I received a call from the local manager trying to help avoid the price increase fully so he was able to support but I still will not go past 3 stars as it’s just an situation you shouldn’t have to do. The issue is with who sent the original increase which seem to see public storage corporate

I was paying $153 for my space and they just took a 43% increase to $219. Quite an unethical increase…I can understand a a 3%-5% increase but not 43%.
be weary if booking with public storage
I have had this storage unit for a little over a year and I have not had a single issue. They have just recently added 24 hour access to units for an additional charge. I do want to give a huge shoutout to the property manager, Andrew. My rate did increase randomly and he did everything in his power to make sure I understood why the rate increased and options moving forward. You can tell he really cares about his job and his customers! I’d recommend anyone to obtain a storage unit from this facility.
I called last week to inquire about pricing and availability, Andrew answered all of my questions!

I've asked no less than 5 times to have my light fixed so I can see well in my storage unit, and am told every time that it will be added to the list. 5 months later, and it's still not fixed!
Last week, I was told by the person I saw, "I'll have my manager reach out to you." I am still waiting.
This is ridiculous, and on top of that, the rent increase is no longer in line with the value I am getting.
It seems like there is a disconnect in service and general care for customers. You can do better, but maybe you don't care. [shrug]
8.9.25 - Got a voicemail to call back - called back - no answer - now getting calls on a Sunday morning for payment on the unit “to avoid late charges”. My response - “fix the light!”. But when asked when it will be fixed and the district manager can help… “sorry I don’t know”.
8.2025 - District Manager finally called - set a meeting to fix the light - unfortunately the entire lighting system short-circuited and I was told I’d get a call back to replace it. That call never happened. Was also told they would reduce my monthly — assumed that meant ongoing - nope… 1 month and then they reverted back to much higher charges with NO notice whatsoever.
11.4, 11.11 and 11.14 left messages to try and resolve this with no responses.
11.15.25 - I called again to leave a message - was told by the front desk person that all messages were sent to district manager.
11.25.25 - Still no response - still no resolution.
So here we are again - a real cluster on so many levels.
Kind of pricy. One broken elevator and no one is ever around if you need anything
I would not do business with this storage facility again in the future. They offer a nice low price to get you to sign up, but then raise the rates quite a bit shortly after you move your stuff in. They jacked my rates by 35% after only three months. I had no recourse unless I wanted to haul all my things to another facility.
I was helping my sister move her furniture and stuff into storage. This was our experience:
Kim, the property manager was very personable! She was also upbeat and very knowledgeable about the property.
Upon entering the office, I was most impressed by the cleanliness and how well the office area was organized. I was even more amazed at how clean the entire building and strange unit was.
Last but not least, I know Kim pays close attention to security details! Prior to meeting Kim, I had gone into the unit to measure and see if my personal lock “shackle” would fit. I clumsily locked the pad lock without sliding the crossbar into the door rail, therefore the door was not locked. I had misplaced the key and returned 2 hours later. As I walked into the office, and introduced myself, Kim said, “I just called your sister to let her know that the unit was not properly locked!” I was very surprised that she knew that!!! Kim then explained that they check the building and locks several times each day.
Nikki was amazing on Sunday when I phoned to rent a unit. Quick and Professional. The unit is clean and the location is very secure.

I’ve always seen when I go to my Storage unit is kims Singleton, she is the only reason I am still with you because y’all seem to up your prices every three months. Kim is always so helpful when I call her or go by there and she goes Beyond the duty of trying to help me out with so many things that doesn’t seem to work such as my email or my password Or my payments I’m usually charged twice in one month so it takes forever to get everything back to the way it’s supposed to be. It’s always screwed up and my units they have two different units that I’m supposedly have I only have one of them, but yet on my end it shows I have another unit very confusing. This whole experience has been Public Storage has been a nightmare. If it wasn’t forKim I wouldn’t be there. Kim is such a sweet caring person. She does. Such a good job. Yell should award her for the way that she goes beyond her duties to help a customer at least that’s the experience I’ve got from her in fact, if someone else answers I’ll wait till Kim comes back to work so that I know I’m gonna get help and she knows me now. Public Storage is very fortunate to have such a employee and again she should be awarded for all that she does for the company.

There's nobody at the front desk there's nobody moving furniture or anything in and out of the storage units I called to get an employee nobody answers the phone like normal you never answer the phone or call back I broke a picture frame and need a dustpan and broom so that I can clean it after myself there's nobody to be found also so I can check out great service!! 👍 I work 12 plus hours I had somebody else call for me this week you didn't know that all the person said was I need some information on a storage unit I had that person call this week for me they called over five times and nobody returned her call either. You do understand that majority of people that use storage unit put their furniture in it they're livelihood, you should have an outstanding customer service satisfaction I get the same run around every time nobody answers the phone nobody ever calls back it's the same thing your customer service is terrible!!

This facility is supposed to be climate controlled. But it’s always on the hotter side and humid. This is a recipe for disaster/mold/big issues. Please fix the temperature. We all pay good money for the facility to be kept cool, clean and efficient.
Perfect atention
Went 7/28/24 to retrieve items; took a load to the truck and came back to a locked unit! No answer in the office and the worst phone system ever! The best bet is to dial 911 because you can not get through and that's if the phone system is working. This facility has 1 restroom with 3 floors and the restroom is ALWAYS locked! BTW my bill is not due until 8/1/24 so no reason to lock it
HUGE shout-out to Susan (500/501) at Public Storage in Five Forks, SC for helping me with a move-in yesterday. Susan was the ultimate professional in assisting me and my movers get settled in our storage unit. Her attention to detail, willingness to answer all my questions and provide an effortless transaction was fabulous. These units are climate controlled and ultra clean with lots of safety measures to assure your items are secure. Definitely worth stopping by and checking them out. Friendly and very helpful staff. It was an easy, pleasant experience renting a U-Haul truck from them. The woman at the counter (might have been “Amanda”?) was professional, kind, helpful, courteous and quick. I was able to get in, check out and get the trailer hooked up and leave in less than 5 minutes. Great job. Highly recommend renting there.

I have never used a storage unit before but needed one to declutter the home. I went there in person and met Lea the manager. Lea was very kind and personable. She showed me around the facility and explained how things worked. The facility is clean and well maintained. I highly recommend Pinnacle!

Helped my future daughter-in-law move items into a storage unit here and was greeted by Antrice. She was extremely helpful and was amazingly kind. She showed us the unit and even helped carry a few items. She talked with us and explained everything. I was so impressed with her professionalism and personality that my husband and I immediately went to our storage unit and moved our items to Extra Space Storage. She and Lisa, another very kind employee there, made getting a storage unit simple and quick. I was done in minutes and was ready to move our items into the unit. I hope Extra Space Storage knows what “gems” they have with these two wonderful people. Kindness goes a long way, and when you have employees that exude qualities they do a company needs to do everything they can to keep them, for they are hard to come by!
Show friendly and kind staff!! Move our sons stuff in and talked to them during the move. Before we had his unit loaded we were convinced to move our stuff. 2 hours later we left a bit to pleasant Prime Storage and straight into our new unit that Ms Antrice setup for us! And better site, safer, clean, more economical and inside!!!
