Beverly is very helpful, friendly and professional. Customer service is second to none. I recommend this place to anyone, plus the price is the cheapest from the competition.

No stars really. Stuggled to originally get in the facility because the "manager" is terrible and doesn't the phone or return messages. No on-site office, no on-site person. Left a cab-over camper there several months and the facility was wide open upon return to pick up the camper. Thieves stole the electric jacks (valued >$1200) off the camper. Not at all a safe place for your belongings.

Kathy showed me Wonderful service, friendly and also very welcoming.

Rented a 5x5 unit. The inside smells of mildew and mold. Black mold stains are present on the underside of the roof in units. Large gaps under the outdated WOODEN doors to units allow for rodents and insects to get into your unit. I observed multiple carpenter ants in the hallway going into another unit. The top of the unit is not secure and theres enough room between the end of the sheetrock and roof for someone to get into your unit from theirs. Was pressured by Kathy upon renting to do a review when I did not want to. I filled out the review just to have her stop pressuring the review. I am now changing the review based on the lack of maintenance on the property and another instance with Kathy. The second instance occurred when my daughter gave me her can of Minute Maid lemonade while I was unloading the car. I accidentally forget I had sat the can down because the weather was bad and I was trying to hurry to load a few items into the unit. By the time we drove out and I realized I didn't have the can, I thought I had sat it ontop of the car and it accidentally fell off somewhere. The next day we came back to the unit to get some tools. As soon as I pulled up to the unit and got out of the car Kathy came up and started yelling saying I threw a can of alcohol on the ground of the facility. I explained I am a cancer survivor and have MCAS and can not even drink alcohol and that it was a lemonade can. She would not stop about how I just threw a can on the ground even after explaining it was accidentally left behind. The other stand in managers are polite, understanding and respectful. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a smaller unit to use any other storage facility in Gig Harbor. The other storage facilities in Gig Harbor are far more updated, cleaner, and more secured. When talking to the other storage facilities in Gig Harbor, the managers where nice, straight forward, and made the transition from Public Storage easy and seamless. Not only did I find a better storage, I was able to rent a updated 5x10 for the same price as the 5x5 at Public Storage. If your storing anything of value that doesn't normally go into a garage I would go somewhere else.

The Public Storage facility on Soundview Dr in Gig Harbor is the best choice in the county of Pierce and city of Gig Harbor for all of your storage needs. Kathy is the Manager, a woman who will warmly greet you, answer all your questions, with a smile that is genuine and far-reaching. Her employee Patty is a person in possession of a great personality. Both their goals are to give any assistance in your packing and storage needs. Great choices, warm personalities are excellent reasons for stopping here.

I stopped by this location in Gig Harbor 08187 with my daughter Nikki to find a large unit as she was moving from Connecticut. I met a woman name Kathy who was outstanding. She explained exactly what I needed and the size that would fit all my belongings but unfortunately she didn’t have that available. She did check to see if there was any other locations that she could find a place for me to store my stuff but with no avail as I need it to be in Gig Harbor. She was friendly and upbeat and normally I don’t write reviews but she really knew everything about her job. This girl deserves a raise. I’m a recruiter and I would’ve loved to have her come work for me but she loves public storage. Kathy is going to let me know if anything comes available. My daughter and I were very impressed by Kathy. She is a dedicated employee. The property look like it was very clean and well-kept. She takes pride in her work. You’re lucky to have her!

During an exhausting move in frigid weather working with Kathy to reserve a storage unit at the last minute was a terrific experience. She was welcoming, knowledgeable, friendly, and expedited the process to meet our needs. Kathy knows how to get the job done and is a customer service pro. She gets a five star PLUS rating from me.
