CONSUMERS BEWARE!!! Public Storage gave away my personal belongings for free on Craigslist and then sent me a final invoice claiming my storage unit was “sold” at auction for $0. Absolutely illegal and deceptive business practices!!

I have had storage units before at different locations. I had the best experience ever here . I have never had a level of customer service like this before from Corleen the manager at this location. Public storage does raise the rent of your unit every couple of months which is the only downfall. I would suggest temporary storage here not long term.

This place lies about the rate of their facility and hides it under the wording of online rates that's not true at all it's actually supposed to be the promotional rate because it's not an online rate that is continued until there is a need for a raise in rent due to property repairs or the ongoing rate for public storage it should say that it's a promotional rate and that that rate will change in a set amount of months however that information is not shared with the renter also that you should know this facility will charge you two and a half times what you thought your online rate is going to be at the end of whatever promotional rate the you agreed to once your things are on their property they feel that their right to raise rent to astronomical amounts is okay there is nobody in the company that is able to tell you the cap as to how much they can raise the rent so I'm assuming no Cap exists you'll just keep going up and up they also can't tell you why. But we do know that they do know upgrades to the property and that when it rains your storage facility is unavailablemost other states have a cap on how much the rent can go up and that cap is 11% in a year period of time however with public storage my rent went up 200% in less than a year. That's huge as somebody who rented without having any income verifications or anything and having no idea if I would be able to afford that even though it didn't matter to them now because they have my property already so I'm the one in the situation anyways I won't go on and on the take away from this is if you're looking for long-term storage and you're looking for somebody to be honest with you and upfront about what the pricing will be before you sign up this is definitely not the storage for you these people are rude unhelpful and frankly overpaid obviously. Do yourself a favor and pick any other facility I say this because I wish that somebody would have told me to save myself the headache the time and the hassle of dealing with public storage
I'm finally out of this horrible situation, and think I see the light on the other side.
But wait
Now I'm getting harassing phone calls, saying I owe $106 and I'm not even using their storage anymore. Not to mention my rent started out at $46 bucks a month and ended at $89. Where the he** did they come up with $106 for an empty storage locker? Who's doing the math here? I wish these horrible people would just leave me alone. They have gotten every last penny and moment of patience that I'm ever going to give them, at this point.
Like I said, run run run far away from any public storage facility.
I will keep you updated with whatever comes next from this company.

Coraleen and Dylan actually care about their customers. This doesn’t exist in the “Dog eat world”storage rental business these days… I will keep coming back! This is a very nice storage location. The units are newer and the building is really clean. They even provide dollies to help bring your items in and out. Easy to access and the staff is very kind and helpful, especially Coraleen! She was very knowledge and courteous and helpful!
Horrible location staff never available I was just stopping bye to pay my fees in cash and was told I can't do that due to the woman wanted to not deal with it today she is going to lunch asked when she will be done she stated when she feels like it she will be so rude and disrespectful disgusting the customer service issues is ridiculous people should be able to find. Staff during listed hrs and not have someone on the property ever is not ok.

I have been in a bad situation a couple of times and the management and employees were so helpful and sympathetic to my problems...and got everything taken care of for me without fail . They acted like it was no big deal but to me it sure was... In fact when I came back after a year of being gone Colleen even remembered me by name... Pretty impressive . Thank you again New Brighton public storage until we meet again!!

I have been renting from this location for several years now. Corleen is the best manager by far! She always accommodates my ever changing storage needs with the utmost professionalism. Whether you're are interested in renting a small, medium, or large climate controlled or drive-up unit this is the place to be hands down. The facility is clean, well-lit, safe, and units are priced fairly.

The staff at Simply Self Storage was the most pleasant and helpful people that I have ever dealt with. Corleen was an amazing manager and very thorough. The storage units were safe and in a neighborhood that you felt good about. We never went there without seeing someone cleaning or working in some way to keep the place safe and clean. We appreciate everyone that worked there and have told our friends where to go if they ever need a place to store anything. Best wishes to all these good people. Safe and clean storage facility. Some places feel sketchy going in after dark but not here! Well lit and multiple entrances.

Wife rented a unit, received gate code that is unusable (Denied - unknown code). Tried calling office and toll-free numbers - was told would contact supervisor, nothing. Paying for unit, we can't even access.
Since posting this initial review, finally got called back and got working access code.
Good place
Just rented a unit from them and I had an issue with moving day but they were more than helpful to accommodate me. FAST reply with issues that occur so far and that's what will make me stay.

The lady running the show there (probably not going to spell her name correctly here but Corleen) was just a pleasure to have handle my situation as I wasn't sure what size I should get OR anything.... she definitely made sure I understood all the bells & whistles to getting my storage unit that actually met my needs!!

Sean was great. Will update if anything goes wrong with my unit, but so far would recommend this location to a friend.
EDIT:
Unit was robbed while I was out of the country, and people here didn't seem to really care. Actively discouraged me from calling the cops or trying to catch the people who stole all my valuables.
