Clean, well lit, controlled climate. Best was the exceptional service and sweet disposition of the woman that registered us and showed us the room. Nay was super nice and professional. ***** 😊

Communication is Key. Now I was told that my unit was suppose to be actioned off on June 26,2024 right I understood that. So I get a call on June 27th 2024 at 10:16am stating that my unit was not action off and I have time to make my payment. I expressed to the gentleman that I will pay everything on the 3 of July, he said ok he will make a note of it. So on July 3 2024 I payed everything in full I spoke to a gentleman that has an African accent he stated that I was in the clear and even gave me a $20 waiver on my account. So I get a call on today July 9th 2024 at a quarter to 10:00am stating that my stuff was auctioned on June 28th 2024 go zero balance with no call that it happen. No one told me on July 3rd when I paid my money that it was as actioned on the 28th of June and they took my payment. I called the General Manager and none has reached out to me at all. Nobody is speaking to the co-workers on the accounts.

My husband and I were seeking information to store our valuables at Public Storage. Young man named Nick was so helpful and kind. He clearly explained the sizes and which would be the best size for us. Hope Nick gets acknowledged for being great at his job. I know my belongings will be safe there. I thank management for having him on their staff.

I want to thank property manager Nay!!!! For all of her help and accommodations with my storage unit that was a huge matter. Nay was professional and extremely helpful with me being away and no one to assist. I can’t thank her enough for the peace of mind she gave me as well as support. Definitely recommend this location to those that need the security with a peace of mind!

These guys are master manipulators and scammers. They routinely make offers and agreements and then renege. Don't make the mistake of even talking to them. Whatever they say, it's not real or true. I am specifically talking about the location on saw mill River road in yonkers.

May, a customer assistant, helped me out after a rent increase that I didn’t receive notification for. She was very knowledgeable and helpful.

I have been customer at Public Storage for a long time. I have met and been assisted by the staff there who have always been courteous and helpful. In particular, I have had the good fortune to regularly be assisted by NAY, who always greets with a smile and a willingness to help!! You are fortunate to have her as your employee. She always provides good information when I have a question, processes my payments promptly and just recently assisted me with a charge that she was able request a reduction for me. I give this review 5 stars!!

Nay told me to use my access code to enter the facility to “verify” my stuff wasn’t there, which prompt corporate to believe i was still there while they charged me another month. Nay gives extreme amount of attitude and lacks any communication skills. I had previously removed everything but was told by Nay to use my access code. Shady and disgusting attitude doesn’t yet describe Nay. AVOID AT ALL COST.

If you would like to be scammed by management, this is the place to come.

Purchased a Storage today around Noon, Nick was amazing and has great costumer service, helped us with everything needed, and explained everything to us clearly to our understanding, thank you for everything along with your colleagues who also helped make this experience much more easier.

Nice facility and unit - we've been there less than a year and have already experienced two rent raises of about $30 every 4 months. This is the business model.

Re: 137 Sawmill River Rd, Yonkers, NY The 2 gentlemen on duty yesterday Sunday were helpful in trying to resolve the problem of the access code not working. Unfortunately the code is still not working today Monday. Apparently a software issue. Hopefully one day this week.

I would suggest to anyone, do yourself a favor and AVOID this place - 400 Nepperhan Ave, Yonkers, NY 10701. Do business anywhere else but here - as I will soon be doing. The manager, Nay, is obnoxious, demeaning and lacks candor. I’ve been a customer for many years at multiple locations in multiple States, and I have never met anyone with such bad manners. At first we thought she was having a bad day, but every time we visit the office she has been a challenge to deal with. I can summarize every interaction we’ve had with her with one word - DISRESPECTFUL. Public Storage should heed to my experiences and pay more attention to this staff member…

After keeping things here successfully for years, I've unfortunately had a VERY bad (and VERY costly) customer experience. Here is the story: My Mother had a unit here for over five years. She paid for it in full on December 1st, the day it renews. On December 2nd, we asked the Public Storage employee "Marck" if we could change the lease it to my name instead of my Mother's. Marck said no, but we could vacate the unit and then it could be opened in my name... he began the process, and I was concerned because though I had my own second unit (Unit #2) there at the time, I didn't want my Mother's unit to be charged for nearly a full month twice (once for my Mother on December 1st, and then again by me on December 2nd). Marck said not to worry, as my second month would be free, which would even things out - that was fine with me. A few days later, I stopped by again (to vacate my other unit) and asked Marck to please confirm that the unit would be free for the second month -- and he did. Well, you can imagine my dismay this week when I received an email from Public Storage, detailing my bill for the next month at full cost. I went to the facility, and while Marck was not there I spoke to "Nay" (the manager -- she has a beautiful smile) who explained that Marck was new and had been wrong in what he told me. This is despicable. Marck's mistake cost me hundreds of dollars. Marck is a very nice person, but he really steered me wrong. Nay explained that there is nothing that can be done, and reiterated that Marck was "new" and that he simply didn't know..... but I'm still out the money. I've been "new" at plenty of jobs in my life, and I know that there is a learning curve, but Marck gave me, a paying customer, some very wrong and very inaccurate information that cost me hundreds of dollars. Beyond just being extremely unprofessional in customer service, my experience speaks very poorly of the training of new employees at Public Storage. Marck should not working alone there when he was so new and should have been more informed before giving me information that turned out to be so inaccurate and so incorrect. This Public Storage facility needs to train their new employees better, and take ownership of the incorrect information disseminated by their employees. Marck told me wrong, and I'm stuck paying the price. Shameful.

The best experience/help I’ve ever had being here for 7 years. I wanted to transfer units to get more space and the employee named Malone helped me with all the information I needed. He was very nice and super helpful, showed me different sizes of units, explained the price difference and insurance, as well told me about the public storage app and being able to open doors through the app which I never knew about being here for 7 years!! Thank you Malone!
