I had an issue (with my bank, not Public Storage)… Went in person to sort everything out. Debbie was a BLESSING!!! She was so friendly, answered all of my questions, helped me sort through my issue, lol… And just simply went above and beyond!!! Thank you so much :)

As other customer, I have been in this facility few years... they tend to keep increasing rent very unreasonably. It is a very stupid business model, as they give cheap rates looking for new customers (without knowing if these new customers are reliable or not) and totally infuriate existing ones with those increases. Customer service/management also not very "bright"... and source of frustration probably. Update... I wanted to move out of here and I have not been able to access my unit for 3 weeks when I had the possibility as I travel. I guess Deb... the manager was not happy with my "not very bright" remark... and I have to add "not very professional either" because after being alerted for 3 weeks that the door is not working... she did not have it fixed yet... Of course they are charging me full price... for a service they are not rendering at the moment... very very unprofessional... I cannot see how they can have good remarks...

I just moved out of my space and went to notify the office and spoke with Bork-What a pleasant and professional employee he is. He made the process smooth and easy. I rent a few times a year and will definitely be returning.

We just rented a unit and Deb the sales agent, was great helping with sorting the best size for our items and pricing. I recently rented a unit for a few weeks at this location and the property manager, Debbie, was fantastic. She told me about e-renting and was able to answer all of my questions. My family and I have used public storage before and certainly would again. The only place I’d recommend to family and friends looking for a storage option locally.

I sold my home and I was looking for a storage place I needed one bad, when I went to this place in 50 Milltown road, I was greeted by this lady named Deborah, very professional lady, answer all my question and show me around, I rented the place immediately. Thank you Deborah you are amazing keep up the good work. I'm going to highly Recommend This place. Enrique!!!! Renting at this facility has been a good experience. The property Manager (Debbie) answers all questions and resolves any problems in a timely manner. Stopped to ask about an additional storage unit and had many questions. All were answered in an easily understood manner. Now I can decide with good information on hand. The property is well illuminated, and always clean.

THEY HAVE THE ABILITY TO CHANGE YOUR LOCKS, AND ENTER INTO YOUR LOCKER WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT, DESPITE PROMISES THAT THE LOCK IS YOURS AND THEY DON’T KEEP SPARES, AND DESPITE PROMISES THAT IT WILL NEVER BE TAMPERED WITH. Updated review. Please book with literally any other company. First of all, all these positive reviews aren’t real; they literally stand next to you and back you into a corner to write one during the sign up process, so it’s extremely uncomfortable and awkward to say no. I live 13 hours out-of-state. My dad lives 3 hours out-of-state, but I went to college near this facility. When the pandemic hit and we learned I wouldn’t be going back to school, my dad drove to my school and put my stuff in this public storage facility. They changed the locks WITHOUT OUR CONSENT, and claimed to have notified us in a letter we never got. I came here with the keys my father had mailed me, and they refused to give me the new keys, even though my phone number and my email were the ones on the account, and even with many ways they could have verified with my father (video chat, a picture of his ID, calling him from his company directory, etc.). I spent 1000 dollars on a trip to get my stuff (plane, hotels, car rental all scheduled in advance) and they refused to have an ounce of compassion or provide reimbursement. The staff was extremely rude and lacked empathy, as was their corporate “support”. I will never use one of their facilities ever again. TLDR: they only care about money, and if any unforeseen circumstances occur, they have no issue screwing you over.

Positives were maintaining a dry environment to put my stuff in New Jersey when I was in a bind due to the mortgage debt-inflation of rents and I had to find a spot to which my ex-wife would accede, and refunding my last rent payment when I moved out. Negatives were the massive (60%) mortgage debt-inflation of storage rent over the course of a couple of years, and being so remote for me as a NYC-based pedestrian before my exile to NJ due to the mortgage evil. None of this will be resolved until this country chooses to #AbolishTheMortgage with a permanent moratorium on new mortgages, so people can stay put in their family households, reusing, repairing, and, occasionally, replacing their household goods for succeeding generations of those households.

Easy to go in out

I have been a loyal renter at the East Brunswick Public Storage facility since October 2018. When I rented my unit the monthly rental fee was $147.96 My rent as of 9/1 will be $426.50 per month. A new renter would rent my unit for $225.00 per month I appealed to Public Storage to consider my loyalty as a renter and how unfair it was to "reward" me with such an increase. I received a curt email denying my request. I will have no alternative but to take my business elsewhere. Congratulations Public Storage you are loosing a loyal tenant.

Rented for 3 years. #20212 Started in pandemic 2020 with special then increased rent 4 months later & continued. There are no lights in the unit or ceiling, so if someone had an infestation it could come to your unit. I am writing this review simply because I exited my unit 6/4/23, they refuse to prorate the unit for those days & want me to pay for a full month. As I mentioned I'm sure there are exceptions but called escalations & they refused as well. Place is simply greed.

No one ever answers the phone or is in the office. Gave my keys 2 weeks ago for a repair, no repair done, no call, no keys, and no one in the office or will pick up the phone. They also double charged my card for a month. Worst storage ever!

This place is the worst they over charge. They are all about money they go up in rental cost every year over $30 and the most disgusting thing they did was go up in rent during the Pandemic when people were out of work and they continue to do the same. They go up in price but for what they have nothing up to date to show why they are increasing their price. No ventilation in the units no lighting in the units No elevator No 24 hour access...You spend all this money for a sweat box in the summer and a freezer in the winter Old and outdated DO NOT RENT FROM HERE RUN...

I had my storage unit for a couple of years. Debbie was wonderful to deal with and always helpful with any questions or concerns. I had a problem with the door and she had it fixed immediately! If I'm ever in need again for storage I would use them for sure!
