We have been calling for months now. No answer I no longer live in kc but my things are in storage you would think you could get Al hold of someone so we can discuss the matters of my storage unit. But no response. I’m 12 hours away I can’t just pull up. I wish they answered the phone. I don’t wanna lose my things over a phone call.
I do not suggest anyone in Kansas City Missouri Kansas City Kansas anyone on this entire planet to ever do business with public storage in raytown Missouri by the graveyard we lost all of our belongings my family and I are heading to rebuy everything and I mean everything this is not a controlled temperature like they say water leaked in mice got everywhere we've lost everything children's beds our bed living room couch all furniture clothing everything for your sake in the sake of your family's belongings do not come to the public storage on 67th Street here in raytown Missouri you will lose all your stuff and the man behind the counter acts like if it was your fault I'm going to do everything in my power to sue the hell out of them
My wife is very picky and has complaints about every storage place we've tried! She loves it here. She loves the little lady cheri, she's always helpful and my wife can talk ti her all day. That's a huge compliment

As long as you get your reservation online, you get a better price as far as management and everything. I had no problems with management there everything is clean and and a manager when you call and leave a message they get back with you my experience so far has been very good.

Customer service is everything this location lacks. Their policy stands no matter what. Customer Service Manager, Myrna stated the policy will not change no matter if you’re in the hospital lost your job, or something unexpected happens. First time missing a payment. We were one month late, informed Sherry (property manager) on Aug 15 when we were able to make the past due payment $140 & current payment $140, to include a late fee $25. Sherry stated she was fine with it and everything was ok. On Sept 2nd, showed up settle payment. Was completely blind sided by what came next. I was told the lock was cut & the unit was sealed, being prepared for auction, & advised to speak customer service to waive any fees. Sherry failed to mention that on or after a certain date, a $79.00 lien would then be charged. Now a total of $384. While speaking to Myrna I was informed that after 2 months of missed payments, 2 late fees & and lien…your belongings, sentimental or not, are gone…auctioned off to 3rd party company. You can’t make an payment arrangement like an utility company. You’re just SOL. First & last storage unit.
Storage space was very clean and customer service was speedy
Workers they hired to paint their building broke in my unit. No one from public storage ever notified me, yet they replaced lock and did not return un used rent.
Had a unit for 3 years. Never late once. Gate is not secured. Cannot access units with larger box truck. Price increases 2x per year even though new customers get cheaper rate. Mice and water in units. Go anywhere else.
Depending on what location you are at , you may have to load and unload in a sally port
Omg, I don't even know where to begin with how highly disappointed and disgusted I am with this entire company. I'd give zero stars if I could. First of all, the staff harasses you so freaking much. Even on weekends and holidays. They don't care. Secondly, the company increases the payments, yet you have to deal with mice in your boxes and things. Thirdly, if you try to leave and they auction off your unit, you'll get little to nothing for the unit and they still expect for you to pay off the remaining balance after they sell the unit. This company is for the birds. Do not come here. Especially to this location!!!! There are plenty of other companies that treat you better and don't harass you. Trust me.
We have rented our 10 x 25 storage unit for 4 years now and the rent is going up to $353.00 a month on September 1st. There are large potholes making it difficult to navigate to the units and the units are subjected to moisture and rodents. The bottom of several of our boxes have been breached by the rodents and there are gnawing marks on a piece of furniture. Some of our belongings smell like mold/mildew from moisture. We don't have any advice on how to protect furniture being stored, but moisture and rodent-resistant plastic storage containers work better than cardboard boxes.
Had great service from Joe keep up the great work and good customer service. To be honest, I went to 2 before I even got to Joe and they were awesome as well shoutout to KG from your James A Reed location helping out on Woodson. As well as Amanda from your 47th St location for helping us out and getting us to Joe great job keep up the great customer service. Was going try life storage on Bannister just opened and they have the worst customer service ever....will recommend public storage for sure!
Convenient to our location, very helpful and friendly staff, navigating the units in a 26' u-haul was fun but doable.
For some reason the monthly rent for a 10 x10 when from $115 to $125 "because property values have increased" welcome to 2022

A lot of pot holes, you can't set your own pin so you have to look it up everytime and I've been here 3 months and they have already increased my rent by $11. The space stayed the same though. Not happy.
