING. Friendly service and everything was done with a smile. I couldn’t be happier with how great of an experience I had with Sierra.
I recommend going to Public Storage on Orchard and 44th, they are a million times better. I rented from here for a couple months and it was a very disappointing experience. The two front desk ladies with the same name are both very rude in their tones and interactions. Also, I was in a unit near an elevator for easy access... Just to find out that the elevator is broken and I was never able to use it.

Okay so this is a five star for Liza yes Liza with a "Z" She was very helpful and knowledgeable and answered all my questions as this was my first time getting a storage unit. She was very friendly and cheerful. Made me feel really comfortable having all the information too. Side note that has nothing to do with Liza with a "Z" Your building gets a negative 5 review! Because of what happened. Read below. I am currently stuck in your elevator waiting on help to get out. Had to call emergency services to come help us out. Your elevator is passed it's service date by two years!! No wonder. I am not pleased at all. To add to it your doorway to enter near the exit gate needs some TLC. It's very difficult to get the rolling carts through the door smoothly because of the eroded cement. Please do something about it. Beyond inconvenient and I'll never be using this place again. If I had my choice I'd take my stuff elsewhere.
Had to temporarily store an apartments worth of stuff while selling a house before moving into a new one. Two months in they jack up our rate by almost 100$. Stay away if you can, very dishonest business model.

Rented a unit from Lisa who is friendly and made it easy!
Going on a month now the south elevator is broken and inoperable and the exit gate is broken and stuck open. Better hope you don't have anything valuable stored in an outside unit. Staff keeps making excuses saying they have someone on the way to fix both these issues, yet a month later it is still not fixed. Yet I still have to pay full price for storing my valuables here when the facilities are not maintained or secure.

We have used this facility for several years. Our payments are made automatically on the first of every month via Bill Pay through our bank. Because of their faulty bookkeeping, they did not post our September payment until the 8th of September and are now charging us a late fee. In spite of repeated calls to the facility pointing out their error, the $45 late fee remains. It looks like we will have to try and resolve this through the BBB.
Won an online storage auction for a unit here. The gal working when I first arrived, who collected payment and showed me where my unit was located, was very friendly and professional. However, I had a question after hours and called their customer service line, and i ended up hanging up on the rep. She was so unbelievably rude and unprofessional, and basically told me i was NOT a customer and refused to help me. When i asked to speak to a supervisor she said there wasn't one there. FYI employees of Public Storage: A customer is anyone who enters your business, calls your customer service line or anyone you have contact with while working! You all need extensive customer service training!

After my son's passing in Tacoma while living in Atl Georgia. My experience has been horrific UNTIL, I met the staff at Public Storage. Kim and Bryttany has been a breath of fresh air. They were very understanding to my situation and and with the approval of their manager Chenelle, They all worked very well together to make the transaction as smooth as possible. I will be using their storage unit as long as I need it. And if I lived in Tacoma I would always use them for all my storage needs. Thanks a great deal Bryttany, Kim and Chanelle.

It's fair, but pay your rent by the 5th because late fees are steep. Friendly staff on occasion generally but have had trouble communicating with several on different occasions.

Of all the storage places I've been to this is by far the best. The property manager Kim is super friendly and helpful! Whenever I have an issue she's always there to help up and make my day better. She is extremely professional and just outright amazing. We need more people like Kim! 10/10 stars!
The staff is friendly but the company has bad business practices. Previously this storage company was Highland Hills. They were awesome! Ever since it was bought out by PS they’ve made yearly HUGE!!! increases to my rent! Recently received a letter stating that next month it would increase by $125/month!!! Absurd!!! Yearly, I’ve tried contacting corporate but no one ever returned my numerous calls. I do not recommend PS, it’s a money pit! Find another company to store with! I found other storage companies that offer the same services for a lot less money!
Great experience!! Kim and Brandon we fabulous! Kim was extremely efficient and knowledgeable. Getting set up was a breeze. Kim showed us all around the facility so we’d have no concerns. She explained everything in detail and was able to answer any question we asked!! The grounds and unit are very clean and the security is fantastic. I feel really good about leaving my stuff in there.

My Son passed away in December 2020. I had all the paperwork to put his unit in my name. It never happened. I had nothing but trouble trying to pay it as it was in his name. I also have a unit so I had it paid every month but could not do that with his. I got very ill. I missed the March payment and was late with the April payment. When I went online and by phone I could not find his account. Turns out they sold all of my son's things. He had that unit when Isaiah Trufont owned the building. I believe he had it since 2010. That is 12 years!! They sold it for less than I owed and now want me to pay for it. That is not going to happen. They sold what I had left of my son. Had they let me pay they would have got it all and still had a customer. Don't expect them to care about you or your belongings. They only care about the mighty dollar. My boyfriend has a unit on Mildred. It is infested with mice. As soon as I can our stuff will not be there. Find a storage company that is not a big corporation. They do not care about customers just money.

We bought a storage locker from a auction and we were screwed, the worker said they had been in the locker that we had bought, which is weird cuz I thought that they were only aloud to lift the bay door and look in and take photos. Well the locker was full of empty boxes and a bunch of florescent light bulb tubes. That were written bad on the boxes. Which was funny seemed that it appeared they had just replaced alot of the lights in the hallways there at the facility. So it seems that they disposed of there trash in to the auctioned locker. Box after box of bulbs all bad. That will be the last time I get a locker from them.

I would not rent from PUBLIC STORAGE again… Not that they’re not a secure place… Because I had to go in several doors and put in the code several times just to get to it so I don’t even know why I was told I needed insurance $11 a month for over a year… also they raised my rent for the same space…Almost $40 more even though I was still there and was given a lame excuse of why they did it… I believe they told me they could legally do it… I am on Social Security and went from paying $70 a month to paying 108….. only to discover that if I did not turn in the lock after one month not that they got over $1200 or more off of me… But was told that they do not take the lock back so I cannot get my money back on the lock I can never use again Because I will not ever rent from them again… I do not recommend PUBLIC STORAGE
No stars for initial contact! First, I like to do things in person. So I set up on the phone a reservation and went during hours of operation and no one was there. Phone number on the door is automated central location, you can't talk to on-site manager to find out if the office is closed or how long the wait is going to be. When I came back and was paying and signing the contract I was told there is a mandatory $15.00 insurance that you cannot rent without. Nowhere on the website does it say this that I could find. $1 first month promotion comes with a $25.00 processing fee! Hidden fees... be aware... oh yeah and I didn't need the lock but got charged for it anyway! As soon as another company has a storage available I will be moving.

Clean facility to store the things you have.
what a joke. The staff has no clue about what's going on, when you ask a question the answer is "I have no idea". Charged me $231.00 for a unit that wasn't there's to sell. Still waiting on my refund? The staff is clueless.
Need to pro rate which they do not you have to pay for whole month if you move out on 3rd like I did after getting almost $200 out of me every month for 2 yrs

The staff actually knows what they're doing can answer questions for you and they're just all around way more polite than normal you can tell that they actually enjoyed their work I really enjoy the place and I will continue to use them oh yeah it's all so clean I really enjoy that part :-)

We have used Highland Hill Self Storage for 4 years for our college student. Debra is always accommodating and helps us find the right size unit for each summer. We have and would recommend HHSS to other parents and students. Our second student is starting this fall and we will continue to use HHSS for the next 4 years as well. The facility is always clean. We are always offered their truck for moving in and out. The location is easy to find and get in and out of.
Had an amazing experience with Deborah helping us get the size units when we needed them. She was a life saver, so personable, so customer-service oriented, and quick to respond. We are thrilled with the site, feel confident that our possessions are safe and dry and well protected, and grateful to have found Highland Hills. Will definitely recommmend to friends and family.

I am impressed with the Highland Hill Self Storage company. Debra is very helpful, kind, pleasant, and knowledgeable about their storing service and products. There is a security code to get in (you choose four of your own numbers) and "tailgating" is not allowed (Tailgating is when another vehicle enters the property behind you instead of waiting and putting in their own number.) In case someone does follow you in, when they open their own unit, the alarm system will sound off!! I think that's GREAT! Then, the locks on the doors are WONDERFUL!!! No chance of someone cutting the lock off your unit and there are three keys to each lock. My daughter found this great place and stored her things here, and speak highly of the security of the facility and the friendliness of the staff. That was enough for me to check it out and I like it. Davis is there too and he was great to check out the van's light (they all worked fine). The van? Another PERK! Check it out!
