Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 290 Rocky Creek Road, Greenville, SC

This property on woodruff road has went through different owners the Late fees are more than the unit I could never pay over the phone when someone decided to answer I get there they already destroyed 3 locks and put there own locks there I couldn't pay online because it gives me a error sign they decided to call me 2 days before auction and say oh yeah I'm doing my job it goes on auction Wed and it's Monday. At this point I feels if I haven't been there in months to get anything out then good luck with the empty boxes and clothes and old stuff that holds no value. They are unreasonable and when I did show up at the property I had to sign another form just to get in my unit. I should have vacate my unit when extra space moved they tried to warn me.

I am very pleased with this public storage. When I came into the office, there was another gentleman getting help. Rachel acknowledged me the minute I walked in. My rental was smooth sailing and Rachel guided me through everything! I would recommend this place to anyone!

THIS PLACE GOES UP IN RENT OF $50- 70 EVERY 6 MONTHS. When I started there $126 an it ended up at $325 in 2 yrs. It wouldve been more but the nice lady at the front desk (Rachel) help me get them to lower it back .I couldnt speak to anyone but she could only email them. My unit never had lights an the walls had holes which allow critters to come in. They upgraded the office but did no work to the units!! NO NEW PAINT OR EASY GLIDE DOORS!! THEY ARE RAISING PRICES FOR NOTHING!! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. I WOULD POST PICTURES IF IT ALLOWED!! Rachel was great!!! Very informative!! I was super confused an she spent 30 minutes with me explaining an I'm very grateful for her!! She is awesome!!!But THIS PLACE IS AWFULLLLL!!!

The manager at this location was extremely friendly and helpful to us! We are now using this Public Storage for item storage as well as vehicles. The location is central to everything in the busy Woodruff Rd area and very easy to get in and out of even with large trucks. At night this location is well lit for visibility and gated for only customer access. I would recommend this location to anyone needing an easily accessible and safe storage option.

Let me start off by stating, I have never written a google review, ever, but this time I had to. You mess with my money and I’m gonna be furious about it. The other negative reviews regarding this particular establishment, are spot on and of course no one responded back to them! Backstory; we had been trying to “move out” of a unit for a month now. However, we were told we could not do so, due to Public Storage putting their own lock on the unit. Okay, great, so how do we get that removed so we can be done with this empty unit? All you have to do is come on in ans we can get that taken care of for you , no mention of needing an appointment, time slot, etc. So, when we show up, no one is there, but of course . We call and no one answers, but of course. We play phone tag for WEEKS trying to get this resolved so that we didn’t have to pay another month for a unit that has not been used in how ever long. We also now live 3 hours away… We FINALLY get someone on the phone today, let them know what the deal is, give them a time that we can be there and they say we are all set. We get there at the time we stated and wouldn’t you know, because it is now February, we have to pay for the WHOLE MONTH. However mentioning to this woman who just “returned to work today” that we have a paper trial of voicemails and phone calls made to this business over the past few weeks, trying to get this taken care of BEFORE the new month rolled around. We even have proof of a voicemail returned to us stating that the women who was to be working the day we wanted to move out (a week ago now which was still January) was not on site when we called, 6 HOURS before. At this point, I’m not even arguing with the woman behind the counter, I’m telling her facts and she would not have it. We have a better paper trial than a huge business keeps? How is that possible? Is it to prove that you are always right just so you can collect your money? Is that how you stay in business? I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND this establishment to even my worst enemy. GREEDY, UNPROFESSIONAL, UNTIMELY, LAZY, “workers.” No one is ever on site, no one ever answers the phone, what exactly do you do all day? Twiddle your thumbs, make TikTok’s? Get REAL! The woman behind the counter actually had the nerve to tell me “she was just doing her job.” Like hell you are. There are actual crackheads working harder than you are just for a fix.

Public Storage makes renting a storage unit easy! Rachel at the front desk was extremely friendly and walked me through every step of the process. When you are going through something as stressful as a move it is great to know you have someone there that cares!

This facility is crooked as hell I spoke with someone on Monday about my bill been trying since to pay it on line how it has went up and they won't take responsibility for their system not working WOULDN'T RECOMMEND ANYONE TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS FACILITY HERE AT

Rachel was simply amazing. She hopped in her golf cart during a torrential downpour to help us find our unit and she stuck with us as it started to hail. She went above and beyond. We couldn’t have asked for better customer service. She’s a rockstar and the storage unit was also nice.

Rachel was absolutely wonderful to work with. She helped me tremendously. We feel very good about this Public Storage location knowing she is part of it. We would highly recommend this location.

Tucked away off Woodruff Road is a well kept older Public Storage Unit. the advantages of the older is there are shade trees and real roofs rather than metal and many of the units have trees around to provide shade. When you walk into the front office it’s like stepping back into time as there has not been any updates for many years, but don’t let that discourage you as the units are great and the service is fantastic. Once you meet Rachel she is in top of it all. Rachael is super helpful, kind and really watches over the entire area like it’s her own. She knows exactly how to help you and walked us through the entire process. She is patient, professional and pays attention to all the details. I often see her patrolling the facility. The facility is quite nice and secure and it’s tucked away right off of Woodruff Road. They usually have good specials too.

This the second day I done came in to access my unit trying to get in I paid my bill and I’m still locked out…Once I paid the bill and it went to a zero balance they put they money back on my card so they say now I have to make a double payment just to access my unit. I will be relocating to another storage that value they customer…

My parents are relocating to Greenville and were in need of large units and parking. Rachel was incredibly helpful through the entire process. She did everything she could to make sure we were getting the best rate and best units for our needs. She communicated with both them and me until everything was finalized. She did not have to go above & beyond in the ways that she did and we are grateful for her excellent and compassionate customer service during a stressful time.

Rachel was excellent to deal with. When we showed up to drop off the camper, a new parking spot had just opened up that better suited our camper size. She was very helpful changing us to that spot to make us happy. Very nice experience.

Moving into this location was a smooth process. The lady at the front desk was super nice and made the move in process a breeze. The units are clean and look well kept. I would recommend this place to anyone.
