I have a storage space here and it has been okay so far. Usually, they don't have enough hand trucks/dollies to carry items to your storage space. I have to wait a half-hour to an hour, for one. Take your own hand trucks for faster service. This facility is not climate control or 24 hours. The late fee is $35. per month.

If you can get a functioning working elevator to transport you belongings in you are lucky. Once you get in the building and go to any floor except the 1st floor. The smell of the rat infestation will over whelm you! The price go up and the customer service you receive is none exsistant if you find anyone in the office ever.

This kingbridge location in My Vernon, NY is the worst. Don't even try calling the property manager because they will never call back. Their elevator is always breaking down and there is no other way to get to your storage unit if it's on the 4th floor because the planning genius' at this building don't allow movement between floors via the emergency exits. In other words find a storage where they respect your time and money.

I’ve been searching for a storage place for a while now and have been iffy about it all. I decided to try this Public Storage location and it was the best decision. Isaiah helped me out with everything and was so knowledgeable with all the questions i had. He definitely made this decision much easier for me! I highly recommend :)

This was my first time using/needing this service and I’m glad I went to this location. The employee there, I think his name was Isaiah, walked me through the entire process and really made renting space so simple. A far contrast from the other storage company I tried to use. I went here super stressed and frantic because needed a storage unit asap, the worker Isaiah was amazing 1000% He was very patient and descriptive with everything. He was definitely the highlight of my day. I don’t know who the manager is but he needs a raise!

I have been looking for a storage unit to rent out for some time. I decided to give this location a chance because of the reviews and I was not disappointed. I got the pleasure to meet and get informed by Mr. Isaiah. He was very knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service. I was able to rent one out right away because he answered all my questions and accommodated me to the best of his abilities.

I love this Public Storage location, particularly how courteous and professional your employee Paris is...he's always attentive and very helpful. All businesses need employees like him, they'd be gifting themselves and their consumers with excellent service!

Price is ok but you do get what you pay for.. something is always broken. The doors or the lights don't all work. Elevator is sketchy. Invest in your own cart cause you can never find one. The staff is ok. Some of them you can tell that they don't want to be there.

Do not bring your things here they have a very serious mouse infestation that destroyed all my property gross and disgusting my entire unit smells of urine. Can't even catch a good lift up to the next floor.

Dirty and rat infested. We had two units that got a full rat infestation. They threw some poison in the units and simply said rats and mice usually get into storage units. More than half of my clothes, shoes and books were destroyed. The staff and insurance company were not helpful.

Customer service is awesome. Always clean. Gates always work. Had the pleasure of talking to the district manager. Told me my next month would be free for certain reason. And now i have the location calling me telling me I'm late and have a late fee. This is not everybody on the same page. And nothing in my notes. Note sure which manger(district) i spoke too. Needs to be fixed asap...

Came in today to rent a unit, I was assisted by A young lady name Kim she was very friendly great customer service.

Had a better experience than i expected. I rent storage space to store for my business. Obviously the best part is the fact that i got the best deal price wise. Even if I’m only saving a few dollars, I love ensuring that I get the best deal. I’ve been with ps for a while & came in to pay a bill even though i don’t store at this location it was really pleasurable meeting both Nay and Kim. They were really nice and just kind of brightened up my day. I feel like they’re employees are chik-fil-a nice.

Nay was exceptional in her customer service and was genuinely interested in making sure we understood how everything worked with our rental of the space. I’m really glad we picked the Mt Vernon location.

I have been compelled to write a review about Nay. She was exceptional in handling a billing issue in regards to moving out. I was late in setting my move out date which triggered being charged for an additional month. Nay was able to dispute and cancel the additional monthly fee. The way Nay handled the situation is a prime example of stellar customer service!

I was having a really difficult time with my movers and landlord and the last thing I needed was a hard time with storage but I got the complete opposite at Public Storage. The location wasn’t the best but I was grateful they were still operating during COVID. My family's experience with this location was dreadful. You put your belongings and valuable possesions into a company's hand just to have it destroyed and them not wanting to pay for the damages. My husband and I had wedding decor, a new mattress and new tufted headboard, shoes, clothes, electronics, tools, my wedding dress, baby things and more in a storage unit. Mold was on everything!!!!! They asked for pictures and proof that the mold came from the facility, which exposed us to the mold due to the enormous amount of it. We complied and this was months ago. You would think they would give us money at least for the insurance we paid for to cover it, but it seams they are putting us through the ringer although we deserve it. This location is not weather nor temperature controlled. It is dangerously hot in the summer time and hard to breath. It is dangerously cold during the winter time and hard to stay for long periods of time especially if you are trying to organize. The staff is rude although they don't do much to help anyone, but they are surely nice when you are looking for a new unit and you are a new customer. You barely see them. The carts at one point was chained up and they made you exchange your I.D. to get one. The reason was because customers were leaving them on different floors---- not stealing them, but leaving them on the premises. You are also not allowed to throw anything in the garbage. The keypads also tend to malfunction and you cannot get access. I can seriously go on about their indiscretions. I will get a lawyer involved! This is ridiculous especially during these trying times with the COVID-19 pandemic. The amount they owe us will not take away our inconveniences and distrust, but it can help with us re-buying most of it especially our baby's belongings.

Company is greedy and doesn’t care about the current crisis going on, they’re charging late fee during COVID_19 crisis, unlike many other companies that recognize the crisis and waived late fees, this company hasn’t. They actually called and texted me demanding monies, this is the first this company ever text or called me about billing since I been with them.... even though I already paid my last bill (March 2020) in FULL and even some extra for the current bill (April2020) since last month. They still have the audacity to call me April 10 2020. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!

I thought this was going to be such a stressful experience since I needed my things to be put in storage ASAP, but she assured me that I could get my things stored away in no time. Bianka assisted me throughout the whole transaction and I was able to get everything done right away. She was so knowledgeable and I really appreciate all her help. She was well mannered and made sure I was informed about the fees and times I was able to access my storage unit. There needs to be more associates like Bianka. Excellent customer service, I will definitely be coming back to this location because of this associate.

The public storage on 60 east kings bridge is the worst, the workers are very disrespectful and rude , I started off paying 160 and my payment went up to 254 and if u pass the 5th of the month u will be charge a 40 bucks late fee. Out of all the years going here today was the best customer service I have gotten. Julissa is one extra ordinary worker she loves her job and she made me feel welcome and satisfied. I admire her ability to do so in such professional way.

Even though I go to auction today because state lien rules say Public Storage cannot extend ONE day to my bi-weekly pay day on Aug 29th, I officially today Aug 28 2018 loose my entire apartment because I can't get an extension of ONE day. I got evicted last year July and I don't have enough to STOP auction ... a sad day, but the 400 Nepprehan location was the first experience with Public Storage, but the Mount Vernon location my son's father, Larry Johnson Sr had a storage unit before His untimely death June 14 2016. I use to always help Him organize His unit and said I like this place. Easy access. I'm just sorry I can't get extension to my pay day ....

My husband and I used this Public Storage location from December of 2017 to January of 2018. We had the awesome experience of conducting business with Ms. Shay. Ms. Shay's excellent interpersonal and customer relational skills exceeded our expectations! Ms. Shay went over the policies and procedures of the storage facility,to ensure that we were fully informed and knowledgeable regarding the entire process. It is during this time that we recognized that Ms. Shay is the "Epitome" of Professionalism. She fully understood the laws of opportunities for the business, and the crucial importance effective communication played in assisting us! The end result was amazing satisfaction on our behalf! We would definitely recommend this location and facility! God bless!!!

The prices keep increasing for NO reason. It's NOT like their employees are walking around to assist u, it's not like the space gets bigger over the years, it's not like they're open 24 hours, it's not like they have garbage cans (u must take ALL trash with u) so WHY does my fee increase so much? Looking for a new spot. Plus I started noticing mice droppings in and around. The person next to my unit stores recyclable bottles. Like COME on. Collect, cash in and keep it moving. Why r u STORING it?

I have a great experience with Shay the manager at this location. I came in not clear if I wanted to use the storage because I have other option but after dealing with Shay my option was very clear. She told me some items that I didn't think I need it but again with the rap Shay I decided to purchase several items to help accommodate my moving. I just opened my space with Public Storage and had a great experience. I had initially purchased a room much too big for the amount of things I had and also needed help finding some supplies and I had really great service. Julissa helped me find the right space for me, find some great supplies that helped make moving in easy, and answered all the questions I had. I wish there were more employees like her everywhere I went. Shes very knowledge, friendly, and more. Overall great experience both prices and staff.

I think the persons are nice, and you can go early, and the gate closes at 9pm but its a Big time ripoff! The unit we have which is very small, went from $169 dollars to over $200 dollars for what!? Small space, dust, smell, and big cockroaches! Yuck! C'mon with all those units do you really need to jack up the price!? Shame on you, it should be bigger and better. But like everything in New York smaller but more money!!! Greedy, Greedy, Greedy.

Have had a unit there for just over 2 years and ran into some financial issues . Tried to call someone to see about getting a break because I fell a month behind. They put a lean on my unit $50 a month extra on top of my normal bill. When I called the corporate office and the office at the location no one could help me was pretty much told oh well suck it up and just pay you bill. Thanks for helping out loyal customers in time of need . So now I need to come up with the money or they are selling my stuff .

I find the staffer at hand was very patient and caring, not just pay and go, but more of a subtle approach. Tashana wanted to make sure I was well, and all my questions answered before I left.

Please be advised that I'm stating recommend ms margaux for employee of the month.Ms Margaux has exceeded my expectations,she's customer frindly,plus warm and gives values to customers for each time I'm at storage paying my bill.Please keep her she's good for buinness.

All i can say is Why? Why do you only have one person working at this location. All day one employee and no bathroom for her to use. On Sunday I went to conduct a storage transaction and the enployee Margaux who by the was so pleasant. This actually was my second time coming there to do the same thing and she also was alone. Arrived at 2pm and because she had so many people ahead of me I suggested that I would come back within hour. But before i suggested it she had to use the restroom and had to tell the already angry customers that she needed to use the restroom and had to get in her car and drive to another establishment, smh🖓, when I got back by 3pm there was still about five very angry people ahead of me. Long story short we finished the transaction by 5:30 pm. You have such a great employee, and it is a shame that she indured so much verbal abuse because she was alone. U need to get more help.

From the moment I entered the Public Storage Facility, I was immediately impressed by the warm , friendly reception extended to me by the Customer Service Representative, MARGAUX. As I was being given a tour of the units, the young lady was honest, patient and VERY PROFESSIONAL!!!! I reserved a unit and look forward to moving in later today.

I had the opportunity to meet the gentleman by the name of Chris at the public storage in Mount vernon. His customer service was an A+. I hope they hire more people like him.

I do not have anything in Storage, however I stop by there to get a box and some items to mail something out through FedEx. Though I have passed by this storage several times over the years, this was my first time stepping inside. I have to tell you that I was so impress with their customer service and their pleasant attitudes. The young lady that helped me (Margaux) was so wonderful. From the tiime she came over to assist me, to the time I left, she was able to work with me and get me everything that I needed, and even helped me carry some of my things out to my car. She was a pleasure, and if I needed to put something in storage, her pleasant attitude would convince me to do it there. Good Job :)

I went to this facility because the furniture company wanted to charge me $25/day to hold my furniture because the apartment wasn't ready as yet. Crystal was pleasant, well mannered and very friendly. She had a smile the entire time. The pricing was way better than what the furniture store was charging, and they had everything from lock to insurance ready for me. Thanks again Crystal, we need more people like you.
