Beware, this facility closes and locks-down at 6:00 PM every day; at 6:01 you cannot get in to your storage unit! I was not informed of this when I leased the unit and it’s not clear on the website. No leeway, corporate controlled. Ridiculous that I can’t access my storage unit! So do NOT store here if you ever need to access after hours.

Property manager Jamaica was amazing to deal with. My issue was complicated due to last manager. Jamaica would follow up on my issue and made sure it was resolved with corporate office. I still have 1 unit there and would not move to any other location.

Jamaica was awesome! It was quick and easy to rent a unit. She went through the whole process with us and made it understandable and simple. Definitely recommend this location, plus the prices are perfect!

Property Manager, Ms Jamaica, was prompt in her reply, helpful and very friendly. She solved my problem over the phone immediately. All in all she was very professional and attentive to me. It was so pleasant to have such an experience with your company.

After much prodding, I gave Carrie a 5 star review for her promise to resolve my open, inaccurate balance. I spoke with 3 different managers who told me that they would resolve the inaccurate charges. None ever did as they promised. They're closed for, Covid" reasons but are willing to meet and accept funds. However, when closing they are absent. This is a mismanaged scam. Beware! U highly recommend you go elsewhere.

They have insect hives. No one works at this property and customer service is literally non-existent. Phone calls are only answered for sales, not customer service. Avoid at all costs.

Onsite managers have been absent every time Ive tried to find them. Storage should be easy, but somehow this is terribly difficult.

Carrie came and helped me out immensely. She had left for the day, came back from home to help me with my issue. She didn't have to answer her phone let alone come back to the unit and help me with a problem after 6:00 PM. Customer service at it's finest.

The worst. Zero customer service. Nobody answers phones or works in the office. Had an issue with the gate not opening and have been waiting for hours for someone to come and resolve. Look elsewhere.

Don't have too much experience with Public storage but it mostly positive. No issues with the gate and this was before they were officially open which is good but there wqs a broken door to our unit building, no climate control (freezing) and no lights in the unit which I've never experienced before and lastly no access after 6p.m. We were forced to finish the next day which totally sucked.

This location is very clean the guy Ron was very courteous and professional made sure I had the right unit and even gave me pointers on how to store it in unit. I have never been to any storage as clean and organized as this one and once again the welcoming from the agent Ron was awesome great customer service and very polite.

My shop needed a clean and well secured storage unit to store excess product and these two ladies went above and beyond to help me find the right fit for my needs. Roshuna and Cynthia would consistently check in on me when I was at the storage unit and they would often offer me assistance and even let me borrow a pull cart to transfer bigger boxes. I cannot say enough about how amazing these two women are and how clean and safe this particular location is. I want to start this review by saying that Roshuna is amazing! She went above and beyond to assist me with selecting a storage unit that suited my needs. Public Storage truly has a jewel of an employee in Roshuna! As a small business owner in the River Oaks area I know that customer service is a major component to running a successful business. I choose the location due to proximity to my home, but I feel safe knowing that Roshuna is managing this property!

We were helped by Tamika today and we only wish that everyone in the service industry was as helpful. Tamika listened to our needs and gave us excellent options and recommendations. She was patient, friendly, very professional and very knowledgeable. Quick service. Ontracia was polite, knowledge, explained everything clearly. The prices are reasonable. The facilities are older and dated with a bit of a musty smell. Overall not a bad value.

The Assistant Manager, Tracy, was a joy to encounter while we viewed the available storage rooms. She was polite, knowledgeable, very pretty and had a wonderful personality. She found the best storage for my needs and made me feel like a special customer. DO NOT BOOK YOUR STORAGE UNIT HERE!! After noticing that someone came through trying to break into all of the units in our area, we moved out immediately. I have been trying to get our money back for the month that we were completely moved out of the unit, but no answer from management or willingness to help from the customer service team. Save yourself some trouble and just book somewhere else. I wish we had.

Ronesha was the bomb! Was very helpful and attentive. I had not been to my storage unit in a few years and had also lost the key to my lock. She gave me numbers to locksmiths and we had one on site within 15 minutes and I was in my unit shortly after that with Ronesha supervising the whole thing. Thank you!

UPDATE 2017: THIS PROPERTY HAS MOLD IN BUILDING A DUE TO LEAKS IN THE CEILING THAT THEY WILL NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR. 6K (insurance paid) LATER AND A STORAGE FULL OF LOST ITEMS AND A RUDE NEW MANAGER IKEA WHO IS LAZY; SINCE MRS CYNTHIA IS GONE. SHE WOULD RATHER EAT EGGS THAN HELP SHOW CUSTOMERS WHERE THEY CAN DISPOSE OF THEIR BLACK MOLDED ITEMS. But she instead causes confusion has an attitude and wants to be combative etc. Lady I just lost all of my items because y'all didn't properly maintain the property by fixing leaks on the roof. Told me I couldn't use their trash to put my molded items so I left them outside. She charged me a 250$ garbage fee. No ma'am you will NOT! Needless to say I again had to go to Brian the regional manager to rectify the situation. Public storage y'all suck and if you can't hire people like Mrs. Cynthia then just close the doors because y'all are not for the people on the dollar. 2016: Mrs. Cynthia is the best! She is as sweet as pie, respectful and super helpful. The property is very clean. I pretty much gave up on Public Storage due to the last property being the total opposite and a headache. Being that I had to vacate my rat Infested unit at the South Main and 610 location I came here and was provided the best service I've had in a very long time at public Storage being that I am a long time customer. This location gets 4 stars from me because Mrs. Cynthia is the real deal, a woman of integrity and full on excellent customer service! She should be the regional manager over the southwest, not Brian because she gets things done in the best interest of the customer, which is absolutely the correct way to provide services. Thanks Mrs. Cynthia for being who you are! It's greatly appreciated!

The level of service and courtesy provided by Cynthia and Ariel at this location is truly exemplary. They have exceeded my expectations and gone above and beyond the call of duty!

The professionalism at this location was amazing. Ariel & Cynthia we’re very hands on with making sure my items were safe and in great condition.

Except for the young woman, Ariel, who was a delight and very helpful, this was about as bad a storage experience as I could imagine. The storage area was dank, doors did not work properly, door stops were broken, most lights were out in common areas, no light in my unit, overhead obstructions made loading difficult and the place reeked of mold. I had several items made of leather completely ruined due to mold (belts and shoes...also, books), my leather couch and office chair were covered in mold after only several weeks of storage. If I had left the items in longer they would have likely been ruined. Luckily a good scrubbing saved them. The moisture was so bad, cardboard boxes were moist to the touch and mildew could be seen, felt and smelled. Ariel, expressed genuine concern but, rightly so, honored her employer, and stated I should have bought insurance. I can't disagree with that, however, I thought my items should have been safe from the perils of bad upkeep of the facility. I had specifically inquired about moisture issues, prompted in part by Harvey. Insurance was never mentioned before. Yes, it likely should have dawned on me, but it IMAO, does not negate the lacking in the facility. It was not an act of God or some third party act. To add insult to injury, the drive area is so un-kept and uneven, I bottomed out my car, damaging the lower valance. Also, even though there is a clearly marked door with 'Restroom" marked on it, it is locked and clients are not allowed to use the facility. This caused urgency as I had to fight the security gate to get out and to the Whataburger a couple of doors down. Also, the only dumpster on property is locked. Heck, this is a storage facility, seems a dumpster, even for mildew ridden boxes would be part of the fee. Perhaps this is the norm now but was not in my previous facilities. Finally, for now, I was told, politely and professionally by Ariel, I needed to be out by noon on my move out date to avoid additional charge as I had already giving proper notice. I was out by 10:00 am. I checked out at the front desk at that time, however, about an hour later, I received an invoice for another month. This is an issue I directly addressed and was assured no additional charges were or would be due. It's only about $100, but still.... This place sucked and seems to obviously a cash cow but the storage equivalent to a slum with little care by the owners. Location matters, and this place is milking its location. All this being said, Ariel was always helpful, showed concern and tried to mitigate my frustration. She remained loyal to her employer without dismissing my concerns. If I had a position open, I would hope to have an applicant the caliber of this young woman. The facility SUCKED.

Very thankful for the help of this Public Storage location, Ariel was on duty and stayed over a half hour past closing to help us set up my sister's storage unit, after the other Public storage location had decided to close its doors early. Without Ariel the rest of the day would have been a disaster! She was so kind, patient, and helpful, she didn't even rush us. Wow, what an experience to have at a storage facility! I've rented storage units several times over the year and I have never ran in to an employee as vibrant and helpful as Ariel. She was professional, efficient, and extremely thorough. She walked me through the insurance inventory list, helping me recall all the items I had planned on having in the unit in case anything was ever to happen. This was extremely helpful for me to put into prospective how much stuff i actually had to store. I ended up with a 8x10 unit and everything fit perfectly! Because of this experience i was able to easily overlook the fact that I had to use stairs(!), to move my items in the unit. I would like to say i would want them to install an elevator in place of the stair, but i know the difference would show up in the storage rental rate. I got a great deal, so all in all the stair weren't that bad. Thanks again Ariel for one of a kind customer service!!

Ariel was always a great help during my entire time at this facility. Lost my keys the morning of move out and had to have the lock drilled and she saved me a few bucks by locking the unit with a facility lock for the few hours until my movers arrived so I didn’t have to buy another one. She also called whenever there was a hiccup or question on my account. She keeps a close eye on things to keep problems from happening rather than waiting until after things get messed up.

After visiting two other storage locations today, Ariel and the team at this location made this otherwise cumbersome process painless, efficient, and enjoyable!

David was great at Public Storage. Super informative, patient, reassuring, friendly and calm, and I got a GREAT DEAL for space and location! You can usually find the best deals online, reserve it, and then confirm with the office if it's really the cheapest offer. The downside is that your storage isn't insured, you need to insure it. It runs from an ADDITIONAL $11.00 & up per month, but thankfully, it's optional. There are other reviews that reveal some of the buildings (might) have leaks. I definitely had that happen at the PS on S. Gessner, but nothing too important was damaged.

I have been renting a unit from them for over 2 years. A while back I received a phone call from them stating my credit card didn't process. That day I returned a call and updated my credit card number (which had changed). I go back recently to get stuff from my unit and my lock had been cut and they had placed a lean on the unit (after they didn't receive payment which I fixed immediately when they called me to let me know the card did not process). So not only could I not get into my unit but I had to buy one of their new locks for (~$20) in order for them to open it up for me. Then I spoke with the district manager, Brian, to explain my story and express that I was frustrated as I responded to them immediately once I received notification that my credit card was not processing but yet they had already cut my lock at that point and didn't even have the courtesy to tell me that. Brian did not offer anything (all I wanted was my lock paid for), not even an apology, but rather read me Texas law. This is after they have raised my rental fee by over ~$15/month in the past two years and I never made a fuss about it. I will NEVER use Public Storage again and will be moving out my stuff in the next 2 weeks.

I came in yesterday to rent a storage unit. Earlier in the day I went to the other location that is nearby and it was a horrible experience. I chose to see what this location offered. Cynthia was VERY helpful. She walked the property with me, let me see several units and made sure that I was satisfied with the unit I later chose before I signed any paperwork. I came back today to get a larger unit and again, she greeted me with kindness and was helpful. I would recommend this location to others.

Absolutely terrible! Do not go here! The man working the sales office was blatantly rude and tried to scam me quoting me almost double the online price and also told me the promotion advertised on the building and online "had been cancelled." When I proved he was outright lying to me, he was even more rude and condescending. The office was also very dirty and unkept. I have been a loyal customer to Public Storage, but walked out and took my business right down the road to Extra Space Storage where the service and facilities were excellent not to mention, less expensive.

***Please be aware that the units are not properly inspected. The owner of the property is negligent in renting units to people without properly inspecting them. My unit has a ceiling leak in it and all of my personal property was damaged by water and mold. I have not received any assistance from Public Storage after this incident occurred. I do not recommend Public Storage to store your property.

What's the point of paying for insurance if you just can't use it , I was forced to pay for insurance but when the roof leaked on all my expensive furniture the manager told the insurance company there was nothing wrong with the ceiling , are you blind or blind I even posted pictures of the nasty moldy ceiling dripping water , even in the pics you can see the water bubbles forming on the bottom , not to mention how expensive this storage facility is on top of all that . If you are considering to store ur nice items at this facility please look elsewhere " I don't want to say I told you so
