The property manager lives on-site, yet no matter the time of day, the office is always locked and somehow never staffed. I’ve never met, or seen, a single employee. Whether it is morning, afternoon, night time, weekdays, or weekends - during the office hours listed - there is never a single staff member there to help when we need them. How does this location have so many outstanding reviews about the manager and the service they experience from the other employees? Are we somehow the only customers experiencing this?
Additionally, the bathroom is locked every single time, the entire time we’re there…
This is the worst experience I have ever had with a storage company.
I’ve been a customer here for a couple of years now, and I like the location. However, the prices have been increasing steadily. I used to pay $95 for a 5x10 space, but now I was charged $242 for the same size!

I called burnsville storage and left a message for another unit. Lucy called me back within 20 mins and we set up an appointment to look at one. I went there and Lucy was and was super nice, I told what I wanted she look at the compter the unit was availble (only 1 left). We went and looked at and Lucy exsplanied everything I needed to know. I took the unit and paid for everything, and Lucy was excellent thanks Lucy for your help.

My experience at Public Storage Burnsville has been great!! 4 great years! The storage was large enough for all of my junk and yard gear projects. I even stored 2 huge asparagus planters in my slot for 3 winters. But, the greatest part of the experience was the site manager. Lacy! Sweet, pleasant and kind; I also found that she was patient, friendly, and professional when I fell on hard times for 4 months. She listened, went to bat, and shared options for payment with me. Horrid experience. There's no way to know office hours since they only post gate hours online for some reason. So we booked a reservation for Sunday as that was the only day we do do it. Showed up and it was closed. Called customer service who said they open at the very odd time of 1:15 which was conveniently in 4 minutes. We waited 10 minutes and no one showed up so we left and came back an hour later. Still closed. This time customer service said we can book it online and it's all self booked and then transfered my call randomly as I was trying to speak. The next person didn't get 2 words in before they dropped the call. Absolute chaos and terrible customer service. I've used this company before with no issue so this was a surprise. I took my business elsewhere this time.

Went to finish filling out my paperwork on site at the 14250 Burnsville Parkway location, and I’ve already made the reservation online through the phone call system. The lady at the desk then told me they were by appointment. Only, I needed to rent a facility today. And was turned away so I am going to find a different facility to assist me with my rental needs.
Lacey, the property manager, was INCREDIBLY knowledgeable and helpful with transferring unit spaces. We needed a larger unit than we rented and, after several phones calls to customer service (who told they were unable to see what units were available,) Lacey was able to swiftly and efficiently make the change. I am very impressed with her customer service skills, knowledge base, and friendly demeanor. Thank you for having such a fantastic employee who goes the extra mile for her customers.

Very clean units. The rental process is very easy and our unit was ready to go for us within 24 hours. Gaining access to the building is easy using the app, though sometimes the remote access chooses not to work. Not a big deal - you can always enter using your access code. I wish I could give 5 stars, but they only have two carts for people to use. If one (or both) goes missing you are in big trouble if you need to move things up to the second floor. This has happened on multiple occasions which has been frustrating. Seems like there should be more than just two.
Managed decently, but prices are constantly going up, once you have a unit. They end up higher than other places, or what you'd pay getting a new unit.
[Edit] Manager of one of my units called today and canceled my rate increase for 6 mos, for my two units. This was a considerate thing to do and likely brings the rent closer to market rates for an equivalent size unit.

We've been utilizing the parking storage at this location for over 20 years. We've had excellent managers (since then), and our current manager Lacey hands down has been the best.
She's customer service oriented, thoughtful and professional.There's no need to shop around when you're in need of a storage space if a respectful relationship and professionalism is your premier reason for renting a unit at this location.

After unexpectedly losing my housing stability, I was relieved to find an affordable unit that would be the right size to store all of my things, including a lot of art supplies, until I was back on my feet. A year later, I moved and was able to begin removing things from the unit, including these art supplies. They advertise these units as "climate-controlled", but when I walked into my unit it was like walking into a meat locker. All of my tubes of acrylic paint were ruined by the freezing temperatures. My art is my livelihood, and with the moving expenses I just went through I cannot afford to replace these paints. I can't believe a unit advertised as climate-controlled would allow the belongings of people to freeze in the Minnesotan winter.
The on-site manager, Lacey, is very helpful and resourceful. I’ve always had a very pleasant experience at this location. Thank you very much, Lacey!

So I vacated my storage unit & gave notification via the Public Storage app & i also talked to management on June 25th/June 26th. However, they did not get around to actually vacating me out of the system. So I called back & spoke again with someone who eventually vacated me in their system on July 4th. Its a total scam so they can send me a bill for another month of $131. Because I'm there and I wasn't vacated until July 4th. It's a good thing I took pictures of my vacated unit on June 25th and screenshots for these crooks. Horrible business ethics I do not recommend trusting anyone working @this facility.

What storage company does not have a garbage dumpster for their customers to dispose of things in? This storage is the only one I've ever had that didn't have a trash for the customers.
I really appreciated the good costumer, I was helped by a young lady named lacey harris
