Convenient, friendly and helpful service
Stephen O'Brien really helped me in a jamb this past Friday. I had set up a trip back to Benbrook to clear out our warehouse and had scheduled a U-Haul Truck and someone to help me load our stuff. However, the plane I booked out of Jacksonville, FL, with American Airlines kept getting rescheduled until late in the afternoon, when they cancelled it completely. I was unable to keep the truck or the help I was going to have to load it. However, Stephen made sure to cancel the move-out order and that we kept the warehouse until I could schedule another trip in to DFW. He is a pleasure to work with!!! Thank you Stephen for making sure my day did not turn into a total loss.

Beware, they will quote you a price and then 3 months later they will tell you the price is going up $50. I should have read the reviews before I rented a storage here. I will be moving my stuff out of this place very soon. Also find it funny they only respond to the positive reviews and have nothing to say about the several reviews regarding price raise. Horrible company, I wonder if it's like this at every Public Storage. I'm definitely going to do my research.

Great price has become outrageous (more than tripled over a few years)
Very easy to deal with
Absolutely a horrible company. After only 5 months of renting a unit they raised the rent by almost 30%, from $305 to $388. If I were a new customer I would only pay $239 for the same sized unit. So now they will lose someone who was willing to pay $305 and have to rent it for less money to someone else, bad business model. I used to rent at a Public Storage and after 2 years the rent only rose 8%, even though it is not close to me I will be going back to a Public Storage.
Simply self has been the best! I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a storage unit. Stephen is also been so helpful through the whole way! (:
Stephen and Anna are always courteous and professional, eager to answer any questions. The facility is always clean. We’ve used storage facilities of all kinds, but the Benbrook Simply Self Storage is by far the best.
I can only share after being there to get another storage unit, but I'm already more impressed by this location's really helpful and friendly staff, the organization of the space, the cleanliness, the safety, and the ease of getting to my unit. I believe this is going to be a much more pleasant experience than my time with Public Storage.

Great place. Very clean, very easy to access. Stephen is extremely customer oriented, efficient, knowledgeable and pleasant. All of the facility- access keypad, doors, floors, elevator, carts and stairs are clean and functioning as they should.

From the day I signed up to the day I moved out, every interaction with an employee was extremely pleasant. The price isn't bad either. If you need a storage room, this is the place to go!

This is the place to store your things! Secure, indoor and the manager is the person you would pray for to take care of your things! Steven was courteous, efficient, and super helpful. He runs a tight (and spotless) ship, so we're confident all the rules will be followed and we can sleep easy. This is the place you can trust.

The entry door you enter into (which is an emergency exit) is always locked for exit. This is a fire code violation. I've complained multiple times but it isn't resolved. I took off two stars. One for the inconvenience, and another for the fact when I complained they talked to me like I was crazy and pretended they didn't know anything about it. The lady acted like I had called into some corporate office on the other side of the country when in reality she was in the rental office 20 ft away.

I have been with this storage since it first opened and through the transition to Simply Storage. The site is well built. It has a padded elevator and rolling carts. The bathroom is always very clean. The office staff has been friendly and helpful whenever I have needed it. Renee and now Stephen are great at what they do, and super friendly. Stephen keeps the place clean and the doors locked, all while being friendly. I could not ask for more. I have had 5 units. I am down to one, but all have been clean with no rodent issues.
Concerns provides various risk types...
1st: Reserved my unit and paid in full online, not knowing I would be required to be given access in person. A circular lock approval is required to remove theirs. So, no true access was ever given in my case.
2nd: Email confirmation provided a gate code that doesn't work, per Stephen (Mgr).
3rd: COMPROMISE CONCERNS -- Their online platform required a copy (front & back) of my Driver's License to complete the online reservation. At contact, my Driver's License info was not on file!!! Who has these images?!!!! Scary!
I am so excited to be moving out of this place! I’ve been w them since 2019 and for 2 units I’m paying $600/mo! That has gone up no less than 3 times. The staff is very nice. But the prices are outrageous!! After tmrw my monthly fees will b cut in half. For climate controlled units.

Great, clean place, with wonderful customer service. They have rolling carts which are super helpful !!! I highly recommend this place !! It’s also right by a Goodwill so you can clean out your storage unit and easily donate your stuff !
