Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 9 Saluda Dam Road, Greenville, SC

All the employees are extremely helpful, but I mainly have dealt with Amanda, who is super sweet. If you have an issue, I love that they treat you like A PERSON, not as though you’re dealing with a corporation. The location is convenient and safe. Mostly awesome app access, but screenshot your code in case it acts up (:

At the beginning of my lease with Pubic storage, everything was great or seemed to be. The unit was climate controlled, the size I needed, and the price was fairly reasonable. I did notice possible pest/insect issues but didn't think much into it as they provided pest control throughout their facilities. The rent went up every year by at least $20 a month. I went 3 days into the next month and now have an entire month of storage on my credit report. I tried to contact them about an insurance claim and never got an answer and wasn't able to file the claim because the system recognized I was no longer a storage occupant. I had to replace my washing machine due to rust, a mattress which was wrapped in a plastic covering due to something leaking possibly, several of my cooking pots are now warped, and the handles have faded from red to pink as if they'd been exposed to excessive heat. The unit was cleaner than I received it when I left. It could have been rented the same day. I urge anyone to do the research. This place was the closest to where I was living at the time. Looking back, it may have been a better decision to go somewhere that's completely enclosed for the price. I hope yall have a beautiful day! Happy Storage Hunting!

Not real thrilled about three increases in rental rates, considering it seems that the quality of service seems to be falling off.

Amanda was very helpful, and got me exactly what I was looking for! I was happy to speak to her in person after I had a very poor experience with the call center. Hopefully they address this issue, as the person I spoke to at the call center was very rude and actually hung up on me during our call

Called to try to process a payment had to deal with Amy hanging up on me while I was speaking then called back 3 more time for her to say hello and hang up on me. I don't understand how they charge 300 a month for storage unit you don't have 24 access too and have to deal with rude reps that work there someone should look into this company no one should have to be treated so rude and harshly. When technique if there is no customers there is no need for the business which there is no need for employees

Manager is very friendly and does a great job keeping facility nice and neat.

Amanda was extremely helpful! She’s great, however Public Storage I believe should be a large enough organization to be able to supply a maintained golf cart to each facility!! Jeez! Great place other than that.

This place is horrible. The staff is rude, they will lock a unit that has been paid up and then charge outrageous fees. Half the time they don’t answer the phone and aren’t of property.

RV being stored there got broken into, no security cameras, 1 star...

I give this place 0 starts!!!! Customer service is trash I every time I would go to pay they would charge me fees saying my payment didn’t go Through but it did. Ever since I put my stuff in storage I had a some sort of problem out of them they didn’t even try to resolve my problem. SO GET YOUR STUFF OUT QUICK !!!

I thought this was a safe and reliable business to store our first business equipment we were there for a year. Went to our storage on 03/28/2023 only to found out all our equipment was gone .. Honda Lawn mower, weed eater blower locked huge tool box with over a $1000 worth of tools the string for the weedeater, and the also took the new bike left the helmet sport fishing rods the tackle box , but Get this they left the new kitchen equipment we had no insurance but I still think the company should hold some responsibility and Amanda was no help if a lock can be locked and crooks can picked them nothing is safe there I am very disappointed with this company and I was told the camera do not reach where my unit was.

Mrs. Amanda. is, & all ways will b my hero, because she will go far, & beyond 4 her customers 2 make sure, that everything is satisfactory.

I would give a negative 100 stars if I could. You better off selling your stuff. I would never do business with public storage ever again. They over charge, they charged me twice for a lock I already paid for, they go up on the rent it’s ridiculous. I went from $134 a month to $231 a month from November to March. Never again. I’m getting a storage shed.

Amanda was very helpful in explaining the lease agreement and had answers for all my questions. She was also very nice and professional.

I highly recommend this location because of the great Ms. Amanda. There was a tough situation I was going through not only personally but also with the cooperate customer service. Amanda was able to professionally and effectively assist me with all my concerns. She was so awesome! I am so so so thankful for her attitude and willingness to help me. I’m so grateful for her. She just made things so easy. She really cleared up a lot. She needs a raise for sure. My unit was ready and cleaned out. She definitely knows what she is doing and does her job.

We had our property in this storage for 3 years we were a couple payments behind and told as long as you pay something on it you have no worries. Well needless to say they sold everything which were all of the belongings from my mothers home who died unexpectedly. I am in the state of Louisiana and was coming soon to get these belongings, I made sure everyone was aware of my situation there. Now they sold everything and were supposed to send a check of a remaining balance that was 4 months ago. We call they say 4-6 weeks over and over. They refuse to do the right thing. Now we are contacting a attorney as we have been left with no choice. So beware of this company if you have anything of value stored with them because they have no value for anyone or anything. Also they have refused to give us the owners information.

If possible, I would give 0 stars. Overpriced, run down facility with units that need a full make over. They will randomly Jack up your rate with no notice. Their customer service will essentially tell you “tough shit”, even when it’s something they screw up. The staff on site has always been nice and helpful whenever I’ve interacted with them.
